He just won entertainer of the year at this last country awards show... and he was blown away.. He was like Alan Jackson when he won. I don't entertain.... I go out and sing my songs to an audiene.. I remember Alan winning years ago... he said Garth is an entertainer.. I just sing my songs. I've had the pleasure of seeing Garth and Alan in concert.. loved both.. totally different but amazing... Chris never even gave a thought to doing this. His wife talked him into playing on stage. She told him he had to share this gift of his with the world. If you notice when she is singing with him he is usually looking at her when he sings because he is so shy and it helps him to forget that all eyes are on him.
