I want to reply here in the hopes you can see my comment. You get a lot of comments so I doubt you would see it otherwise. I want to say I REALLY appreciate the breakdown of how you ev your mons in the beginning of the video. Idk if many others like that part of the video, but for me its the highlight. EVing mons is, imo, the hardest skill to develop in pokemon. Coming up with correct ev spreads is crucial and, as you alluded to in your amoongus and flutter sections, it can be the difference between winning and losing. Truthfully thank you for taking the time to explain this stuff. I greatly appreciate it. Keep up the great work and have a nice day!

Europe is somewhat infamous for using weird and unconventional strategies that the rest of the VGC community (vgcc?) isn't paying much attention to. It's kind of crazy how we're still considered a very strong region despite a lot of European players using dogwater mons and trying to find some use for them. Wolfey says something about this in the beastcoast Pokémon podcast episode that came out after this tournament back in April, I recommend checking that out for a more detailed post tournament report from him.
European players are crazy. One guy in the UK made the probably biggest gamble in all of Pokemon by using a bright powder sand veil garchomp and played some of the funniest games I've ever seen😂 If you type in "probably the luckiest game in vgc UK 2012" you'll find a masterpiece of tilt. They banned sand veil shortly after this incident😂

Look, with your hatred for Incineroar reaching comical levels + that badass intro and theme
You're actually making me like it a bit more you know
When you hate something so comically much that people begin to partially like it out of pure spite.
i absolutely adore the way you format these videos, it’s super cool how you explain everything about the pokemon you pick for your team one by one and the events that unfold in parts too
wolfey has joined the dark side, incinposting will be at an all time high
literally stopped everything and screamed "YES!!!" when he mentioned clawitzer 26:49 😭 the rollercoaster of emotions afterwards was so foul 🥹
Not long remains before the klawitzer rise, don't be too impatient
Love the renders so cool! Amoonguss the hero Always love the breakdowns you do bro. Can't wait to hear about the conclusion of the team next week!
22:00 I can hear him smile when he says “Flare Blitz and Knock Off,” that’s so cute haha
you just really know how to build a narrative. Every single one of your tournament videos is a blast. Good luck in Orlando!
He already won that tournament xD
@@exgardevior All thanks to my future comment, I'm sure ;)
Man you'd think I'd stop being surprised and impressed with just how GOOD these videos are, but every one seems way better than the last.
Thank you so much Wolfey and team
How does bro stay serious when he uses these analogies 🤣🤣🤣
Honey, I need to cancel our lunch date, a new Wolfey video just dropped
Turn that into a movie date instead
Completely understandable 🤝
18:03 this made my day :)
Yeah! It made me kinda giddy lol.
Wolfey *describes Amoongus as a pokemon who cant die in 1 turn*
Also Wolfey investing EVs in such a way he gets 1 shot by a move
Welp we gotta cut something.
He zaid it waz hard 2 do

Wolfey, I just want to say that these kinds of videos are so nice to watch and the effort that is put in is incredible! (Competitive and Editing wise) All the best from Germany!
Man I love these tournament videos! thanks for the effort and time you put into making these. Tough luck, especially with the resistence system and i'll be rooting for you during Orlando Regional!
so thats why jaiden made those faces in her latest pokemon animation were she was talking about seeing you battle on the big screen and looking like you were in a blender with a haxorus
When does this happen?
What video?
No that was referring to the world championships, not this tournament
I believe the Hatsune Miku one. Ofc I'm going off memory and could be wrong@@phantom-ri2tg
@@dolphinsniperiirc the Hatsune Miku one. I'm not 100% sure tho
YESSSSSS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO SINCE EUIC HAPPENED!!! I absolutely love your tournament content and craved it so much I joined the patreon, but this video specifically has been my most looked forward to for months. I followed the matches on stream, and it made me so excited to see the finished video that detailed all of your matches. I can't wait to one day see the video on NAIC and Worlds this year, and I'll be rooting for you while you're at Worlds in a few weeks!!
Commenting at 19 minutes into the video. I was so curious on how you got that Amoongus model so crisp like that. I love the amount of work put into this video already. Huge shoutout to everyone working in the background providing the art and animation and of course the editing of the entire video so far which is insane!
Since this video has come out searches for Flower Veil has hit an all time high.
...i love math. i also love every single ace attorney reference in your videos. especially the music (i LOVE tgaa and hearing the ost while you're explaining competitive pokemon is a dose of serotonin), though the psyche-locks on amoonguss's moves were also a nice touch.
I really love this team making sections ! They are soo cool and also show that you work very hard behind the scenes also !

Aint no way wolfey called chian pao a weasol. That's a snow leopard 😭
it's kinda both ish
It’s an ermine which, like a weasel, is a mustelid.
It's a monster
At the very least it's a feline. It seems to also be based off a saber tooth tiger
it's clearly a bird
Opposing Sun Team: *Menacing Aura*
Wolfey: Oh God I need to pee
It was an amazing video and had to watch all of it in parts! I appreciate when the teams are broken down and what roles that they play on the team! Love learning from a former World Champion and hope you keep creating more! 😄
Bro dropped at 1 AM. No love for the Aussie viewers.
Amen
It may be 1am but I'm still watching.
Sydney gonna Sydney. 😂
hello from melbourne!
Hahaha jokes on you guys I'm just waking up
Bro dropped at 5 pm here in germany, perfect saturday evening entertainment 😊
Ghost Trick music during the fluttermane segment was surprising. Nice taste editor
Ghost Peak
Amazing job with this video! Watched the whole thing across a few days. Can't wait for the sequel!!
Omg, I never knew you all recreated an entire lighting engine and modeled the 3D Poke'mon used in the videos. That's an insane amount of work, respect to your team!
i cant think of another youtube channel that consistently uploads 2hr videos AND i consistently watch them all the way thru.
thank u wolfe...
((thank u editors!!))
These high-production, narrated tournament breakdowns are by far my favorite stuff you put out. Great stuff as always!
Babe wake up, Wolfey talks 18 Minutes about the depths of his Amoongus.
I really love this theory parts of your videos. I don't really like to play competitive Pokemon but I really love the whole theory behind it.
This might be your best video to date. It’s legitimately an emotionally compelling work of art. You and the team are doing a fantastic job!
I am so happy and proud of you wolfey. you’re amazing on and off the field
I would say "I love math," but I would be lying and I can't do that in good conscience.
Wolfey, you are my biggest inspiration. Everyday I wake up, I check for a new video from you. You make my day so much better and you're really nailing content creating as a whole. Thank you for everything ! ❤
Thank you! We post every Saturday at 11 am eastern if that helps you check :)

Honestly really appreciate this video as someone just recently getting interested in playing pokemon & learning about how to battle & teambuild strategically. The breakdowns and explanations of everything are super helpful
The incineroar/fluttermane speed check combo was the most genius thing I've ever seen in anything competitive ever.
This is one of my favorite Wolfey teams. Seeing you destroy hard trick room at Orlando despite your only TR Pokemon being Amoonguss (who’s weak to psyspam and is blocked by magic bounce) is one of my favorite sets I’ve ever seen you play just for the precision
Incredible breakdown of the team comp, and amazing work to your editing team!
0:57 I can't believe this whole time Wolfey was only using a mere fraction of his full power
