    so wise. Thanks for this explanation. People ''do yoga'' as an exercise not being aware about basic yoga rules- do no harm. Yoga in the west is all business, commercial not about spirituality and simplicity.

      Hello lidka, well said yoga is losing its true teaching, it's more business type, instructors are teaching it like gymnastics & physical exercises. By the way where are you from, if you don't mind

    Hello Dr. Yogendra:
    I just came across yours vid, I find it informative especially when you spoke about the thyroid b/c I've experiencing some disturbances with my blood pressure (it fluxuates so much ) I just made the link between the thyroid and blood pressure. where do I go from here? Are there some test I have to take or some exercise I can do to take care of this problem. I was diagnosed as having hyperthyroidism. Thank you in advance for your response. Light, blessings and much insight.

    So, is the order:
    Inhale, jalandhar first,
    exhale then udyana and then moolbandha? Then release.

    If I practice moolbandh or root lock for a long period of time, it hurts in my lower back. Is it okay?

      Namaste. If the pain continues then please discontinue doing moolbandha. Reduce the time and see how your body responds
