It basically *has* to be some form of Afton just from a lore standpoint. Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie, Chica, Golden Freddy and Marionette may potentially be murderous, but they’re not actively malicious (except to Afton or people they think are Afton); they’re confused and vengeful but not evil. Baby is almost in a similar boat (she got more deliberately evil with the books and in FNAF6, but that seems more to do with craziness and manipulation than active pure hate) and Ennard or his components may fall into that as well (if you believe he/they are actually sentient and ensouled) or are just an AI. The glamrocks, Mediocre Melodies, rockstars, toys, etc are also non-sentient under normal circumstances, just being assorted tiers of AI. The nightmares may not be real at all, and even if they are, are unlikely to have souls, so I doubt the Entity would be interested. Afton’s basically the only self-willed, actively malicious entity in the series, so likely the only one the Entity would be interested in hijacking. Now, whether it’s “Purple Guy,” Spring Bonnie, Springtrap, Scraptrap, Glitchtrap, Burntrap or some other variant (or maybe all of them as skins) who knows?
It has to be Springtrap. He’s the fan-favourite by a long shot and strikes the best balance between representing the monsterous killers of DBD and the quirky animatronics of FNAF. Also Springtrap is literally a corpse in a suit, he doesn’t have much of a chance in any other crossovers.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if he tried to make the best of it and fiddled around with adult souls now that he has however long in the Realm. He may never progress due to the way time works there, but I doubt that’d stop him from trying.
To be fair, the reason he used kids was because they were easier to trick to lure them away plus it was what his work was around, but I am 100% sure he would have used anyone naïve enough to follow him into a deathly trap. DBD is as you say, paradise for William. Without any "buts" if you ask me.
We have that theory where the entity makes it so that killers who are unwilling to kill see the survivors as people that they're willing to kill or to increase the amount of emotion they feel when killing them (Deathslinger sees the people that wronged him, Spirit sees the people that bullied her and her dad). So maybe the Entity makes it so that William sees all the survivors as kids
Something to note Dawko, is that THAT specific chapter is for Dead by Daylight's Anniversary (considered the Anniversary Chapter) meaning a DBD event will be associated with it, possibly with an anniversary skin for fnaf!!

With how the Entity feeds on emotions, Remnant being in DbD doesn’t feel as out of place given how the animatronics are haunted and how William became immortal to a good extent through the series after the end of Fnaf 3 until Pizza Sim. I can see the entity take William/Springtrap before being burnt in the pizza sim as that’s the last canonical time William is physically “alive” and would be a way to stealthly take him without anyone seeing. I can also see some other animatronics be part of the collab as skins like Molten Freddy for Dredge or Bonny for Oni (slamming down his guitar on survivors).
4:00 If i remember correctly about the DBD lore, the entity that brings everyone to the map forces the killers to kill the survivours, so if the animatronic possesed by kids were the killers they would be forced to kill even though they dont want to, it brings the inocence of the kids in this point of view but not everyone knows about the DBD lore so people would think they kill because they want.
That's mainly for the ones that don't want to kill. If the killer is already a psychopath and loves killing, than there's no need really. I imagine springtrap wouldn't need to be forced.
It will most likely be the game version because they used the game logo instead of the movie logo. The copyrights in the image also only mentions Scott's name, not Universal or Blumhouse.
Knowing that Nicolas Cage is a survivor in Dead By Daylight as well now has me imagining a scene where Nicolas goes full Janitor mode (referencing his role in Willys Wonderland) and absolutely destroying Springtrap 😅

I don’t think this would be more of a movie collab since blumhouse isn’t mentioned in the credits at the bottom of the announcement, so I think… Killer: Springtrap. (dbd name could be The Springtrap, The Corpse, The Bunny idk) Survivor: Vanessa. (security breach not movie) Map: Fnaf 1 pizzeria, fazbears fright or maybe the pizzaplex but only the first floor. Mori: Springtrap bites the survivor, crushing their head. Springtraps mechanic: He carries both an axe and a springlock animatronic head that he can switch between whenever, his axe is basically just a regular killer attack (2 hits and you’re downed) and the springlock head can be placed on a survivor (only one head at a time) which would work a bit like the pigs reverse beartrap, over time, the survivor wearing the springlock head can either take it off themselves (with a small chance of succeeding, if they fail they get closer to death) or having another survivor take it off. But if it isn’t removed, overtime, the survivors stats will get progressively worse and it will be harder to repair generators, heal other players etc. It will eventually get to the point where they’re downed, and revealed to springtrap. The animatronic head will also just fall off the survivors head, which allows springtrap to pick it up and use it again.
SL as a map with the house connected to it above would be cool. maybe they can connect it to freadbears (joking on the fredbear part obviously not gonna happen)

What they should do is have Springtrap with multiple skins. Like they can do Scraptrap, Burntrap (but maybe not), Glitchtrap, Spring Bonnie, Movie Spring Bonnie, and possibly Vanny too. Then for maps they could pair it with Fazbear's Frights, The Fnaf 1 location, and the underground Fnaf 6 location (The Pizzaplex might be too big).

I think at this point Mike would be a possible survivor since they could get Josh Hutcherson is likeness to be in the Collab if not they could make a simler looking character too the movie counterpart If the map isn’t the pizzeria, I’d say they should make a more spaced out version of fazbears fright with multiple different areas, one that represents the area from the game, five nights at Freddy’s 3 and then other areas representing other fnaf styled horror attractions, so it probably be more of a fazbears fright horror, land, sort of thing
My favorite thing bout Scott is that he is really careful about using his franchise not like other things where they colab with everything like Disney or other brands so when we do get a colab it feels right not it feeling off.
An reimagined version of Fasbear's Fright should be best pick. It's Springtrap's home. As for survivors? Having Micheal Afton from tve gamesa, Vanessa from the movie and Charlotte Emilly from the silver eyes would work just fine. If it's Springtrap, one of his perks has to be the Phantoms.
The killer will most likely be william afton because scott said he doesn't want the kids to look like bloodthirsty killers, while on the other hand springtrap actually is one.

I'm an avid DBD player and a fan of fnaf since late 2014, when the games were still brand new, and the lore was not known. I was always hopeful for fnaf in DBD, so seeing it finally enter the game puts a smile on my face. I'm not sure how it'll work, I'm positive springtrap might be the killer, but for the survivor, I can only truly see Michael Afton (not really sure how it'll look since we really don't know what he looks like) but, I know with Scott's help, fnaf in DBD will be an insane crossover, and I can barely contain my excitement
the survivors will the interesting to see, especially if it ends up being someone like michael who we never really saw outside 8-bit minigames (and his silhouette in that one SL ending), unless they go the movie route and give us josh hutcherson, which works for me too. gregory or vanessa could also work as survivors either way i am SOOOO HYPED FOR THIS!!!!
i saw a good point on facebook im scared about, all the “dead by daylight x ____” collabs have been cosmetic collabs only, when licensed full collabs come out its not dbd x whatever. could just be bc its too soon and they wanted as little info as possible but im gonna be so sad if its only cosmetics

DBD springtrap will have nothing to do with Glitchtrap or Burntrap. One because Glitch & Burntrap being afton is an uncofirmed and increasingly unlikely theory (they are more than likely just the Mimic), but even if Glitch & Burntrap ARE Afton, Scott would not want to reveal that in a collab project
I have cool idea for the power, even though its just an idea. What if the hook, are replaced with four animatronics (freddy, bunny, chica, foxy), which he stuffs the survivor inside. They act as view points for him. He can use them to attack the players or prevent unhook (pull the survivor out). It sound really complex i know, but its cool!
Springtrap would be so awesome but like imagine Freadbear and his bite of 83 move,where the characters get put into his mouth and he crushes their heads or something

Do you love playing against Singularity and wish you could force all the survivors to play as him? Well then the new killer, Springtrap, is perfect for you! Anyways, lore wise, Springtrap is a perfect fit for Dead by Daylight, since a lot of characters were taken by the Entity when they died or were near death, and I just remember the Scott Cawthon interview I think you did just recently where Scott said he never intended Burntrap to move, and it definitely just feels like Springtrap's done by this point, and this is just the final form of "I always come back!"

I kinda don't want the movie adaptation because I feel like the games have the better representation, like I would if it was like fazbear frights as the map with the parking lot or something and I know it might be much but I'd like if Scott would help them make a model for micheal afton kinda like what behavior did for Yoichi from the Ring since Yoichi didn't have a adult version but the creators oversaw making the model for a adult version, so I'd like if they did something similar for Micheal Afton as a survivor
Could be Vanny in a part of the Pizzaplex with maybe Vanessa (game version) as a survivor, or even (I'm getting crazy here) MXES or the Mimic or maybe one of the ruined animatronics in a part of the ruined Pizzaplex (but I don't know for the survivors)
Personally it’d be coolest to have the FFPS monsters (Afton, Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby) as three different killers that could be chosen Each with their own brand of horror and style of hunting Afton the relentless stalker with a susceptibility to audio lures that hijacks his controls but the ability to sprint short distances Scrap Baby the ambusher who kills in a single attack but is slow and obvious if she isn’t careful Molten Freddy the quick, eccentric, insane freak, quick and agile and able to slip through small spaces and climb about, always obvious but never predictable, not physically strong but able to break tech, set traps, and taunt his victims and ultimately take them down through persistence

Springtrap should have an ability to summon the phantom animatronics and will do different effects like foxy for example say springtrap can place them in lockers or generators and will jumpscare someone if they were to interact with those and foxy should give the exposed effect and chica can give you the oblivious effect and Freddy can give you both blindness and hindered that’s what I want to see as his ability
It might be the Mimic, since Steel Wool Studios announced a new game today called "Secrets of the Mimic" which releases 2025 aswell. So they might make the killer the Mimic so they can just use the model of it
I feel like we could also have The Mimic as the killer and Vanessa as the survivor in the Sinkhole or the ruined Pizzaplex, but unlike Springtrap who could have the Phantoms as his ability similar to The Knight, I have no idea what The Mimic could do

I think it would make sense because I would see it as the entity tormenting William for what he has done and maybe making Cassidy see all of the survivors as William Afton? We have that theory where the entity makes it so that killers who are unwilling to kill see the survivors as people that they're willing to kill or to increase the amount of emotion they feel when killing them (Deathslinger sees the people that wronged him, Spirit sees the people that bullied her and her dad). So maybe the Entity makes it so that William sees all the survivors as kids
Something to note Dawko, is that THAT specific chapter is for Dead by Daylight's Anniversary (considered the Anniversary Chapter) meaning a DBD event will be associated with it, possibly with an anniversary skin for fnaf!!

With how the Entity feeds on emotions, Remnant being in DbD doesn’t feel as out of place given how the animatronics are haunted and how William became immortal to a good extent through the series after the end of Fnaf 3 until Pizza Sim.
I can see the entity take William/Springtrap before being burnt in the pizza sim as that’s the last canonical time William is physically “alive” and would be a way to stealthly take him without anyone seeing. I can also see some other animatronics be part of the collab as skins like Molten Freddy for Dredge or Bonny for Oni (slamming down his guitar on survivors).

4:00 If i remember correctly about the DBD lore, the entity that brings everyone to the map forces the killers to kill the survivours, so if the animatronic possesed by kids were the killers they would be forced to kill even though they dont want to, it brings the inocence of the kids in this point of view but not everyone knows about the DBD lore so people would think they kill because they want.
That's mainly for the ones that don't want to kill. If the killer is already a psychopath and loves killing, than there's no need really. I imagine springtrap wouldn't need to be forced.

Springtraps mechanic: He carries both an axe and a springlock animatronic head that he can switch between whenever, his axe is basically just a regular killer attack (2 hits and you’re downed) and the springlock head can be placed on a survivor (only one head at a time) which would work a bit like the pigs reverse beartrap, over time, the survivor wearing the springlock head can either take it off themselves (with a small chance of succeeding, if they fail they get closer to death) or having another survivor take it off. But if it isn’t removed, overtime, the survivors stats will get progressively worse and it will be harder to repair generators, heal other players etc. It will eventually get to the point where they’re downed, and revealed to springtrap. The animatronic head will also just fall off the survivors head, which allows springtrap to pick it up and use it again.

What they should do is have Springtrap with multiple skins. Like they can do Scraptrap, Burntrap (but maybe not), Glitchtrap, Spring Bonnie, Movie Spring Bonnie, and possibly Vanny too. Then for maps they could pair it with Fazbear's Frights, The Fnaf 1 location, and the underground Fnaf 6 location (The Pizzaplex might be too big).

If the map isn’t the pizzeria, I’d say they should make a more spaced out version of fazbears fright with multiple different areas, one that represents the area from the game, five nights at Freddy’s 3 and then other areas representing other fnaf styled horror attractions, so it probably be more of a fazbears fright horror, land, sort of thing
My favorite thing bout Scott is that he is really careful about using his franchise not like other things where they colab with everything like Disney or other brands so when we do get a colab it feels right not it feeling off.

I'm an avid DBD player and a fan of fnaf since late 2014, when the games were still brand new, and the lore was not known. I was always hopeful for fnaf in DBD, so seeing it finally enter the game puts a smile on my face. I'm not sure how it'll work, I'm positive springtrap might be the killer, but for the survivor, I can only truly see Michael Afton (not really sure how it'll look since we really don't know what he looks like) but, I know with Scott's help, fnaf in DBD will be an insane crossover, and I can barely contain my excitement

One because Glitch & Burntrap being afton is an uncofirmed and increasingly unlikely theory (they are more than likely just the Mimic), but even if Glitch & Burntrap ARE Afton, Scott would not want to reveal that in a collab project

I have cool idea for the power, even though its just an idea. What if the hook, are replaced with four animatronics (freddy, bunny, chica, foxy), which he stuffs the survivor inside. They act as view points for him. He can use them to attack the players or prevent unhook (pull the survivor out). It sound really complex i know, but its cool!

Springtrap should have an ability to summon the phantom animatronics and will do different effects like foxy for example say springtrap can place them in lockers or generators and will jumpscare someone if they were to interact with those and foxy should give the exposed effect and chica can give you the oblivious effect and Freddy can give you both blindness and hindered that’s what I want to see as his ability
It might be the Mimic, since Steel Wool Studios announced a new game today called "Secrets of the Mimic" which releases 2025 aswell. So they might make the killer the Mimic so they can just use the model of it

Honestly, I would love for the killer to be Golden Freddy and the survivor to be William Afton. I think it would make sense because I would see it as the entity tormenting William for what he has done and maybe making Cassidy see all of the survivors as William Afton? The entity I think can mess with what Killers see because that is what it did with The Spirit. It is like what happened in UCN with Golden Freddy tormenting William Afton for all eternity.
If it's not Springtrap, it could be Ennard. They're also a villian and absolutely horrifying.
Nah, it's Springtrap for sure, he's a serial killer after all, and ennard is most likely kids not adult. Every dbd killers have a origins and Springtrap's origin is perfectly fits, in overall springtrap himself is fits to dbd in every aspects
