The more i see other singers trying to do Freddie Mercury the more i realize that he is still unreachable, its not the the range or the power but there is something on the delivery that no other singer can match

Yeah, they are all good singers, but none of them even gets close to what Freddie was able to deliver both as an excellent singer and performer. Even when he became as sick as he did, he kept on going strong till the very end!! The live aid concert truly shows this. Despite being deadly ill, Freddie kept on to the very end.
True... but there is one i heard who comes close( Marc Mattel) but Freddy was not a singer but an artist one of a kind, so yes there is only one Freddy!
Can't compare to Freddie. He had stage presence and a unmistakable voice. These people can sing undeniably but there will never be another Freddie Mercury.
These people can sing but nothing like the only Freddie. Adam is the only person that comes close to Freddie, close vocally, technically energetically and artistically enough that he doesn’t ruin the songs and you can enjoy the performance in a way Freddie would command . Freddie was unbelievably special, I kick myself because I did not fully appreciate just how amazing Freddie and queen were in the 80’s compared to the way I do now.
Listen, everyone, Freddie wrote great songs. He was a terrific showman. A great front man. A wonderful singer. A rock legend. A unique personality. I’m a fan. But if we’re just judging voices, purely vocal ability, this Jordan Smith guy is every bit the pure singer that Freddie was, and even has superior range and pitch control. Check him out. Amazing. It’s just stunning how good he is. Also - watch George Michael sing “Somebody To Love” with Queen. Again, stunning.
I think Freddy Mercury would have been IMMENSELY flattered with all of these performers sharing their amazing talents with us all. My favorite by FAR were the 3 young ladies at the end.......... SIMPLY SUPERB, BEAUTIFULLY MAGNIFICENT, IT SENT CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE AND BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES🥰🥰🥰🥰 ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS LADIES ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exactly! But what struck me is that it took 3 separate voices and ranges to even Remotely come close to Freddie! They each sang their part superbly, and it took 3 to come close.
Thankyou to all who keep Freddie's music alive & relevant. One of the greatest singer's of all time & the greatest SHOWMAN ever. Still miss you Freddie & always will
They all have their own distinct voices and decent abilities, but they all do a good job of one thing, and that’s reminding us just how incredible Freddie’s voice was. Nobody else comes close
Jordan Smith hands-down the most formidable singer of the lot. Nobody else came close to his performance and singing ability. He doesn’t sound like Freddie, but cloning Freddie isn’t the point of paying tribute to him in song. He does however, sound freaking amazing. Undeniable chops and soul.
It is not only that Freddie and Queen could sing, it was the songs they wrote! So many songs and all of them wrote some and let’s not forget they all had college degrees. They were like a perfect storm.
Jordan Smith is incredible!! He's one of the only singers out there who can come close to Freddie Mercury (and definitely the only one in this group). I love his rendition of Somebody to Love!
Jordan killed it. Knocked completely out of the park. What I loved about his performance is that he wasn't trying to be Freddy. He did his own version and in spite of not being the typical tall, slender, good-looking guy, he delivered a very soulful rendition of this great song. Wish him all the best. He deserves it.
No 2 singers can “deliver” a song in the same way. Physically impossible! I hear Queencovers all the time. I like to hear the songs. Freddie had a “certain something” that only he with his physicality could have. Miss him like crazy. Thankfully there are so many great concert videos that help me to remember his greatness!

There’s only 1 FREDDIE . That man was AMAZING. His voice, moves, charisma and the way he owned the crowd will never be duplicated. Every time a Queen song comes on the radio you just have to move and sing with it. Freddie was magnificent and he is sadly missed.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
By all these artists we cherish the singing of Freddy and the band Queen.. I think they are doing an awsome job!! Respect for all of them. I really think Freddy would be so proud that his music is still embraced by us all. ❤😢❤
Great voices, but like the Great Robert Plant said at Freddie’s tribute concert “people are changing the keys to these songs because that just can’t do a Freddie” and no one ever will. It’s just not his voice, It was everything about him he was a whole vibe. When he sang he didn’t just sing he felt in every note and you felt in your soul.
I’m glad that someone else recognizes the incredible voices of the contestants. They, ARE, there in their own right. Appreciate them for who, THEY, are!
George Michael was totally channeling Freddie when he performed “Somebody to Love” at Freddie’s memorial concert (The Mercury Phoenix Trust, in 1992) even down to drawing in the audience to sing it along with him. He hit every note perfectly too. It didn’t hurt that Brian, Roger and John were doing the background vocals. Just them and Freddie could make it sound like a large chorus of singers, or as Freddie said, “It’s the Queen sound.” The rest of the stars who sang didn’t do as well as George. He got the audience up on their feet and involved. Amazing performance.
These contestants are talented and full of life however Freddie Mercury was and will ALWAYS be one of a kind. Great performance and showmanship to all the contestants who keep Freddie's songs alive ❌⭕❌⭕♥️👍

Luca was pretty darn good, especially for his age. I wish the thumbnail for Ava didn't also show Luca, it's confusing. Ava did have a cool theatrical stage production though! There will never be anyone to come close to Freddie Mercury. How a man as talented as him never won a Grammy still baffles me. I am just beyond thankful that I'm old enough and lucky enough to have seen Queen in concert. I was 9 years old, and it was my first ever concert. WHAT a first concert it was! Nobody I've seen since has ever come close to what I witnessed that day in July of 1982!
The three young Ladies at the end truly stole the show. Their harmonies were stunningly awesome. The other definitely deserve a standing applause but the difficulty of singing that song as a harmony and pulling it of so beautifully is absolutely Awesome.
The boy singing bohemian rhapsody was really good. He was really nervous you could tell. That is an incredibly difficult song. I couldn't imagine having to play that on the piano and sing with all that pressure. Once chairs turned around you notice how much better he got. It's relief. That's the thing about singing...it's incredibly hard to disguise your emotions. That will come with experience. Very gifted young man.
I’ve heard all of these covers before except the girls at the end. WOW. They are incredible and I love how they all conquered this song together. Freddie is proud.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" Queen (Freddie Mercury). Beautiful Song, delivered with Queen (Freddie Mercury); with inner feeling so intense and so emotionals yet beautiful. No one else, but Freddie and Queen. They are legend.
Freddie flew through the sky with the amount of pure emotional and physical commitment. It seemed he was consumed by the force necessary to put on the performance.
For everyone saying they cant match Freddie: that's why theyre covers. And there's a singer that can not only match him, but can exceed him. Freddie wasn't just a voice. He was a showman, too.
@DM Galgoci, @Christina B, The trio were two young women and a young man (he was standing in the middle). But you're both correct; they have great voices and amazing harmony.
That anyone would dare touch the voice of living and lost legend, let alone younger generations, reaffirms the phenomenal connection that Freddy Mercury & Queen fostered with such lavish showmanship and devotion is astounding. Each of the artists presented possesses a gift and delivery that would astound Freddy as Queen astounded countless millions worldwide. This gives me renewed faith and hope for a revival of singers and musicians who raised the bar so far beyond just a stage presence.
Luca was probably the less experienced of them, but for me, he was the best one. He has a very unique style but still you can tell he's Freddie inspired, so it felt like an homage.

When someone asks me about what do you do if you have a time machine I always say I will visit the Queen live show ...
These people are not trying to be Freddy they are just singing his songs. Lighten up.
And that's the best to do. Not to try to sound like Freddie.
Exactly!!!
The three young Ladies at the end truly stole the show.
Their harmonies were stunningly awesome.
The other definitely deserve a standing applause but the difficulty of singing that song as a harmony and pulling it of so beautifully is absolutely Awesome.
Totally agree!!!
Absolutely beautiful voices
I think the first one to sing was a boy, at the beginning, it’s written « Matteo »
jordan was the best
Freddie was one...nobody can be like him...his voice is the best forever and nobody can be the same as he...
First guy and last group absolutely killed it!
They all made Freddie proud! He is watching from heaven with a big smile 😊!
Hello Maria. How are you doing today?
You bet he is!
I remember watching Jordan's season, seeing him get better and better every week was epic. I absolutely loved it, so happy he won that season!
Jordan has an amazing range, wonderful ad-libs and just owns that stage when he's singing.
His performance was always blow your mind great. Always moving n dancing it was heartfelt and natural.
Nobody could beat him
Wonderful job Freddie mercury in our hearts you remain forever❤
I’ve heard all of these covers before except the girls at the end. WOW. They are incredible and I love how they all conquered this song together. Freddie is proud.
Jordan Smith performance was excellent I loved it!! Luca performance LITERALLY brought me to tearsssss😩 love this
"Bohemian Rhapsody" Queen (Freddie Mercury).
The last performance was EPIC! Those young ladies were playing a concert for all to enjoy!! I’m impressed by their young talent!
The first and the last were stellar performances. Simply amazing. Over the Top!!!!
Jordan Smith, such a talented young man! Would love hearing him in person with his own music and lyrics. ❤️
Freddie is just one of those artists that cannot ever be outdone. Just like Michael Jackson and Glenn fry and so many more.
Each of these singers in their own way , their own style which is brilliant. Well done to all of them 😀👏👏👏
Freddie had emotions in his songs... he really felt it when singing... when he sang mama... he really had shivers inside
Jordan Smith is absolutely a phenomenal singer! Love the hard rock version of I Want to Break Free by AVa
Heavy Metal* and yes, agreee
For everyone saying they cant match Freddie: that's why theyre covers. And there's a singer that can not only match him, but can exceed him. Freddie wasn't just a voice. He was a showman, too.
Yes. Adam Lambert is at least as great as the original!
Assim como Elvis e como Michael Jackson, Whitney e Tina Turner, Freddie é inigualável e inesquecível.
Najlepsza ekipa już tam jest!
Todos fallecidos,por desgracia!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🇨🇺🇨🇺🇪🇸🇪🇸❤️❤️❤️
I think Luca is the absolute winner. Both his voice and piano skills are worth of comparing to Freddie's. Great performance, congratulations.
And he has the same bite as Freddie 😂
And looks like him!
The trio of girls! Magnificent!!! Freddie will live on forever 💖
The one in the middle was a boy, though
For SURE!!
@DM Galgoci, @Christina B,
The trio were two young women and a young man (he was standing in the middle). But you're both correct; they have great voices and amazing harmony.
who won among them?
The choir with the first guy game me the chills
That anyone would dare touch the voice of living and lost legend, let alone younger generations, reaffirms the phenomenal connection that Freddy Mercury & Queen fostered with such lavish showmanship and devotion is astounding. Each of the artists presented possesses a gift and delivery that would astound Freddy as Queen astounded countless millions worldwide. This gives me renewed faith and hope for a revival of singers and musicians who raised the bar so far beyond just a stage presence.
J'adorais Freddy et quand j'entends ces chanteurs donner toute leur énergie et leur coeur pour lui je dis bravo
Nadine de France
Luca was probably the less experienced of them, but for me, he was the best one. He has a very unique style but still you can tell he's Freddie inspired, so it felt like an homage.
100% agree. The closest to being what Freddie Mercury brought. Both are their own but honestly Luca did a great job.
And looks like him
No one can sing like Freddie! I appreciate the fact they try, but there isn’t another Freddie Mercury…He was one of a kind! ‘
