Gary Come Home was Actually used in the Episode, it was in the credits for the episode 👌

@@duckenjoyer619 They used the same visuals for the credits (same background, same font, same colours, etc.) but instead of the usual instrumental theme, they played "Where's Gary?"

Great video, Vail! Love it, keep up the awesome work. My favorite deleted SpongeBob song is the Monday Song, this song would have been better to keep in Sponge out of Water than the rap battle scene at the end.

Good video as always. Also, the song Where’s Gary appears on the SpongeBob album the best day ever.
I *LOVE* Where’s Gary? It seems so upbeat and happy but you can hear the despair in Spongebob’s voice over losing his beloved pet at times. It can hit hard if you really think about whilst listening to it, and Tom Kenny did a fantastic job performing it.
Especially with lyrics towards the end like ‘now my life’s just an empty shell’.
The original opening theme makes Spongebob more different than the main theme song that we know today.

Cool Fact: I think the instrumental of the pilot theme song was used in that one episode where Spongebob and Squidward have to pick up trash around town.
It was used in the title card for Hall Monitor and a scene in For Here Or To Go

"Where's Gary" was never intended to be in the episode. It was made specifically for CDs like "Under My Rock" and "Employee of the Month". It also played in the credits of the episode when it was first released apparently.

what about humpback hop?( i know it's not deleted) but you can't find it on the internet, the composer Theo Mondle has a website but it hasn't been active since 2011 the episode is 'Party Pooper Pants' and the episode rarely ever airs so the song is rare, but at the same time Theo Mondle lost the song since it was made back in 2002, which is now 17 years ago, which is a bummer because it was a really good song :(

The original SpongeBob theme song (SpongeBob Action Theme) was used in the show a couple times, so it wasn't *exactly* deleted.
My grandfather has a copy of Spongebob's Greatest Hits and my little kid brain thought for a while that Where's Gary was the song that was in the episode, not Gary Come Home
While Where's Gary IS on the SpongeBob's Greatest Hits CD, and was most likely written for Have You Seen This Snail, the first release of the song actually predates the Greatest Hits album by about three years, being part of the tracklist on SpongeBob and the Hi-Seas: The Best Day Ever in 2006. Which, by the way, I owned The Best Day Ever CD when I was a kid and I'd do anything to have a physical copy again

Thank Gosh it's Monday was only used for the 'International Day of Positivity' a year before spongebob: SOoW was released. You can still find it on the spongebob movie RUclips channel
