This is not from the 80s. Freddie had this hairstyle shown at the beginning when he's at the piano in the late 70s. From 81 on he will have his short hair and moustache. Lovely music.

Hey where did you get the first clip from of Freddie playing the piano? I haven’t seen that clip anywhere else and would like it without the text in front of it, thanks! ❤
Not buying it sorry. If that was original footage why did it have to cut away to previous concert scenes. I'm a fan let me just say that first. But i think the uploader is trying to pull a fast one on us here. If the uploader can prove this isn't just a piano track edited over film clips of Freddie then I will happily stand corrected.
This does not sound like Freddie's style AT ALL. Anybody with a few years piano training could be playing it. If it's Freddie he must have been very heavily sedated, but most likely it's fake.
It doesn't sound like Freddie. All of these so called tapes from Jim Hutton sounds like fakes. Why? Because Freddie played with a lot of dynamics, just like his singing. He played with a lot of harder, softer or louder and softer dynamics. His loud keys was very strong and direct he often used crescendos and decrescendos to accentuate ideas. This is often a mistake you hear when people do Queen piano covers, they completely miss te dynamics, creating a more boring or less exciting piece of music while technically playing the same keys. And of course Freddie had a great sense of rhythm and harmony, these characteristics can take years to learn.
How do you know that? Would you kindly explain that to us? To me it sounds like Freddie, but I would like to know your opinion too. (I don't know anything about piano)
@@MatthewBillyJoelBootlegs I'm a piano teacher/composer and I'm a fan of queen since their begining. It would be very surprising to me if it was Freddie playing at the piano in this video. Cheers.

He is in that category of artists who, no matter how much time passes, will always be remembered.

He was good enough. One of the best I would say.
Thanks for your comment!
He thought he wasn’t all that great a pianist full stop and the only reason for this is because he could read very little sheet music
Whatever the hell it is, it's beautiful. ❤ Freddie never fails to make me love him more
I love Freddie’s piano playing
He had a very Romantic, early Jazz sensibility to his playing.
I really like this song. The piano is so relaxing.
