    I'm 81 years old and I need to keep memory and every day cognitive function intact so I eat 50 or more blue berries ( called brain berries) every morning.

      That's not going to help your memory.
      Too much BB in a nevgobis is not good too.
      Unfortunately BB also makes your toilet black - which you might need to stop to be sure that the colour is because of BB and not an issue with something else.

      @@techknow9237 I have been eating them for 15 years they do not make my toilet black. If you eat a couple cups they may but a reasonable 1/2 cup should not do it.

      You are right, so says Medial Medium also, wild blueberries are like drinking from the holy gral, cultivated like drinking from a paper cup, but if you do not find the wild ones like in Canada, cultivated will do good also 💜

    Salal berries have an even higher antioxidant profile than blueberries and in the PNW they are free to forage and are all over the place. Most locals are not clued in on it.

    I have been eating them very regular for 15 years. I do not notice anything, except my good cholesterol is high. This is supposed to be a great thing because it cancels out some of your bad. Blueberries are thought to raise good cholesterol. The heart doctor told me that he has never seen such high levels of good cholesterol. I do not think you should expect to notice anything different if you eat these regularly. It is doing stuff on the inside that you will probably never notice. And you have to include them into a wide varied diet with lots of veggies and fruits. If you just eat blueberries and not many more veggies and fruits do not expect anything at all.
