Paul has always taken things to heart and personal, which is how he was on the show and with his own son, he also had his say about what Jay leno said ruffled his feathers too and takes every criticism as a personal attack
Build off rules should include the following; 1. The bike must be completely custom from the frame up. 2. There should be an equal limit on spending agreed upon by both parties 3. The end result needs to able to be ridden as a daily. 4. Paul can't yell at anyone 5. The bikes are both raffled off and the proceeds go to a charity of the winner's choosing.
No... 5. The bikes are raffled off and the proceeds are split evenly between two charities of the two builders choosing. This then removes any monetary or conditional recognition from the build, preventing either from doing things under the incentive for monetary gain for their charity choice. Even playing field. “I did my job. The customer didn’t say he wanted the motorcycle he bought to be in working condition.” - Paul Tuttle Sr., probably I hated when someone compared the Geico Bike to the Mona Lisa. Basically saying, the Geico Bike is “art.” Here’s my problem with that comparison: The Mona Lisa’s function is to hang on a wall to look at it… imagine if the Mona Lisa was painted in a way it couldn’t be presented or shown. Then the Mona Lisa wouldn’t be “functional.” But no… the Mona Lisa is on a frame and hung correctly. Sure the Geico Bike could be considered an art piece, but, at the minimum, the main location the Geico Bike should be presented is on the road as a functional motorbike.

Indeed. I have owned two bikes from occ. got one cheap the other in a sailboat trade. They both had the same issues. Not rideable, no power, useless fuel tanks. He called my dad daily and explained what was going on he told my dad certain things he would not do at all because it would ruin the bike. He had a slow quality build process and 22 years later I ride the bike often. Larry made practical things his own and Paul puts parts together to look good. You will never find Paul saying hey let’s not do this it will make the bike ride like crap. I also remember Larry being very humble and not taking more money from my dad. My dad offered more money sometimes to do something or because something ended up costing more than expected and Larry always said no it’s alright I’ll get it done. Larry also called my dad monthly after the bike was delivered to check on things. It was a totally different world than what occ delivered. And Larry even sent a binder with photos of the build process with the bike.
It's like the Frank Gehry building designs... they look nice but leak like a sieve. Pretty, but non-functional. I am not too sure many others caught onto the joke opening either. Everyone is just pointing fingers at the cameras and "yelling at each other".
The first video you did on OCC was pretty much a bash fest. I actually assumed they sucked after that. Glad Paul responded and you gave some more insight...
OCC bikes are well KNOWN to be crap. Period
In all fairness They are art Beauty in the eye of the beholder
@@robertharris1972”art” or not, in the end they are building motorcycles. A a vehicle must work, run, (comfortably is suggestive). If it can’t make it 20 miles without breaking down, throwing a belt, ect then it’s high priced junk.
They went bust which says it all really……

Just got looks …not for riding
I started my RUclips channel because of Bikes and Beards. So, I'm all in with Sean. Win it Sean!👊🏽🤣
“At Bikes and Beards: we don’t Make the Orange County Choppers - we make the Orange County Choppers… BETTER!”
He say's I BUILT...Not we built because he didn't build it
I don't recall him doing much building at all, just slamming the door to go and angry sook for the camera in his office.
He's a me me. No team in his life. Worst kind of person.
Biggest narcissist on the planet. He couldn't even get along with his own blood.
I hear that
But this is known as an occ motorbike
So he is technically the builder of the bike but not one who assembled or fabricated it
I guess I could see that being a fair take
He behaves like one of my middle school students-only the worst type. The kid you get every few years. I can’t believe how child-like his reaction and statements are! I thought the show was a bit of an act. This guy is a narcissist and a child.
NONE of the OCC bikes made on the TV show were built to be ridden....THEY WERE BUILT AS MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES!! Companies sponsored a build to have something built with thier name on it and then be seen by 20 million viewers when the show was at its PEAK. To say that all bikes are made to be ridden is absolutely not true....ESPECIALLY in OCC's case with the television bikes. To expect that is completely WRONG. The biggest issue is that Paul Sr cannot accept this either....that when Jessie James called them "Cake Decorators" he was 100% accurate.
But every episode I've watched they always ride the bikes on the road when finished 🤔
@@simonrayner74 they have to look like they work, thats not uncommon. with stuff like this even cars, some of the coolest looking customs cars have like 4cyls in them lol just so they cam move
The fact that you keep sporadically writing in caps makes everybody question your mental stability.
@@simonrayner74 I didn't watch 100% of the episodes but I have seen most of them and cannot remember a single time where anyone on the show claimed their products were unrideable trash-builds that just looked amazing. Not even anything close to that on top of them all being "ridden"...
Leave the man alone. You are full of it.
“I’m not criticizing Paul “ while literally making fun of him with the hat, glasses, and sleeveless shirt. 🤣🤣🤣 classic!
Haha I didn’t even pick that up! That’s great!
@@MadBashRC He should make some Orange County Chompers tee shirts to honor the man who is all mouth.
Paul Sr. acts like a teenaged girl. Just because he has big arms and tats and a goatee doesn't hide his inability to control his emotions and insecurities.
You never dissed Paul or orange county choppers, one single time! He's trying to ride the wave and steal the limelight from your video!
Thanks for the great content man!!
Sean: how does this bike start?
Paul: YOU DONT KNOW ME!!
Haha
You can't expect a civil response from a man that treats his sons the way that Paul senior does .
I used to watch OCC, but I had to stop because of the way he treated everyone around him.
Same. I didn't last too long after Paul Jr. left the show. It hurt watching the visible pain in his soul on screen. Paulie was a phenomenal builder and the best talent OCC had. All he really wanted was his dad's approval and some positive reinforcement that he was improving. Even Mikey looked visibly wounded watching them fight and split up.
He probably treated them that way because he was treated that way when he was young. I've seen this in other families including mine. I don't want to get too much religion into this conversation but he needs to find healing in Jesus. He can then find peace.
@stevenleslie8557 lack of love especially in the first 7years will do that! Sadly 😥💛
I found and subscribed to your channel because of these videos and I thought you were respectful in the videos! Paul Sr probably didn’t even watch the whole series of videos and he’s just going on what the people around him are saying and watching clips out of context and we all know he’s known for being a hot head! Keep up the great work man!
Never argue with an idiot. They’ll just bring you down to their level and beat me with experience.
Mark Twain was a smart man!
Plot twist, the other guy isn't actually the idiot. =-P
I am just kidding but I have heard idiots calling others idiots.
Yeah they'll just beat me off with experience
Try inventing your own quote instead of copying other ppl. That's been ran into the ground already
@@daviedood2503 My saying is Never argue with stupid people because they are too stupid to realize they are stupid. Not sure if anyone else famous ever quoted that line first but it's what I have always said.
Paul Sr. And narcissism. Name a more iconic duo. I'll wait lmao.
Paul Jr and unresolved daddy issues
Pizzn me off. The man's name is Gary Goodell not Gary Geico. I have known him since before he started working for Geico. I did video work for Geico. I have never heard anyone call him Gary Geico. I seriously doubt he was one of your best friends if you didn't know his last name. RIP Gary, you were a great man.
i can assume he stated "gary geico" cause he probably forgot his last name.
Only his bros called him Gary Geico.
Most don’t even know GEICO is an acronym. It stood for Government Employees Insurance Company

Dude from a viewers perspective you totally ran down Orange County choppers after watching your videos. I thought I would never ever buy one. Sorry you’re getting called out. Lmao
Paul Sr. should just say I dont build functional bikes. They are art pieces for collectors, who dont actually ride.
100
Indeed. I have owned two bikes from occ. got one cheap the other in a sailboat trade. They both had the same issues. Not rideable, no power, useless fuel tanks. Batteries always dead even though hardly anything using power. I don’t hate Paul for doing what he did for years. There was a demand he made money there is nothing wrong with that but he takes everything so personally. I am lucky enough to now own an Indian Larry bike. I will say when my dad ordered the bike in 2002 directly from Larry Larry builds bikes to be ridden and ridden hard. He was great.
Best description ever lol "bikes for people who will never ride bikes"
That was basically his explanation for the Geico bike. He said it wasn't meant to run. That's craftsmanship right there!
@@alanluscombe8a553Indian Larry only builts like seven or eight bikes so that's pretty amazing that you got one🎉
A custom bike that isn’t dialled in, means it’s an incomplete product…
That means it's just a pile of parts.
It's like the Frank Gehry building designs... they look nice but leak like a sieve. Pretty, but non-functional. There's an episode of Northern Exposure about a beautiful Swiss clock, but it's crap at keeping time. I guess it depends on what you're after... an art piece, or a motorcycle. Some people can do both, but maybe not OCC.
100 grand for an unfinished bike. Maybe they could hire the pimp my ride gang
I mean, that's kinda what OCC did and does lol the only difference is that OCC builds it from the frame to "finish" (because I doubt any bike they build is actually finished) and PMR customized an already existing vehicle.
@@RWBprototype still funny though

Like Jesse James said, OCC are just cake decorators.
They made advertising for trade shows. Most were never meant to be ridden.
I remember the build off he had with the Tuttels and JESSIE JAMES said his bikes were built to ride ! Paul sr and Paul jr bikes were built to look at !
The bearded mechanic is the most humble dude ive seen on the Internet.
So im an ASE certified master tech and also worked on motorcycles. I used to watch OCC and i could have told you years ago that all their bikes were doodoo. I felt bad for Greg with the amount of effort he poured into it.
