- Truecoat II quite spraying after about 1/5 of the paint cup is sprayed. My sprayer has worked flawlessly for 2 yrs, then the last two jobs, I've had to refill the cup after a couple just passes , it was a mess, but I did complete it. Now it's time to find out what's going on with it.

Wish I had a sink in my area. Good job.
Yep, that will do it too....once the hole in the suction tube hits atmosphere it pulls air instead of material....Good catch Ill remember that too.
I too have a piece of crap graco that worked for 2/3 of a job. Spent 5 hrs working on prepping the room and trying to fix the stupid gun.
I did something like that on my sink, and my mother smacked me with the spatula before my wife yelled at me. And it is my house.
Try some large shrink wrap they use for electrical wiring. You can slide it on the tube and then hit it with a heat gun or blow dryer and shrink it arount the tube....worth a try, its trashed anyway right..??
Did you ever get the foam gasket off?
I couldn’t take it anymore
I did get the foam gasket off, it was poo sin taking and a waste of time, I found no vent hole, so don't take it off. I did a hack on the house, video coming soon. CPAP hose worked.
Smokehouse BBQ
I’m just messin with ya
I have the same sprayer all torn apart and I can’t get the dang thing to prime...any suggestions ?
I tore down the whole pump and cleaned it out fairly well...still no prime
@@flyingturtle3384 put a water hose up to the inlet port and force a little water pressure in while running it. Or I've done it upside down in sink, to prime it too. Have you tried pump oil thru it?
Can u replace pump on these when they pack in
Mines still going strong, 4 or 5 years. put that pump armor fluid in it religiously, when storing and occasionally throat seal oil. Thanks for watching.
i have one thats gushing paint while im spraying any suggestions?
Where is the gushing coming from? Tip?
Seems to be behind where you screw the tip on to.
So what was your solution?
I took it apart and cleaned everything and put it back together. I replaced the spray tip top
@@adriancastillo1143 thanks going to try that right now. Too hot in Cali to be rolling right now lol
Will this be the same for the tc pro
I believe those, TC Pro, have a collapsible bag, that the gun collapses the bag under a vacuum and has no hose. But ya have to start with a full cup, to aid priming. Thanks for watching.
Kenny Dykes : yeah I’m having a problem with it right now , it started working for 2 min then it just stopped. It makes a noise but no paint comes out.
Have you disconnected from the power point ?
What is the power point? The electrical cord your referring too?
@@kennydykes892I'm having the same trouble. What did you end up doing to fix it?
@@adamnjaniehughes8437 Electrical tape around the pickup tube worked for a while and ended up buying a new pickup tube. Pricey $40
Unclog the vent hole......Your vacuum locking it.....this model has a hard cup not a collapsible paint cup
After clearing the vent, which wasn't clogged, it ended up being a pin hole in the pick up tube, mid tube. Apparently they dont last very long, just like printer cartriges, and they aren't cheap, $40.00 electrical tape has lasted for the last 3 jobs. Still trying to figure out a hack, to do it cheaper.
Turn the narow ..
Arrow, that's not it, pick up tube had a hole in it.
Their just junk
I have to say these Graci are junk, back to the drawing board fix all the problems and offer generous trade in’s , on the ones you’ve got out there in the market …
We'll the jury's still out on mine, Its at least 5 yrs old or older. It worked well for me over the yrs till now. I had to clean in more thoroughly lately and half way thru the spray, paint started coming out of the case. I'll video that repair, hopefully it doesn't end by tossing it in the trash.
