It’s perfectly reasonable. If you see a house on fire most people’s brains are going to notice that and not the broken streetlight. Out brains have gotten to this point by being able to subconsciously rank order a set of objects
Adele said his voice is "honey over gravel". That's as good a description as anyone has given. And the lyrics! Another one with wonderful lyrics is "What Are You Listening To." So, so good.
I don’t care if your a man or a women this will bring tears to your eyes cause he’s got so much passion and grit and he will pierce your soul with his voice
Just a quick note, he is singing and playing this live version at least a half step ABOVE the original recording.. which the original is out of most singers range to begin with and then just ripped this version apart.. the words rip me apart.. I'm living through this now and this song kills me..
Just found your channel tonight, and had never heard of Chris Stapleton. That first high note had me sit up straight up in my chair. Who the hell does this guy think he is, and why is he actually him? Respectfully. Damn
Saw him at the world chicken festival 😂 in London, Kentucky in 2013 before he was known. There were only a few of us in front of the stage when he started, but by the time he finished half the town was crowded around.
His voice is a soul’s cry. It’s drags every drop of emotion out while simultaneously filling it right back up. And that guitar is his ladle, stealing everything away and then serving it back up the way it’s intended to be served to one’s soul.
Absolutely! The same song done on Kix Brooks’ show is stellar as well. He also did Willie’s The Last Thing I Needed The First Thing This Morning. He and Willie are the only two singers that EVER need to do that song!!
Since you like Chris Stapleton you ought to give another Chris a chance. This guys name is Chris Kläfford and he's done an amazing version of Tennessee Whisky during his Kitchen Sessions, I promise you won't be disappointed EDIT: He's also made a wonderful version of Imagine, but if you react to it do the Kitchen Sessions version rather than the ATG one, the Kitchen Session is the whole song while ATG is just a sample of it.
Do yourself a favour and us lol and react to Chris singing fool me Again. It’s an oldie and he’s just sitting down on a chair singing his heart out like he’s just having a conversation. Lol
There's an older video of him doing "TheThrill Is Gone" on acoustic guitar (in a small "guitar jam session") that I think you would love. It's on RUclips. Sorry, don't have the link handy. Take a listen, if just for yourself. 🤔✌️
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Funny ,for what you say, there a song that describes your analysis. By "Luke Combs" Song is 🎵 Doing this🎵 You gonna love this one, too. Keep the good work, Sunshine 🌞 ☀️
I'm thinking your local Friday night bar bands will not be trying to touch this song. His voices goes places I don't think any other voice can go to. It almost feels like he's a quiet person off stage, and his vocal cords are yearning to be noticed.
Man jusy had enough and just gave up and said it doesnt matter anymore. That relationship is over and no repair will fix it When the perosn you are with gets to that point its best to leave It takes alit to get most to that point
I stopped watching you cuz you talk way too much.. but when I saw it was chris Stapleton I decided to take a chance BUT YOU RUIN YOUR REACTIONS BY TALKING WAY TOO MUCH.. LAWD!
It's amazing how many persons look past the depth of these lyrics because of the power of Chris' voice.
I had my phone muted and still heard him😮
It’s perfectly reasonable. If you see a house on fire most people’s brains are going to notice that and not the broken streetlight. Out brains have gotten to this point by being able to subconsciously rank order a set of objects
Agreed. The only thing heavier than his voice, is the lyrics of this song. So dark and heavy and real.
Adele said his voice is "honey over gravel". That's as good a description as anyone has given. And the lyrics! Another one with wonderful lyrics is "What Are You Listening To." So, so good.
I agree, that is one of my favorite songs of his.
S,honey over gravel!
I love when he is singing with his wife. Even when he was on stage at the CMA’s with Justin Timberlake he was looking at her for most of the time. ❤❤❤
A great performance by Chris and a great reaction Britt 💙
Chris sings from the depths of his soul. And then he let's his guitar do the same. ☮️
One of my favorites from Chris... So powerful
I don’t care if your a man or a women this will bring tears to your eyes cause he’s got so much passion and grit and he will pierce your soul with his voice
Unique!! Him and his acoustic guitar are gentle on one’s soul.
A man 👨and his guitar 🎸 That guitar sounds like more than one instrument 😂
And his abilities as a songwriter is unbelievable lyrics and musicality🔥
It's like bein hit upside da head with a Crown Royal bag fulla rocks....velvety smooth and gravelly at same time.
Just a quick note, he is singing and playing this live version at least a half step ABOVE the original recording.. which the original is out of most singers range to begin with and then just ripped this version apart.. the words rip me apart.. I'm living through this now and this song kills me..
Chris Stapleton can sing the phone book he’s just that good, so rear these days ,thanks for playing this beautiful song ❤❤❤
Just found your channel tonight, and had never heard of Chris Stapleton. That first high note had me sit up straight up in my chair. Who the hell does this guy think he is, and why is he actually him? Respectfully. Damn
Love this song and Chris
Saw him at the world chicken festival 😂 in London, Kentucky in 2013 before he was known. There were only a few of us in front of the stage when he started, but by the time he finished half the town was crowded around.
Lucky indeed
Your gota react to him singing barely alive...so amazing...and him and his wife singing Amanda
Good job young lady, Millionaire, Friendship and What Are You Listening To are very good also
It is...who he is...and we are eternally greatful...❤
He's a got a scramjet for a voice. When it's at Mach 4, it really gets to do what it loves to do.
His voice is a soul’s cry. It’s drags every drop of emotion out while simultaneously filling it right back up. And that guitar is his ladle, stealing everything away and then serving it back up the way it’s intended to be served to one’s soul.
That was perfect..I hope your a songwriter
Thank you! Please do his live version of “Whiskey and You” from his Tiny Desk appearance. It is another gut wrencher, but raw and pure and amazing.
Absolutely! The same song done on Kix Brooks’ show is stellar as well. He also did Willie’s The Last Thing I Needed The First Thing This Morning. He and Willie are the only two singers that EVER need to do that song!!
Yeeeeesss
Whiskey and you
One of my favorites from him, listen to can you run-steeldrivers
His voice might be described as crumpled crepe paper. Light and nice at a point then crumpled when needed.
Since you like Chris Stapleton you ought to give another Chris a chance. This guys name is Chris Kläfford and he's done an amazing version of Tennessee Whisky during his Kitchen Sessions, I promise you won't be disappointed

Found out about Chris, before he went solo. A band called the Jompson Brothers around 2011. That was a fantastic group!!
Church, you said it.
You are exactly right. He wants people to feel all emotions.😮
Your loss of words says it all! Love it!
one reactor called him a"beastly angle". I'd love to see you react to "Fool me Again"
Like grains of rice sliding over one another... Smooth and satiny, but with a definite grit to it.
100% agree.
It's like chocolate molten lava cake with a scoop of ice cream.
The "microcosm of my life" song...this one will gut ya.
Sooo awesome. He is incredible!
He's like sand paper and ice cream 🍦
Good Lord it’s Britt Reacts 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That's his soul.
Do yourself a favour and us lol and react to Chris singing fool me Again. It’s an oldie and he’s just sitting down on a chair singing his heart out like he’s just having a conversation. Lol
Check out him doing Man’s World. He was in the audience and the band asked him to do a song with them
Great reaction as always!
His voice is so angelic!
There's an older video of him doing "TheThrill Is Gone" on acoustic guitar (in a small "guitar jam session") that I think you would love. It's on RUclips. Sorry, don't have the link handy. Take a listen, if just for yourself. 🤔✌️
He claws his way into your soul.
Velvety Grit. That's how I describe it.
Love all of his music but Death Row is my favorite 😅
Such a good song:)
He plays by ear. He says he doesn't know what notes he is playing.
🤩🤩😍😍

His belt is capn crunchy bc its sharp it will cut you up when he hits it.

This is one of the only songs that i prefer the studio version.
It’s like pain…
There’s a much better version where Chris performed on the Charlie Rose show.
You should really react to anything by the teskey brothers, I could listen to you react all night long.
I think the word for his voice is penetrating. I’ll just leave it at that.
Man jusy had enough and just gave up and said it doesnt matter anymore.
That relationship is over and no repair will fix it
When the perosn you are with gets to that point its best to leave
It takes alit to get most to that point
velvet with a little bit of gravel eh?
please do death row or sometimes i cry
Its not the texture word its the quality your trying to say
Impressive and velvety lol
Kendell Marvel cowrote the song with Chris. This is his version. ruclips.net/video/LhDezpsdsnw/видео.html
I love teddy swims but his version ain't shit compared to chris' lol
You picked the absolute worst video of this song to react to. Should have done the live on Charlie Rose version.
I stopped watching you cuz you talk way too much.. but when I saw it was chris Stapleton I decided to take a chance BUT YOU RUIN YOUR REACTIONS BY TALKING WAY TOO MUCH.. LAWD!
Chris Stapleton sing with his soul 🙏He is amazing 🙏
