Fatality unlocked the 2nd phase of the Final Boss

I can really see how your training paid off. Not giving away stage control as much and slowing the pace really helped. However Ultimate really is in the era of counter-picking. Byleth really shuts down your offstage menace with one move. Overall good stuff never a dull moment watching you play.
It was a very thoughtless move to go offstage when he did there, and getting punished for it immediately

Leo often lived well over 100%
Also Fatality always gained massive momentum when landing early kills.
Was it a gamble? Yes
Thoughtless? No
@@ngotemna8875 chasing byleth off stage is not the only or easiest way to get stocks and even if it's sometimes safe to do, that situation seemed very thoughtless

Bruh why would you stay Pyra Mythra when you know they’re terrible off stage? They’re so easily countered by Falcon. So technically Leo was already counter picked from the start. Also Falcon and Byleth have a pretty even match up. It’s whoever can close out stocks the fastest. Nothing methodological about it.
You forced him off the twins. A win in my book.

Not gonna lie I thought you were gonna get destroyed like in some of your previous encounters with Leo but you put up one heck of a fight that looked close

I don't think this was exactly easy for MkLeo.
True that, forcing a switch from the best player in the world (from one of the most overpowered characters in smash) while using Falcon is truly impressive. Which is why we all love Fatality! Lol

@@KradDrows Sure -- in order to prevent future wins. If you win a close game, but you have a limited amount of mix-up or deeply-ingrained habits (such as combos) with that character, it's reasonable to believe that an opponent that adapts well will have learned enough about how you play that character to earn a win the next round. So, you switch to force them to have to learn a new set of patterns, so that they can't use what they just learned to their advantage.
This tournament is some of the best I've seen you play.
I saw it live and thought you had a really good chance against Leo.

This was one of the most impressing showings I’ve seen from you. Not only were you against Leo, but just the matchups themselves are difficult for Falcon. You truly do make him look like an S tier character.
Your new playstyle looks like its working pretty well! You were basically one nair off from beating his Aegis in the last game. Keep it up!

My favorite part was the part where Fatality was showing that he was clearly playing better, but Pythra said "Naw. You don't get a combo, because uhhhh ya know. *turns invisible*" Very cool. Pythra players are cool people and they're definitely good players.
Set was actually very close except maybe from last game where some Leo stuff happened. But other than that the rest of the games were super close. Being able to go toe to toe with the best in the world is a huge feat.
Tbh this is the best I have seen Fatality play. He didn't let his emotions get in the way, no dangerous edge guards, fought against the disadvantage of Byleths massive sword, very well. I would say kudos, you could have won against maybe any other player, Leo does not make it easy

Awesome showing! Both players were definitely in overdrive with DI and micro-spacing. Really something to see the best player have to switch off the best character just to get matchup advantage. This is what we call a taste of what's to come.

I just noticed Captain Falco is basically lighter/faster Ganon, maybe with less dmg/knockback power. Or maybe it's the other way around, Ganon is a slower version of C.Falcon.
The thumbnail is funny. But it's pretty ironic to think that people probably do the same face as Fatality when they're against him in pools.
