The 890 has a medical bay that you can set your spawn in, so you could in theory fly it to a bunker with a smaller ship inside (if you like) and then if you die in the bunker you can spawn right outside in the 890.
Also a good thing to do when doing the 890 jump mission solo. Come in via the hangar, clear it, and it's dozen or two meters to the med bay via door on the right ( if facing the rear from the hangar). Set your spawn, then clear the rest of the ship. If you die, respawn and loot a corpse, finish clearing.

The reason why the reclaimer can't be called up at space stations is because there are no hangars big enough. The 890J has been set up for docking at the station so you can bring that up if it's stored there, but the reclaimer docking isn't implemented yet, so you can only get them at the major landing zones that have the extra chonk hangars.

I know this is an older video, but it feels appropriate to post this here, hopefully Olli will see it. Olli please make a video where you take us on a guided tour around points of interest on one of the planets using your 890 Jump. Like hire someone that’s very familiar already with certain planets to fly us around to nice places. This will also give us an opportunity to go back to it on our own time if we want to see it again. I’d love to just ride around hang out and look at some of the beautiful sites, especially going as a large group. I would pay to have a seat on that tour.
No need to apologise - like some others here, I suspect, I've yet to actually play the game, but have watched a ton of videos on it lately, including most of yours. Most of what I'm seeing here I'm seeing for the first time, and your enthusiasm is infectious. Will definitely use your code when I get the game (probably after free fly week, all being well). Just a heads up, the feel of the scale of everything just simply does not translate well through video vs actually playing the game yourself. Once you play it yourself you'll understand. There is no other game in the world that feels like Star Citizen in terms of scale. I hope you are able to give it a try yourself, I think you'll enjoy it!

There is only one home in Star Citizen. This is Port Olisar ❤ this is where it all started and where everyone spawned as there was nothing else to spawn.
Back in the day all they had was arena commander. Later on they had the hangar, but you couldn't get into your ship (could only walk around it). Later on they added the actual star citizen persistent universe and gave us Area 18 that you could only walk around in. Later came Port Olisar where you could finally fly! My "home" is definetly Lorville. I know its a dingy place but i just find it really "warm" (although polluted) and comfy. Especially the pink sunsets and green meadows on some parts of the planet, and the near purple deserts. So many biomes to explore. And not as cold as Microtech.
You mentioned a Hide and Seek game. I haven't seen one yet. I also had an idea to basically turn the Reclaimer into an Among Us game. No armor, only pistols, everybody searches the ship for *their* specific item. There's a killer (or multiple) about, whose goal is to kill (everyone, a certain number of people, a particular person, etc). I think that the Reclaimer's ambiance would really help create tension. Maybe park the ship on the dark side of some accursed frozen rock, perhaps at a derelict outpost there (Delvin's Salvage and Scrapyard is like that, if I'm not mistaken)
It's cost almost a billion dollars and 13 years of development time. They promised a release date 7 years ago, and have been baiting people ever since with a "it'll be out soon" lie.
Olli43, I hold you and your RUclips videos completely responsible for me buying Star Citizen. Managed to get up and walk around, lots to learn. Thanks for the videos (or fish to those in the know) :-)
The only things that would make owning that ship even better, would be the ability to name it, do small maintenance work on it, be able to Interact with everything in every room, be able to eat food, drink things, watch TV, shower, etc...
You have the potential to make a ton of money with that C2 Hercules, there are a variety of different trade routes to try but you can make money with that shipping Florine from Arcorp Mining 157 on Yela to deakens or hicks research on Yela. Alternatively you can ship Distilled spirits from any of the hydroponics areas to Lorville, and you can ship diamonds from HDMS Thedus or Hahn to Loriville or from ARCcorp mining 048 on Wala to A18. The Florine runs can be completed in some 10 mins and will net you ~40k AUEC per run, and the Diamond runs will take slightly longer but will net you about 100K AUEC per run.

Star Citizen on some next level "I CAN DO BETTER THAN YOU". To FPS and Space Games alike- Good luck. Games like this will become the future as the future is surely becoming a game.
despite this game's issues, the sheer immersion when it comes to standing by massive ships and basically flying inside a regular games entire map is just unbelievable. The server sizes for this game must be a huge cost for this company.
Hey Ollie. Love your star citizen vids. I broke my leg back in January and was stuck at home until recently. I've been watching all your SC vids and like some of your other viewers, playing the game vicariously through you. Everyday I look forward to seeing what kind of madness you're getting into. This game is truly amazing. Always been a console guy but after watching you play, I really want a pc to dive into this game.
The initial sight would be stunning in VR, where the size is much more visible than on flat screen. I´m still skeptical - but damn! This is impressive.
May want to do 5 seconds of research before buying every ship in the store. 🤣 I get that excitement though. If I got gifted 50 mil I would be excited too. You bought the Shrike instead of the regular talon. Shrike version has the small guns and lots of missiles. I like the 600 more than the 890. Does not have the reputation of the 890 but it is a very effective PVE bounty ship. I prefer the Inferno just due to CIG not screwing it up as badly as the Ion nerf.
The missile variant would be fine but currently missiles have a decent chance of blowing off your own wing unless you fly a certain way while launching.
missiles are ridiculously easy to evade right now. Until that is fixed they are mostly a waste. I can fly straight away from an IR missile at full burn and pop a few flares and somehow the missile tracks them instead of the much hotter burn flume at the back of my ship. They need to react like real missiles. In a fighter jet you cut power to idle while popping flares and then barrel roll at least. You do not continue flying full burn in a straight line unless you want to shake hands with that missile. Radar missiles are even dumber. You gotta notch the radar and make the missile look down or you are getting pegged by a radar missile. Chaff will do nothing if you don't mask your radar return from a Doppler radar. I will bet they go for a more gamey way of spoofing missiles like DnD. You get a missile launched at you and roll the 12 sided die to see if your spoof worked.
I like how it looks inside the ship and the feeling of its enormity but it just looks like some billion $ yacht thats been super-sized and outfitted with technology for space travel lol. There has to be some ship design thats out of this world and new for them to sell us. Some never before seen design.
I hate that everyone works really hard to get like 100 000$ in game and he gets gifted 51 million!? I must admit I am a bit jealous what I enjoy the content son keep it up ❤️
Man, I make like 400,000 aUEC an hour by myself. LOL. Do some bounty hunting, and get your reputation up. Or, join an org. Work together with people towards a goal. Money will start flowing. Together people are stronger.
For me „home“ is Crusader. Some years ago, my son and I watched a lot of SC Videos on RUclips and there was just this Planet and its stations. Now I finally can play this game and fell in love with Orison.
Bro I just clicked on this video and realised I used to watch your videos 10 years ago when you covered gta 5 coming out. Mad to see you’re still around.
I’ve never played star citizen, I’ve watched a lot of stuff on it and it looks great, but I think it would be even cooler if you could find rare (sometimes non buyable) ships that were abandoned on random planets and you can take it and try and find parts for the ship until you make it flyable
Don't worry about being annoying during your reviews my friend. It's why I'm here and I think why most are here. We love your reactions or "overreaction" some might say. All good buddy, keep it up, you're enjoyable to watch! you do you...
Congratulations on aquiring your first capital ship! It’s hangar is big enough to even fit that Terrapin of yours Though the Inferno and Ion might not have been the greatest choices. The issue with them is the fact that they are just not that great. They used to be extremely powerful. But ever since CIG nerfed them they have kinda lost their purpose…
Honestly, I find the Ares series still very usable against ships like the Hammerhead or Idris, which is what they're meant to fight. They're not great against Fighters but then that was CIG's intentions for them. But YMMV, that's just my opinion.
the realism in this game is making the think of the physics involved to create all those rooms to actually function and not be destroyed with "normal use". Imagine a pool in your spaceship after you hit the warp drive lmao
Gamers are the best people so kind first time I see your videos and just because someone help you out makes me want to see the video and see how much fun u will have with ur new aircraft.
Sadly both the ares are junk. I'm really sad about that. I pledged the inferno, but am going to melt it down towards a valkyrie during invictus week. Congrats on the spending spree though, that must have been fun. I love the 890 jump as well, and the 600i is my favorite go to pve bounty hunter ship.
600i is so much fun as a bounty hunting ship. Remember, it's a game in development. What is great now, may suck later. And what sucks now, becomes amazing later. Case in point, the Constellation used to be a joke. Now it's one of the best PVE bounty hunting ships in game. And soooo deadly with friends.
Hey man, love your videos. Did you know there is a hangar inside the 890 jump? You can park up to 3 light fighters/ships INSIDE THE SHIP! How cool is that?!

@@DamonCzanik well why lie to people it is a scam.
@@ErinRSU hes not lying, game is barely playable, hence despite all lying hype marketing going on lately, it's a scam, people like over use this these days but it is "unplayable" objectively, factually unplayable. Can't wait for live event cos gonna have more than 40 people trying to log in and its gonna be a shit show. Already canned the dynamic event cos know game could never handle it.
To call it an Alpha is an insult to actual software development procedures.
I realise a lot of people will have had a lot of experience in the game, but likewise some of us are coming to it completely fresh. Thanks for the entertainment, and keep up the good work :)
@@slandshark it's good to know I'm not spoiling all the surprises by watching videos - I think I will enjoy it, it feels like my kind of vibe. I just hope one of my PCs is up to running it OK!
So excited to be able to play the finished version of this game in 45 years.
😂😂😂
We'll likely build a base on Pluto before that happens.
Please kindly stop infecting us with your enthusiasm and with the fun you are having. Fine, here is a like. Now stop it! Ok maybe one more vid.
I love the gamer mentality somebody who's been playing for years sees a new/mid player and decides to just give them stuff it's really nice I hate to say wholesome cuz everybody uses it but it's true
It's been quite a journey. :)
@@slandshark yeah I remember the first Area18 implementation. Ran like dogpoo on my pc. But when we got the “actual” first implementation of the PU and we could spawn at PO this was when I started to invest time into SC. Yes it’s definitely been quite the journey :)
Yeah PO will always be my home... well until CIG blow it up or something
Never heard of this game until now when YT suggested this video...now I want to play lol

how do you grind 50.000.000 credits without dying of total boredom???
Probably using a bot
Grind, I thought you bought it will real money?
It takes for-fucking-ever, since most of the missions break, and half the time even a basic cargo run fails due to bugs.
Love your content bro, keep it up!
That'd be hella fun!
This game is insane how hasn’t it blown up. Like I don’t even know how they could have created this game. It’s ginormous
Bro you got too much time on your hands
@@mccorkleee3375 😋
you do realise that you being happy isnt anyoing, its why we are here. We lover to see you happy
I'm now excited for Olli's reaction to the upcoming Invictus Fleet Ship tour
Maybe the javelin Will have More interior space to check out?
Holy McOllie! I watched your videos talking about leaked GTA 5 pictures waaaay back, over ten years ago... lost to the sands, until, uppon watching this video, I recognised the accent... and BAM! Ollie43!
Good to see you so many years later, with 1.5m subs! Good work!

This behemoth on merely a game is stunning. The developers did a massively brilliant job of optimising this game.
ehh they’ve done a good job at optimising, all they need to do is improve servers now in certain countries because it can cause so many lag problems it’s insane

I just started playing last week and I am still learning. I love this ship man! Congrats!
By the time this game is finished we are all flying spaceships IRL
Star Citizen on some next level "I CAN DO BETTER THAN YOU".
To FPS and Space Games alike- Good luck.
Games like this will become the future as the future is surely becoming a game.
despite this game's issues, the sheer immersion when it comes to standing by massive ships and basically flying inside a regular games entire map is just unbelievable. The server sizes for this game must be a huge cost for this company.
DUDE! I remember watching your planet coaster videos but now you're making content on one of my favourite games of all time?! DAMN
He’s not good enough yet that it makes a difference- relax and let the kid in the candy store have his fun 🤩
@@mrbaglog I wasn't trying to be mean and I understand his excitement. Wish I had an anonymous benefactor give me 50mil.
I must admit I am a bit jealous what I enjoy the content son keep it up ❤️
I think all of us who actually have to make our money are jealous haha.
If you like grinding you can do Bunker for some decent money, I made 5mill in a week just in contract money and hadanite from boxes
Add MonkeMan bro, dude helps out people in game with money
Dude…..he’s bought it before that’s why he barely paid anything
Man, I make like 400,000 aUEC an hour by myself. LOL. Do some bounty hunting, and get your reputation up. Or, join an org. Work together with people towards a goal. Money will start flowing. Together people are stronger.
For me „home“ is Crusader. Some years ago, my son and I watched a lot of SC Videos on RUclips and there was just this Planet and its stations. Now I finally can play this game and fell in love with Orison.
Get 20 people at one end of the ship and 20 people on the other, and have a huge team battle for control
That's kind of what some of the PvE missions that happen inside a broken/disabled 890 jump.
Bro I just clicked on this video and realised I used to watch your videos 10 years ago when you covered gta 5 coming out. Mad to see you’re still around.
I’ve never played star citizen, I’ve watched a lot of stuff on it and it looks great, but I think it would be even cooler if you could find rare (sometimes non buyable) ships that were abandoned on random planets and you can take it and try and find parts for the ship until you make it flyable
like no mans sky basically
@@gonzalox_the3840 I didn’t think about that…
What a beautiful game! Congrats on your new purchase! Those ships really look like superyachts though.
You should host a big yacht party on the 890 with people from your server and take them on a galactic cruise or planetary tour
Booooooooring
New Babbage is certainly the homiest one for me.
Looking outside to see the snow, makes you feel so warm and safe and the technology is so cool.
Playing this in VR has to be amazing!
Don't worry about being annoying during your reviews my friend. It's why I'm here and I think why most are here. We love your reactions or "overreaction" some might say. All good buddy, keep it up, you're enjoyable to watch! you do you...
Congratulations on aquiring your first capital ship! It’s hangar is big enough to even fit that Terrapin of yours
Though the Inferno and Ion might not have been the greatest choices.
Love this game so much, can't wait to play it :)

I prefer my C2 Hercules for box missions, it is listed as a courier afterall.
you are not annoying. I am just smiling as I am so happy for you. It is awesome
I misread the title read that you spent that much on Star Citizen.
12:45 "It's bloomin' huge!" made my day!
This my first time seeing ANYTHING on this game and I'm blown away about how dope everything looks!

there is 0% of this video that justifies spending 48k$ on this ship or any in game item.... you can create better on Space Engineers or build basic on Starfield. The interior of this ship has the quality of Cyberpunk 2077 that's all...
I’ve never played the game so might be missing something here but did this 48 million in game currency cost 48,000 real dollars or something because otherwise I can’t make sense of your comment?

I'd love to have a bigger ship I been playing for a bit an I keep having the problem of disconnecting while on missions an losing all my gear an keep having to buy more I've lost a ton of money cause of it but hopefully I'll get the chance to fly a big ship congrats that ship is awesome
Its ridiculous that things like this are in the game and they are expertly crafted. Just what an amazing job by the designers on these ships and how everything functions and works.

And I tell you what, it was really nice first video to watch
Be so glad when Star field comes out and puts this incomplete game in the grave this game is nothing more then an pay to win game where as starfield isn’t
You played it already? Wow. Not out for a year, that's impressive.
Hi 1st. Your not annoying. 2nd. I demand the captains chair alot more luxurious. 3rd great video. Im enjoying it.
looks like a boat.
New Babbage was my start, I saw it in a video of yours and when I got the game (Using your code of course) I chose to live there.
I don't get the luxurious aspect of a ship. What are you going to do, sit your avatar in a hot tub and watch him there in 3rd person? Someone please explain the appeal to me. Does the thicker mattress do anything to affect your personal sleep in real life or even your avatars? Give me a basic functional Klingon esthetic ship any day of the week.
It adds to the social experience of the game
Play space engineers it's almost exactly like star citizen and it's a lot less expensive to get big ships
dude got an answer 2 years later 💀
890 jump? I'd be happy with a 400i or hell a 600i..One day I'll grind up enough credits...or find me a Star Citizen 'Sugar Daddy' like you did haha.
Great vids man :)
this game sucks
New Babbage and the Microtech area is my home base, it was my starter planet when I first started playing during a free fly event. its were most of the ships that i dont use everyday for missions and stuff are stored.
Nice Clickbait.

I've never seen this game, so I'm glad your going off on the ship. I learned a lot in this vid... ty!!
This would 100% be a ship where some horrifying monster starts ending lives and no one can escape unless the ship is being blown up
The fact that ships have interiors is so cool
