  • I got a battery powered airless on marketplace cheap and broken. I’m going to rip it to pieces and see if I can fix it.

My best guess is (don’t sue me if I’m wrong) is that the reason why you shouldn’t turn the pump when it’s removed from the case is that you easily pull out the gasket during the movement of the piston since it is hold in place by the case.
I have had the situation a couple of times that the front valve was clogged. In this situation you don’t need to replace the entire pump but only the front valve which is “only” half the price of the pump.
I was successful in cleaning it by letting it rest in a thinned paint remover for a couple of days.
I’m not sure how the front valve works - I haven’t try to dismantle it- but it seems to me to be the weak point of the construction. It’s supposed to be the gate of dry/wet paint and opens by pressure by the pump. If anybody has been successful in dismantling it I would be happy to know how to do it

Same problem happens with mine, I believe pump has to be replaced, after use the gun should be left with pump armour to storage it otherwise these machines get clogged at the pump

Blown seal in the back of one of the triaxe pistons. Needs pump replacement as these pumps cannot be fixed.

I just did practically the same Shit....didn’t fix it either
Motor still goes but the damn pump doesn’t seal,
    Got some new O rings
    Pisses me off
I think the rubber gets oxidized by Shit in the paint which makes it fuck up

Pumps are replaceable, but not repairable. Hope this helps:

Should remove this video dude. You’re gonna cause someone to destroy their pump messing with shit you know nothing about! Even the slightest rotation will destroy the sync!

Maybe you should take a chill pill. The title says I didn’t fix it, it was destroyed before I bought it. If a person followed along with me without reviewing the whole process first then they have no business taking a tool apart and will ruin it whether I’m to blame or something else

there is no 'sync' in these pumps...they are not timed or indexed to anything at all. The motor rotates the pump, the same as your hand can.
