When the Beatles came on the scene, their music was knocking the crap our of the crooners, Sinatra, Dino, Damone & others. The song "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" was written for Frank Sinatra in 1948. Even though Frank sang it, it just laid there. It was also later recorded by Peggy Lee and Dinah Washington & it still just sat there. Then, it was Dino's turn !! His recording of the song knocked " A Hard Day's Night " off the top of the US chart on August 15, 1964, Dino sent a telegram to Elvis Presley that read, "If you can't handle the Beatles, I'll do it for you, pally." !! He was the first of the "old guys" to knock off the Beatles. And that, my friends, is today's music trivia !!

11:00 this one was made so much more epic by the full live band! Awesome!
I love Frank Sinatra. He is one of my all time favorite singers. That first singer was fantastic.
The magic of Frank Sinatra instantly entrances and charms. Don't worry, when the spell ends you will return to normal. Eventually. 😊
Who’s Dino? This is the first I heard so I’m curious
