+1 used to do the rides out of Boulder when 7-Eleven team would show up. I wound up loving mountain biking and raced for years norba. And wonderful things like Pearl pass and back from Aspen to crested Butte the next day. ♥️ JT, Tink,Ned, Julie furtado Susan dematte so many wonderful rides.
So happy to see this j mart your an absolute dog man you always were. you left your mark on motorcross forever yoj dont have to worry about that. Rumors always swirled that you were a beast on a bike actually beast mode himself said you were this was more theb impressive hope you keep rippin the hills reppin the troll . Thank you martin brothers
Thanks for highlighting the importance of cycling in the motocross community. Not many riders seem to talk about this. This, along with the Diaz brothers, got me into cycling, and it's been very important to my fitness and sanity.
Wow, 48th out of 1,750 entries! Nice job JMart! My husband Michael and I miss seeing you (and your brother Alex on the AMA pro circuit), but you nailed this and I'm sure all of your fans are as impressed as we are.
Curious how much Johnny T gets recognized at a race like this. Dude was my hero as a kid. Can still hear the Tioga disc drive echoing like it was yesterday
@@crowe9385right? Crazy to think that he gets recognized by moto guys now more than in his own world. Getting a Coke from a running (in cowboy boots) John Tomac is possibly the best thing ever.
Watching this as I sit infront of my PC with 4 slices of costco pepperoni pizza and soda saying "fuck that" repeatedly throughout this video. These guys are crazy fit and mentally stronger than that. Respect
Congratulations! Crazy fast time! Looked strong right to the finish. And having John Tomac on your support crew is just awesome - love that guy - an absolute legend!
Good luck on the recovery for Moto! This is one of the most impressive efforts I've seen. With Tomac out next year, I know who I will be cheering for! Thanks for the inspiration!
Jeremy! Bro, great video man. Wow! Pro-motocross rider and now mtb racing. Congratulations 🏅at Leadville. Wishing you much success into your next adventure. 👍
You two brothers & Eli are my favorite riders & I've have been following y'all for most of your professional careers. The 7:07 time was a fantastic time for your first one. I bet you made up good time on the downhills sections, after racing the downhills sections of motocross at lightning speed.
Hell yeah, Ive been looking forward to this video! Nice job Jeremy, hell of a ride! If you are free in November and you have the itch for more MTB, come to Michigan for Iceman - biggest party in the woods in the midwest!
The Martin bros are an absolute hype! J mart is an animal and an absolute inspiration there’s a reason why he’s a 2 time national champ Martin bros rock!
Nice work Jeremy! Funny that Coke is still great during such events, despite the plethora of excellent nutrition and hydration choices now. Loved this!
Leadville is such an insane MTB race and going 7:07 on your first attempt is absolutely mental. You fricken animal. Hope this scratches the itch and you do more events.
Would love to see the whole discussion in the beginning of the video between the two Martin bros talking about gels and Jeremy's carb plan. Super cool stuff.
Congrats on an impressive race. To do what he did with the little bit of experience he has is just mind blowing. A friend of mine raced it a few years back and he has raced for many years and he just barely finished. Tough race.
Dude has so much grit! You can't teach that stuff. Fkn badass athlete. Both of them and so cool to see the brotherly support. Starts with the parents and they have em. Congrats to the whole Martin family 🙌
Congratulations Jmart. What an outstanding finish. I have raced about 5 mtn bike races in the Clydesdale class lol. Don’t laugh to hard at 6’3” and 240 it fits me well haha. Most races were at ski hills so definitely some climbing. Tough sport definitely lots of mental game. But what you put together is pro level very happy for you and Alex
I’ve done a few Mtb marathons (Merida series) back in the day here in the UK……so I know how it’s a world of hurt, but that altitude in the mix, sheesh! Well done J-Mart, awesome performance. Loved seeing John Tomac the legend telling you to get the group in front, you can retire a racer but not the racer inside eh, haha!
Really curious if we'll see Jerm on the track again. Amazing video, love to see the grit and the passion Jeremy has and everyone around him has. Great work all around
Way to go JMart , the seat starts to kill my ass after 30 miles so l head back to the barn when l do my training rides , lm 62 but still race A class harescrambles . You my friend l have rooted for since l saw something in you racing nationals , here's to you in your future , please stay healthy & rubber side down 👊 🚴♂️
Dang I would have went if I knew you guy's were there. I'm the vertically challenged guy that was talking to you about your footpegs at Lakewood a few year's ago. That elevation is no joke. Cute moto track in Leadville be a hell of a spot for some training. This was fun, probably because it's in my backyard, sick edit.🤙🏁
Awesome - and what's equally impressive is Jmart's running abilities, with a 1.15 half marathon under his belt. Hey Jmart, get some swimming going and sign up to qualify for Kona!
@@TrollTraining i pulled my plantar fasciatis 1 week before, i got no sleep the night before the race due to pre race jitters and then i had GI issues after mile 52 . I still finished the race and got my buckle. It was my first 100 mile race and i plan to go back and do sub 25 lol
That's insane AF, absolutely crazy, just barely over 7 for first time, crikey, that was the course record when I did it 17 years ago. Just a bit of a correction on loss of oxygen at that altitude, it's more like 20-25%, it's crazy, even the step up from around 7k ft to 10k is insane - my max HR at the time was around 190bpm and because of the altitude, I couldn't even reach 165bpm
I used to live in Leadville in the mid 1970's, We had a motocross track about 5 miles south of town east of the highway. I rode that track almost everyday that the snow would allow ....usually April til end of October. Motocross at 10,000 ft is gnarly....lol....we raced twice a month...I don't understand why mx racers don't train in Leadville or Buena Vista.
I know you and your brother inherited your dad’s height but I’d sure like to see you try an enduro or GNCC like pops rode. Awesome video! Does Eli ride/race any of the mountain bike events? Thanks for posting. I kick myself for growing old.
Put me firmly in the camp that thinks Jeremy should put his full focus into MTB and his well bieng. He's such an amazing athlete with nothing left to prove in moto & Id love to see him have a great second career chasing those 47 guys in front of him. Well done to both Martin brothers
Race I wanted to do from Australia and BC bike race Sebastian vettal just did a race Lachlan morton flatted 😢 hoping Aussie would have taken a win Can support have wheel swaps
Feel so bad for this guy. I hope that he either quits racing or jumps on the 450. That 250 class is TOO brutal for him at this point. Also, really don't want to see him get hurt anymore!
Super impressive J-Mart! The legend John Tomac being there to support you speaks volumes
Thanks J-Mart and Big Al for repping the Moto community in a sea of mtb people
Tomac said on the Pulp show that you smoke him on a bicycle when it's longer than a sprint. Also said you're the strongest cyclist in the sport
Isnt he " some Guys" dad>>? LOL. Met me HERO JT in 1997 (World cup mtb / NORBA). Eli was a 4 ish lad.. Freakin Genetics man..
Yep and a super good dad helps .

The Martin Bros are the fittest brother duo in the game!

I’d take the Lawrence’s for the win

The top Moto guys are the absolute best athletes on the planet!! J-mart is a complete savage! Thank you for representing the sport
Awesome job JMart and John. It was really cool Papa Tomac was there to help and support. What a legend!
Such a great video! Keep em coming!
Very well done video. Way to go Team Martin!

Was that John Tomac with the support team? Good job Jeremy.
Had to be, thought same thing.
Yes, it was.

I watched while eating a pile of sechzuan chicken and rice, steamed dumplings and 2 cans of Coke and a couple fortune cookies lol.
You can do it too brother
I'm watching it on my toilet with my legs falling asleep saying "fuck that" also.
Congrats J Mart! Rad video. Thanks for posting and sharing! I live in CO and am a huge MTB and Moto guy so always cool seeing this stuff.
Heck ya! Have you ever considered or done the Leadville 100?
Congratulations! Crazy fast time! Looked strong right to the finish. And having John Tomac on your support crew is just awesome - love that guy - an absolute legend!

Nice work Jeremy! Funny that Coke is still great during such events, despite the plethora of excellent nutrition and hydration choices now. Loved this!
Absolutely awesome to see how this unfolded and to see JonnyT in there helping is so cool. Get Jerma to Park City, UT for Point to Point next!
Leadville is such an insane MTB race and going 7:07 on your first attempt is absolutely mental. You fricken animal. Hope this scratches the itch and you do more events.

the brothers martin full of gritt, both winners and very succesfull in the sport, shows how fit you need to be for moto pretty incredible!
Hope to see Jeremy back racing if he wants it. Fans of the Martin Bros no matter. Get it!

Well said! Very cool that you've done some longer races yourself 👌
You gotta keep the tire beads down in the wheel channel and it'll go right on! Good to see ya satisfying the competitive desire!
Really curious if we'll see Jerm on the track again. Amazing video, love to see the grit and the passion Jeremy has and everyone around him has. Great work all around
So gnarly. Big props 🤘💪🏼🇺🇸
I’m an off-road guy and those #USWE hydration packs are the best in the business

Going into this race with barely any prep and finishing 48th is wild. Jmart is a physical specimen 🤯

Awesome - and what's equally impressive is Jmart's running abilities, with a 1.15 half marathon under his belt.
Hey Jmart, get some swimming going and sign up to qualify for Kona!
7 hours that's actually insane. Great representative for motocross.
Best of luck J-Mart
unreal JMART ! such a fkn badass
I remember throttle twisters being some of the fastest guys around on a a bike. And not just downhill. They're fit.
Wow. Impressive.
Brian Fisher would be proud!
I was trying to figure out who he reminded me of..thanks😂
Nice finish! I didnt do the mtb race but did the 100 trail run the week after 😂
That is wild! How did it go for you?

cool video
Man Ive wondered for a long time what Eli tomac could do in Downhill racing… I bet he’d be so gnarly.
You’ve got to start at the opposite end of the valve stem when putting in a tire. It goes on by hand then

Thanks for the video Alex! JMart is a beast, has he ever considered GNCC in his career if SX/MX isn't in the cards with the concussion trauma?
Maybe jmart needs to try a gncc I think he would like it
Would love to see J-Mart do the full lifetime grand prix next year
I know you and your brother inherited your dad’s height but I’d sure like to see you try an enduro or GNCC like pops rode. Awesome video! Does Eli ride/race any of the mountain bike events? Thanks for posting. I kick myself for growing old.
awesome seeing tomac with the coke hand off and encouraging jmart to keep racing forward.
You should check out Carbs Fuel! They make 50g carb gels and a drink mix that packs 75g per serving. Also the best carb to dollar gel at only $2
We spoke with them at the expo 👌

Well done to both Martin brothers
So is that our answer for Supercross going forward? Not back to Club this year? :(
Try a Enduro or DH race! The big bikes are where it's at!
Very cool 🇺🇸👏
I have the most upright repect for both JMART and AMART positive tough sobs
You guys kill it haha meet me under the bridge I’ll be troll training hard

So, the doctor said you can't hit your head anymore. So, let race mtn bikes lol!! Cause you never hit your head doing this.

Honestly, that's fucking crazy for a non-cyclist. Shows you genetics are a real thing.
A motorcycle road racer finished 11. Ben Bostrom, 6:57:12.29 11/1239 . 7:07 would have netted you 17th place.
