Chris Stapleton and a few others came at a time that country music fans needed cause it was turning into pop music. I love old Luke Bryan but he is my prime of example of “hey what a…what direction you heading here Luke.” I speak for me and my states only country station here in Connecticut. I wish I can shake this man’s hand.

Someone else suggested Fire Away and I absolutely agree, but you need to do the official music video, which highlights the message of mental health awareness. That's his only song I'd recommend the video over a live version. Tissues nearby for that one! You said you wouldn't be surprised if he started rapping ... there's an interview where he talks about Snoop Dogg being one of his influences, because his music was so real. His influences are so widely varied! I've seen him in concert once and I saw his tour dates for 2023 posted and he's coming back through my area, so I'm doing a happy dance while I wait for the tix to go on sale next week!

He paid $300 when he bought that guitar. He had to pick mud out of the body and reneck it. It's a 65 year old Gibson LG-2. It's been his primary song writing guitar for years. He wrote this song after a childhood friend lost his battle to cancer. Good people gone way to soon.

This is a great Southern Rock performance. Just another example of how he can play anything with soul and heart in it.
