Hi U-Taste! I am binge-watching all your mochi videos. Thank you for making such straightforward videos that are easy to understand. I notice in this recipe you substituted the butter with vegetable oil. Are there any differences in the final result in terms of smell, taste, texture or shelf-life?
I wonder if that type of peach is just very firm or if it was just unripe a tiny bit. When they were dicing it, it almost sounded like dicing an apple. I don't think I could find a peach that firm where I live, and I never see white peaches even though they are so beautiful.

@@u-taste yes i do! it’s currently winter right now where i live , however i still cannot get the mochi to hold a continuous stretch, it stretches while its hot and i leave it for 2-3 minutes and it becomes thick and hard to stretch, impossible to roll out and so frustrating to work with! any tips??

@@jamesw5858 try to wrap it with plastic wrap if you are going to leave it for a while. And try to knead it soft and stretchy with the stand mixer.

Maybe it's because the ratio of wet & dry ingredients. It should be 1:1, if the total of dry mixtures 200g, the total of wet mixtures also 200g
