    These conversations are much better than normal shootouts because with these conversations you can understand which bike really fits you. I personally believe that all bikes are really good but because of so many variations and kinds of riders( lever, height, weight etc) is really good to know the details

    Yup that Yamaha platform since 2023 is very hard to beat in stock form, and all bikes are expensive.
    I love my yz450f 2023 and wouldn't change it for anything. But i am curious to try the 2025 updates.

    I agree with you guys. I have 5 hours on the 2025 Honda CRF450R and the biggest issue is the soft suspension. Once I stiffened up the springs, you could feel how good the new chassis is.

      @@jpesicka492 says a tester who can probably qualify for a national. past Honda's were too stiff. so did we drop 3 spring sizes? if so, fine, it would be too soft. but most vet guys lap times are well below pro class times... senior guys may find the bike just right.

    52:12 what dealer is the one you can’t speak of? Now I’m curious. What kind of practices could be so bad that we shouldn’t buy a bike at this unnamed dealership?

    All the advances in these motorcycles over 20 years of technology don't mean a damn thing on the trail 😤... The two bikes I came up on while riding the Rubicon were of the last two years of production... All of the magazine reviews of my 2000 CR125 made it an actual turd... But the motorcycle manufacturer industry cannot entice me to buy their new machinery for as long as I've owned this bike😅 I've read all of your reviews... They're entertaining!

      @tcmx712 11 дней назад +2

      Of course it doesn't make a difference on the trail, these are motocross track bikes

    • @greg042
      @greg042 10 дней назад

      @tcmx712 as someone that has a lot of bikes new and old, the differences are not as great as you think. Many people think the 2022yz 450 is better than the new bike in the handling department. That's strictly an opinion, but both ClubMX and Star use a swingarm off a 17 450, among other things, to calm it down.

      @@HailMich Not stock man. LOL. and I have a KTM with a KYB fork and man it's a great bike but some people don't want to spend another $2K on suspension which I get and therefore the Yamaha is a really good choice.

    • @HailMich
      @HailMich 2 дня назад

      @@jake981 I’ve owned bikes my whole life at least 10 new ones and plenty of used ones and the new KTM are far superior then Yamaha. The 2 stroke KTM is light years ahead of Yamahas. The 4 strokes are little closer but KTM seem to handle better and be a touch faster. Now I’d take a Yamaha over Honda or Kawasaki and definitely a Suzuki but at the track there is always 3-1 KTM then any other brand.

      @@HailMich Oh I agree with you man! I just got a new GG from the 23.4 KTM as they're my favorite bikes overall. Once you put a spring fork on them they're amazing. I was just saying that they are expensive and the YZ seems like a solid choice to just buy a bike and ride. LOL.

      All I know is the dirtbike world is changing all around me, but the 90's were the best time to race. Today all the bikes are very good and ride very similar. I have a 2022 450 Yamaha after buying a new bike every year since 1979, and I can say that the new bikes since 2011 or so really aren't much different. I bought a YZ 125 this year and parked my 450 in the barn. I'm slower on it, but it's much more fun than my 450. At 65, I am into just having fun today
