What is it with players having Kirby in their tags and never playing Kirby?
With fatality, the first 2 rounds are about knowing your opponent and their patterns in a fight. After that, there’s usually no way you’ll best him.
He’s like a saiyan getting stronger after each fight and during the fight.
Those first two games where some of the best gameplay I’ve ever seen with Roy.

Such a good use of raptor boost those last 3 games, chasing him down with an explosive combo game and enough patience in neutral. Also fatality was very aware of some sneaky options in disadvantage, nice stuff!
Anthor thing about that raptor boost is normal it wouldn’t be safe since most players would shield or jump away, but hyperkirby has been throwing out well spaced f-tilts and down tills all set which quickly put him back in advantage when they land. Fatality noticed this and so answering with raptor boost was like “ok if you’re not gonna respect the hyper armor on this movie then I’ll keep doing it.” Win!
Hyperkirby beat Sean while Fatality bested Hyperkirby here so what does that say about who's the best?
And Sean has so much experience playing with Goblin, another top Roy. Probably has more experience in the matchup than Fatality at this point now.

@@theproperenglishman you want conclusions? Aight bet. So they've been at like what? 4 or 5 tournaments and Fatality has outplaced him in all of em. The only time they've ever tied was at CEO 2022 and Sean had lost to two people Fatality had previously beat. WaDi and MVD. Fatality even got top 8 at DreamHack Atlanta while Sean got 9th losing to Peabnut. Another player Fatality previously beat but at a lesser tournament. If we're talking who's the best, its def Jogibu right now this season but i could see Fatality reclaiming the title if he's motivated to go ham like he did post pandemic in 2021

So is it HyperKirby or Mugen? It's confusing af with these commentators, wish they'd just stick to one name as I have no idea who they're talking about.
His Smash 4 tag was Hyper or Hyperkirby but throughout most of ultimate until last month it was Mugen. So while he changed it back to Hyperkirby the commentators are probably just saying Mugen by accident because that’s who they know him as.
