You hit in on the head Britt "it's a delight to listen to his voice" please react to "MORE OF YOU" (Tiny Desk Concert version)..really beautiful duet with his wife
The earth is 4.5 billion plus years old and we are fortunate enough to be on the same timeline where we got to experience Chris Stapleton's greatness. I am thankful for that as well.
True story: Chris was studying to be an Engineer but decided to move to Nashville and give Songwriting a try. In the Studio where he wrote he came across this lady who also was a songwriter. Chris remembers that one night, not much songwriting got done between the two but something else got done if you catch my drift. They've been together ever since. She is not only part of his creative process but she was the one who convinced him to get in front of the mic and I am glad she pushed him. He is very shy and gets stage fright and often he won't perform if she is not with him on tour or even up on stage with him.
He is quiet a little shy but he has never had stagefright. That is internet B.S. They have children. He has performed many, many times when she couldn't be there because motherhood took priority. He was singing with the Steeldrivers before they met.
My husband and I spent 25 years in greater Seattle. Then in our 40’s decided it was time to escape and left everything we knew to move to NE Tennessee to be with my family. I feel this song on such a deep level. ❤
MY wife and I did the same thing. Born and raised in San Diego we left when I was 36, my wife was 40 back in September of 2000. We went to the Nashville area and never looked back!
Chris Stapleton made a song called Daddy doesn't pray anymore it was in Yellowstone it was fantastic and then I went and listened to the whole song highly recommended
My favorite song by him so far! I’m so glad you loved this. We are all blessed to experience him! Try the acoustic live version of What Are You Listening To. Awesome also!!😊
It's really interesting to watch his interviews. He is such a humble guy and gives his wife all the credit for what he does. There are several interviews with the both of them and they talk about the teamwork of making the music. I keep seeing mentions that he has stage fright, but have never been able to find comments to show that to be true. I did hear him say in an interview that he enjoys performing and he did comment in an interview with Kix Brooks that on nights that he just isn't feeling it vocally, that he looks at Morgane and draws strength from her.
Four summers ago, I lost my son, and I caught this song one evening. I live in Kentucky, where Chris is from. I listened to it and dropped a comment about how Ben had really liked Chris's music, and how that I was going to have to start over, but didnt know how. In true Chris Stapelton fashion, he responded back. I saved that message, that to me spells out exactly who this man is. Bless him.
I love your reaction to this song of Chris Stapleton. He arrived at your soul with his voice and his music. He is one of the greatest artist of our times, for sure. This is my opinion 😊
The blues can range from rock&roll to country and everything in between you're absolutely right that Chris Stapleton is solidly blues and thank God he's played in country stations
This is a cool presentation. Watching the making of a hit and the kind of socializing, collaborating, conversations they have in a session just throwing it together so casually. It's what they do and they are very good. You can tell Chris thinks deeply about things in life and he can build a great song around such simple phrases and principals. A true artist and master at his craft.
They do a really beautiful version of You Are My Sunshine. VERY different from the way I think we've all grown up singing and hearing it. I absolutely love it.
😂😢,They are artists that can make you laugh & cry in the the same tune they sing❣❤the whoo🎶whahoo🎶like a train,So Dig it & his & her vocal abilities- ✌y'all &🤟🎶.😊.
I understand your love for him. I fell in love with him like seven or so years ago, when I heard a song of his for the first time. I've never heard a Chris Stapleton song or performance that wasn't amazing. He can do no wrong in my mind.
Blue and Country have been intertwined for hundreds of years. Both genres borrow from each other as well as honor each other... We are blessed to have both.
I am living for your Chris Stapleton reactions! I thought I knew a good chunk of his songs, and I’ve never heard this one before. I enjoyed reacting to it with you☺️❤️
Leslie Jordan sang with Morgane and Chris Stapleton not long before he passed. It was actually very touching and sweet. She took more center stage with Chris singing in the background. I think you'd like it! Church music! 🙏
Yes! You get to see the adorable Leslie, hear Morgane's wondeful voice solo & then, as another commenter put it, "watch Chris stand there with his hands in his pockets while he burns the room down."
A new discovery in this type of setting is the Great/Late Chris Cornell. Chris was like Eddie Veder (Pearl Jam); the voice of the 90’s. A part of many successful groups, including one with Eddie. And, Chris will be in The Club. Please react to: Nothing Compares to You (from Sirius)….A Beautiful song written by Prince. RIP to both Legends.
If you want a great storytelling song, check out Texas in my rearview mirror by Mac Davis. Fun fact: Mac Davis also wrote a huge hit called in the ghetto which was recorded and sung by Elvis Presley.
Great reaction!!! He also performed this song on the CMA and its a different take. Just him, Morgane, and his guitar - its so sweet - you'll love it!!!!
Chris Stapleton - Fire Away w/ Official Video and Brad Paisley - He Didn’t Have to Be and Waitin On a Woman. You’ll enjoy them, keep up the great reactions.
Hi Britt, it's me again😁 You are my favorite reactor on RUclips thus far. Shockingly not one person on RUclips has reacted to this music video that's been out for 2 years now and I want you to be the very first person to react to it. It is called hour of change by Jordan page. Promise me you will react to it, even if it's months from now, whenever you get the time. Please and thank you very much🥰🥰🥰 God Bless!!!
You gotta do his song "Millionaire" next. The lyrics hit hard and Morgane sings with him on that one too. Absolutely beautiful song with a great message!!
Since you love his vocals I think you’d also enjoy Marcus King. Check out his song Side Door on Jam in the Van. Wildflowers and Wine, Goodbye Carolina, etc
Check out his song with Justin Timberlake called "Say something" That was done on one take and it was amazing!!! I never imagined seeing him and Justin colab, but that song and the other time they sang together live are my favorites. Also, please react to Blake Shelton Nobody but you featuring Gwen Stefani and his song God's Country. He's amazing and got his start in the early 2000's and has gotten better and better. Love him.
You should listen to “Death Row” and “Either Way”. Also “What are you Listenin’ To” is just him and his acoustic guitar! You can’t go wrong with ANY Chris Stapleton reaction!
This song feels a lot lighter than many of his songs but I think it is intentional because it's about the lightness of leaving the past behind and moving on to a new adventure.
Love the authenticity of your reactions. His wife is Morgane and apparently is an integral part his musical process (for lack of better way to describe it). I have seen some interviews where they jointly speak to this issue. Interesting...and they also find time to raise 5 kids. (Applause!!!) P.S. He currently collaborates with a wonderful young singer/songwriter Joy Oladokun on a duet called "Sweet Symphony", which she wrote. It is a wonderful R &B kind of feel, and the two voices together make you "sit up and listen"...at least for me. A couple of different versions of video/song are on RUclips. ✌️
want to hear a couple more panty-droppers? "Your Man" live at the Bing Lounge, "I Was Wrong" live at Austin City Limits. Or go way back to Sandy Beaches Cruise 12 when he still looked kinda like a nerdy young guy who just left those bio-medical engineering classes behind. Listen to "Ain't No Way This Love Is Wrong" & "Fool Me Again." He could always bring it.
Chris Stapleton’s Traveller debut album (which he co-produced with Dave Cobb) had received its 13th platinum certification from the RIAA the last I knew. As a highly acclaimed songwriter, Chris has penned over 190 album cuts for other artists. He wrote or co-wrote all but two of Traveller’s 14 tracks. I recommend this live version of the title song from that first album… as much for the captions that tell some of his story… as for the excellent quality and intimacy of the performance by Chris & Morgane. ruclips.net/video/E2M0PNa-dzg/видео.html The title track of that debut solo album (Traveller) was inspired by some soul-searching in the desert. "My father passed away in October 2013, and [I] had a single die around the same time on radio, so I needed a little head clearing space," he recalled. "My wife had the presence of mind to know me well enough that I needed that. She bought me an old jeep out in Phoenix, Arizona, and we flew out there and decided to drive it home." "Along the way, just driving through the desert, I was thinking about life and how we're all just passing through it and that's what the song is," Stapleton continued. "So, as I was driving, I was humming lyrics into my phone and wrote the song then and there. Somewhere in New Mexico, probably, that song was born."
Just discovered you recently and spent half my work day watching your videos. Opps, my bad boss. You need to check out Leon Bridges (Beyond or River). Dude walked straight out of the 60's. BTW you are gorgeous!
If you love husband and wife teams please please please check out the War and Treaty you WILL NOT be sorry. Soul gospel, country,r+b with a backstory that is movie worthy and in the works. Love u reactions❤
You owe it to yourself to listen to IT’S JUST A MATTER OF TIME Official Video by Randy Travis. It’ll make you melt. Love your channel and attitude about discovering this music!

Well put 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻

You should hear her singing lead with Chris singing backup. They do "You are my sunshine" and it's goosebump inducing.
Where rainbows never die... Chris Stapleton.

I love that Britt loves Chris Stapleton. And she does!!
His NPR Tiny Desk series is a must, just him, guitar and Morgane. Miranda Lambert did a good stand in for Morgane in a CMA performance of Maggie.
You need to see how effortless he sings in fool me again
The blues can range from rock&roll to country and everything in between you're absolutely right that Chris Stapleton is solidly blues and thank God he's played in country stations
I learned this song to teach my niece how to play it. It totally spoke to me.
Look at all the hits song’s he wrote and other stars sang & made big hits!
Yeah Britt, I hear you, Chris and Morgan are exactly what music should be......
Chris is definitely one of a kind, amazing singer, writer and guitarist.....LEGEND already
Britt- Starting Over is one of my fav Chris Stapleton songs. I was able to see him in concert in 2021. He put on a hell of a show.
If Britt's husband is smart, he'll make sure he's home on the days she reacts to one of Chris' videos. #pantydroppin!
My fav of Chris on lead with Morgane harmonizing is Amanda. Fav with Morgane on lead is You are my sunshine.

OP... His voice transcends through you. Nothing that he sings can you NOT feel to your soul. Generational talent!!
So far this is my favorite Chris Stapleton performance, and I heard it here first. Thanks Britt.
One of my absolute favorites of his is titled Joy of My Life.

Chris Stapleton - I Was Wrong . And, you're welcome 😁
He sang "Just say I'm sorry" with Pink. Later she did an interview and stated that Chris was a "two take wonder".
Since you love his vocals I think you’d also enjoy Marcus King. Check out his song Side Door on Jam in the Van. Wildflowers and Wine, Goodbye Carolina, etc

Devil always made me think twice is must listen to by Chris Stapleton!
Maggie’s Song by Chris is Awesome!!!
BLOW is a song by Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, and Bruno Mars! It’s a rock song and they don’t even seem like they are rockers. Give it a try.
When he starts playing the guitar it reminds me of Tom Petty's Wildflower CD check it out you'll love it.I love Chris
You should listen to “Death Row” and “Either Way”. Also “What are you Listenin’ To” is just him and his acoustic guitar! You can’t go wrong with ANY Chris Stapleton reaction!
Listen to the steeldrivers. It is a bluegrass band that Chris was a part of before he went solo
