"For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels; and not the words of one who kneels". Should be the first thing any man should learn growing up. That is just deep and freeing to hear.
He was so good someone bet him he couldn’t make a children’s song a hit. He recorded a swingin’ version of Old MacDonald Had a Farm …….and it actually charted.
One of the greatest songs ever recorded. Before Michael Jackson, before the Beatles, before Elvis Presley, there was Frank Sinatra. One of the two or three greatest male singers of all-time. I don't know who you'd put ahead of him on the list. Frank has a vast library of songs from which to choose. Check out "That's Life," "Witchcraft," "The Best Is Yet to Come," "It Was A Very Good Year," and of course his anthem for New York City, "Theme from New York, New York."
Frank is a FUCKING LEGEND. Im big into classic rock/metal and 90s rap but Frank is just different. Good music is good music. Man had such a powerful aura about him. And hes an OG gangster. Also was an early activist during the civil rights movement in the 50s a 60s. He was just a good dude.
A grown man at the end of his life is talking to us, how do we listen. I love the last verse of this song. He stood and said what he felt, he would take all the blows did not matter. That is a man!
Dude, you made me laugh out loud with your reaction after you heard the song. You were right on about everything you figured out about Frank. Known as the Chairman of the Board and part of The Rat Pack, They all actually did hang out with mobsters The heyday of the old, original Las Vegas, not to mention New Jersey. Frank was from Jersey. Don't ever feel geeky checking out a different kind of music. There's so much variety and talent you know nothing of. That goes for all of us. Why eat the same thing everyday, even if it is delicious? Broaden your horizons. First time watching your channel, I really enjoyed it. And now, for something completely different. There are certain performances that I classify as having "captured the magic." There are many performance videos of the same song by the same group, but only some of them capture that magic. I watch tons of reactions to these types of performances, it's so much fun to watch these people catch that magic for the first time and see the Joy on people's faces while getting to watch the video myself again. I've discovered new things about them every time. To fully appreciate it, you can't watch it just once. Too much going on. Here are two that I have probably watched thousands of times. Dire Straits Sultans of Swing, (Alchemy Live) These guys are positively jamming out and having fun. They make it look easy, but it takes talent and rehearsal, not to mention choreography and lighting, just add magic. There's so much going on that you barely notice how bouncy these guys are while they are playing and singing and dancing. The rhythm guitarist in the striped pants is the lead guitarist's brother. Lead guitarist Mark Knopfler, rhythm guitarist David Knopfler, bass guitarist in the white suit, John Illsley, Terry Williams killing it on drums. NOT Pick Withers, the group's original drummer. Many reactors say that It is perhaps the best live performance of any that they have reacted to on their channel. I can't seem to stop watching it and listening to it. Have fun! You're welcome. ruclips.net/video/8Pa9x9fZBtY/видео.htmlsi=NdeSiZHvpVRlPnvM And this one, which you have probably heard in movies, Ghost, with Patrick swayze and Demi It has been endlessly covered, Elvis Presley coming in as a Close second to the Righteous Brothers studio version. I've watched women's eyes messed over as they fall in love and Men brought to tears reacting to this video for the first time. You really have to listen more than once to give Bobby Hatfield credit for the quality of this live performance as well as the jazzy, bluesy touches he has added, different from the classic studio cut. This song is originally from an old movie, really old, called Unchained. It is about a man considering escaping prison to see his true love before his scheduled execution. Not many people know that, I learned it on RUclips. It is known as one of the most beautifully written and composed love songs of all time. But this performance takes the cake. This was recorded in a small television audience studio on a weekly musical variety show. The Andy Williams Show. Andy Williams being a famous singer himself. BTW, this video has been colorized. It was originally filmed in black and white. ruclips.net/video/m0EBs6uRgtw/видео.htmlsi=NsrV6S9AhlTLAgmw I'm going to subscribe and check out your channel more often. Your reaction was authentic and refreshing, plus you funny!😅
After he died, it came out that frank stood up for a lot of things no one knew about. One hotel hired him and Sammy Davis but told Sammy Davis he could only come in the rear for blacks. Frank told the owner Sammy comes in the front or he won't perform. Frank was an honorary mayor of Palm Springs one time. He learned about a poor family who didn't have any furniture in their house. He made it happen to deliver furniture to their house. There were many times he stood up for black entertainers when life was segregated. He escorted Lena Horne to the Stork Club and she was refused admittance. Frank told the owner either she comes in or he will make a big stink about. It also helped that Lena Horne was a favorite of mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel. She got in.
@@ms.annthrope415 I believe you are absolutely right. A lot of entertainers knew other folks in the business. Frank isn't a surprise to me being that way. Elvis, the same kind of guy. Neither saw color.
Check out Sinatra doing, It Was A Very Good Year, The Theme From New York, New York and his newer cover of Ol' Man River. Great tunes by the greatest talent
I'm looking at this pic of Frankie right now.. that's why he was called old blue eyes.. look at those blue eyes.. wow.. Daddy raised me on Frankie.. Momma raised me on Elvis.. I think I got a good education
One of the old cartoons parodying Frank Sinatra when he was a skinny young man and had a big effect on the ladies, "Swooning the Swooners": ruclips.net/video/5vP8-zm7KIM/видео.html
Bro, please make your image large and the image of what you’re reacting to small! I’m old I have to squint to see you react and even then it’s hard. We e all seen what you’re reacting to 100+ times before we came here to watch you react! Additionally your RUclips possible strike incidence will go way down if you’re not monopolising the screen with copyrighted material. Thanks.
My Young Brutha, I'm neither going to confirm or deny! But, Mr. Frank Sinatra wasn't just your average singer! And as for his Mafia connections?...Well, I'll just let you use your imagination on that one. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨
"For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught. To say the things he truly feels; and not the words of one who kneels". Should be the first thing any man should learn growing up. That is just deep and freeing to hear.
be serious, the first kind of music a young man should be listening to is jazz
Yep Frank was Italian from New Jersey. Love his music plus he was a great actor as well
We should all be lucky enough to feel that way about our lives at the end of it . . .
One beautiful song. Just gets to the soul, definitely a man's anthem
Frank Sinatra, a true OG Gangster. Loved the reaction.
One of the greatest of all time. Can't go wrong with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr or Bing Crosby. Yes he's Italian.
Sinatra's parents were from a small town called 'Lercara Friddi' (Sicily)
My Way was written for Frank Sinatra by Paul Anka as a tribute to his long and illustrious life & career.
This is a classic for a reason. We all experience this life don’t we all hope we can hold our heads up high when we look back at our lives ☮️
He was so good someone bet him he couldn’t make a children’s song a hit. He recorded a swingin’ version of Old MacDonald Had a Farm …….and it actually charted.
One could argue that 'High Hopes' also qualifies as a children's song.
As a 60 year old man I really enjoy watching young men react to the final line on this because they are craving leadership

Inspiration for ANY man. Nice reaction Squire.!!
Great gestures! Beat one’s chest…goes to the heart and soul.
Sinatra sang a song, and it hits you right in the gut. What talent he had. I just love it! 🧡
Yes, he actually had connections. Yup.
AKA Old Blue Eyes. That is one hell of an anthem!
Yes, he actually was affiliated with the Italian mafia in nyc
He was an og....
It was a pleasure to watch you get into this wonderful old song, young sir!
More to come !

Great reaction
Paul Anka wrote this for Frank who I read did not like it. Yet it probably is his most iconic song.
He did know some shady people but he was honest as far as i know.
After he died, it came out that frank stood up for a lot of things no one knew about. One hotel hired him and Sammy Davis but told Sammy Davis he could only come in the rear for blacks. Totally Italian! Look up the Rat Pack.
He WAS a gangster!
Good reaction!
Oh, you'll get it right away!
Great reaction to a goat. Yes NJ Italian.
Check out Sinatra doing, It Was A Very Good Year, The Theme From New York, New York and his newer cover of Ol' Man River. Great tunes by the greatest talent
We played this at my Dad's funeral. He loved Frank.
Rip dad 🙌🏿
The connects, so it's been said, yes ;)
Pure singing talent without one word about killin' cops and slapping 'hos or dropping F bombs. Perfect pitch and phrasing. Know what I'm saying?
You hear every lyric clear not like those mumble singers out there.
Those chest slaps are exactly how I feel in those parts. 💪
I'm looking at this pic of Frankie right now.. that's why he was called old blue eyes.. look at those blue eyes.. wow.. Daddy raised me on Frankie.. Momma raised me on Elvis.. I think I got a good education
Yup, he was connected.
Hopefully my way is the right way!
