Found this in an article about Chris: Chris Stapleton wasn’t always going to be a musician. Born into a family of coal miners in Kentucky, far from the bright lights of Nashville, Tennessee, he was a high school football player. Stapleton actually enrolled in Vanderbilt University to study engineering, when his prolific songwriting habit led him to leave for Nashville. Upon arriving in 2001, he quickly picked up a publishing deal for his songs and began fronting various bands.
This is my favorite of his. The vocals at the end of the second verse are incendiary. Such a blues tune. B.B. King would be proud. Chris is without equal. You do a fabulous job, Britt Reacts! Thanks for your insights, as always.
My favorite live performance of his on YT. Displays both the voice along with the incredible guitar playing abilities. Shoutout to those other 2 members too, they played their roles perfectly to mesh with Chris.
I am a 60-year-old rock and roll guy. Chris Stapleton is my favorite current musician in the world. His talent is just ridiculous and to top it off he's a A+ human being as well. He deserves every bit of success that comes his way.
Britt If you want to be blown away watch Chris when he was in a band called The steeldrivers... Not sure of the years he was with them but it is in true Chris fashion. Be safe from Florida
There’s literally no one that can listen to Chris and not have a stank face while doing so lol. He’s INCREDIBLE live. He and his wife Morgane are great together. And the band been together for yeeeears. It’s wonderful to watch live.
I LOVE that you're on this Chris Stapleton journey. I also wanted to give you a quick shout-out. You have MANY reactions released daily, and it gives us (as the viewer) some variety. Thank you for all the awesome and free content!
He is a once in a lifetime singer/musician and songwriter...He's the man!!! Wow...he has pure God given talent and mad skills vocally, as well as making that guitar sang...they are one! HE IS MUSIC!!! He connects to your soul with his! Love his whole vibe...emotions, passion, rocker grit, vulnerability and authenticity. It takes a "real" man to be that vulnerable and honest to admit he was wrong and willing to do and say everything, whatever it takes. to rectify that wrong to win her back!!! That's love!
This is one of my favorite songs from Chris. The blues in it and the lyrics. Mmm dang it. Great reaction Britt! This one of them. He in the club for a reason 😂
Chris is simply a magnificent talent. I enjoy the natural sound of his electric guitar. He normally uses a Fender Jazzmaster electric. He uses Gibson acoustic guitars. 😊
Brit you need to do sometimes I cry by Chris Stapleton at the Bing lounge!! You wanna talk about soul and emotion. Girl your in for a treat Better being your hydration your going to need it!!
If you want to hear him play some rock. Listen to The Jompson Brothers- on the run. If that song doesn't make you feel like an outlaw and pump you up, you need to check your pulse.
Ok you want to watch his live performances which sound better than his recordings. 1. Live impromptu performance of It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World 🌎 2. Sometimes I Cry 😢 live at the Bing Lounge 3. I Was Wrong live at Austin City Limits 4. Cold 🥶 live at the 2021 CMA 5. Hold On duet with H.E.R. at the CMA’s I think 2020. 6. I love watching your reactions. You are correct about his many genres. Bluegrass The Steeldrivers. Rock& Roll The Jompson Brothers. He brings Soul & Blues to everything he does. Try "Fool Me Again" its an older song of his.
Ultimately chris stapleton is, singer songwriter and compose, He's in the same vein as Elvis/ The beatles/ Prince /Michael jackson Garth brooks, Stevie wonders. He's a musical savant..
If you want Chris the rockstar, you should react to The Jompson Brothers. It is a rock band Chris was the singer and guitar player for. They only made one album together but it’s 🔥. Also, the bass player for the band is Chris’s current bass player, JT Cure. Chris was also the singer and guitar player for a bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers. They made two albums together that are amazing.
He's simply a once in a generation talent! He transcends genre's ❤
💙💙💙💙💙
Because he’s from The South. If he was from LA, it wouldn’t be the same. The best artists & bands, come from the South.
@@user-er8kz2jg6oidk, Merle haggard seemed to turn out alright

You really will not find a single bad tune by the guy. His talent is exhausting
Lmfao. It truly is. I’m exhausted after listening. My face is. My throat it. My emotions are. Haha
@@TheYoguiMonster i listened to his song with H.E.R. and ugh that was ridiculous for sure.
You're so right. Several distinct genres in one song. Funk, blues, country, rock and naybe a bit of Hendrix, ZZ Top and Prince all rolled up together
He is making that guitar sound like it begging too! Love the reaction ❤❤❤❤
Your description "This is what regret sounds like, over a funky beat and a crazy electric guitar" is straight fire.

Chris plays & sings in the key of G-Spot!!
One of the best quotes I've heard, "this is what regret sounds like over a funky beat".

Fantastic modern blues song that is already being covered like a standard. So stylized it just evokes a strong response and even more in person.
It looks like an electric guitar? You are too adorable. Chris's voice is next level greatness. He's special. Thank you for reacting to this song
Yes, I freaking love this song! How talented is he?! And you are correct, you cannot watch this, without some stink face and a shoulder roll😂🤷♀️😎

I recently had an MRI. I hate MRIs. The thing that got me through it was the Lord and Chris Stapleton singing to me through the headphones.
Oh YEAH!!! Going to see Chris in a month!!!!
If you want to hear his rocking then listen to his song Arkansas
Yes ❤️🔥 always and not give it a second thought 💎💎
Checkout The Jompson Brothers song On the Run, Chris Stapleton was the lead singer before he went solo and Blew Up, it is 🔥

Joy of my Life is a John Fogarty tune Chris re-did.🎙😎👍
Chris Cornell covered Prince on Nothing Compares to You. I'm sure you'll dig both those tunes.

Not gonna lie, the way the video lines up with your coat rack and hat…tripped me out 😂
Chris's guitar isn't an instrument, it's his back up sober
Chris is coming to the Country music Fest here this summer, may have to play roadie and help set up and be stage side
His song "whiskey and you" is just amazing. Soul touching..❤
Never stop a song in the middle of a solo
That's not rock and roll girl that's the BLUES

Fire reaction girl 🔥
With that hat in the back ground, I thought Mr Stapleton was standing right behind you.
Queen of the stank face. Great reaction
Ultimately chris stapleton is, singer songwriter and compose, He's in the same vein as Elvis/ The beatles/ Prince /Michael jackson
Garth brooks, Stevie wonders. He's a musical savant..
the question is, will she take him back after that song. Bluesy, funky, and even rocking out.
No joke. I thought of The Beach Boys a little during that final guitar solo. Transcends genres.❤️
You need to see his cover of James Brown's "man's world". He just jumped on stage and sang it! No rehearsal or anything!
Another reaction video said he "Channeled B.B. King" during that song.

Lmao. Rock star my ass!! He channelled B.B.King for this one.
His soul though oh my
Best review of this song, well done
No. He didn't sound like a baby. He's a man and explained his feelings.
Britt great vids. Smoken look. Chris Stapleton scar crow in the garden. Keep it up.❤❤
Give a listen to some of his work when he was with the Bluegrass group The Steeldrivers.
He's one of the only artists I can play and not want to skip a song, alongside Alice in chains, turnpike troubadours and Tyler childers
This one blows me away every time ❤️🔥
He goes off in this song....
He has that Memphis Blues/ Mississippi Delta feel to his music. Fire! Pure Fire! Was the singing better or the guitar? Crazy good.
He wrote this song and Cold, too.
If Britt's husband is smart, he'll make sure he's home every time she finishes reacting to one of Chris Stapleton's videos.
Watching your face during this video it is evident why Chris is the President of the PDC. Lol
Thank you for introducing me to this song; and thank you for taking a drink from the jug on camera.
Bless ya girl!!
His guitar was SAANNNNGGGIIINNNN
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss "Please read the letter"
Three great ones, Chris, Haley Reinhart and Emma kok.
