Leo is the king of reverse sweeps. What a great set, my favourite match between these two players. Wanted to see Leo's Joker in this mu for a while. Never doubt the GOAT, the Joker was super clean, very glad it's back.

He changed the difficulty level to demon mode when he chose joker. MkLeo is the kind of guy you're not allowed to relax in the advantage phase, because that's when he's most dangerous.

Too high maintenance to play at top level consistently. Plus people figured out the joker matchup a while ago, but now that his Joker has been gone this gives him a chance to capitalize on lack of top level practice against the character

What a great set considering that this is just to qualify for top 8 losers' side. Leo is making the Joker-Cloud matchup look pretty decent for Joker, which makes sense if Joker can get the right angles to make optimal use of his quicker speed. Sparg0's Aegis counter-pick was interesting, and I'd love to see more Joker-vs.-Aegis play from these two. Frankly, Sparg0 usually plays Aegis better than he did here. I know that Aegis's recovery is considered not very good, but *usually* from watching Sparg0 play Aegis, you usually wouldn't know. This time, however, his recovery was really buggy, so I'm going to guess that he was playing nervous, or something. He lost his first stock in SD, doing a nair for some reason instead of snapping the ledge. The second stock was more an edge-guard than a pure SD, but still Sparg0 was still maybe not going for the snap in the best possible way. And the third stock was just a full SD. So maybe there is more potential for this counter-pick than the result would suggest. I wish these guys played every week, but as it is we usually have to wait quite a while between Leo-Sparg0 matches. Not even sure when they'll next be in the same tournament.
Leo’s reads & thought process were 90% right but his execution is not what it is when he’s well practiced as if he cared enough. He just did enough to beat Spargo. Spargo got a little greedy and held forward a lot. Leo, Tweek & Light will eat that shit all day.
