Hey there. I have the same truck, but a crew cab. I Lifted about 4 inches. Running aftermarket straight pipes out the rear. I just bought, but haven't installed the same Blackhawk CAI filter and I also bought a K&N throttle control module. Looking forward to the install. This video is a year old now. What has your experience been with this filter. Any regrets or thoughts, advice on this matter. Appreciate the response and I subscribed because of this video. I was waiting on your thoughts on the end. Was there a noticeable power increase, any increase in HP, change in MPG. Overall was this upgrade worth it.
Thanks I appreciate that. Honestly I didn’t notice any changes in hp or mpg. It’s probably minimal. The air intake does make a throaty sound when accelerating though. But I’ve had zero issues with everything I’ve done to the truck so far.

Do I really need to drill that second hole?
I am asking because I am pondering installing a cold air intake on my 2013 chevy 1500. Did you notice a change in your MPG after the installation?
No I did not
did you have to retune the engine/computer after the install?
Did this intake come with “legal” variation sticker I live in California. I need an intake that comes w the sticker just curious if this one came w it

Does this intake neck down at the maf to match the factory intake diameter?
Not quite sure what you’re asking. But your factory MAF sensor does work with this intake. I have not had any problems
Have you had any issues with your check engine light coming on after installing this?
Nope. It won’t trigger check engine light.
