SUPER easy to make your own pumpkin puree just get some pie pumpkins, slice, take out the seeds, flip it in a rimmed baking sheet with water. Bake for 40 min on 375. Scoop out the "meat" and puree it in a blender or food processer and put it in qt freezer bags and freeze. Simple and CHEAP.
I made this for Thanksgiving, and it was FANTASTIC! I used the full two eggs, including yokes, with a little extra arrowroot powder. Skipped the honey, used a monk fruit blend instead, with a tablespoon or so of agave. 😋🥧🧡
Hello, from Alaska! Just made this last night and let it sit over night. WOW! This is sooooo good! Do not need the crust at all. A little sugar free whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top and you will be a happy camper!
Wow, this is what Ive been wanting, pumpkin pie is my fave. Just found a almond flour crust. Ill try it both ways & see if I can do it with out crust.....but I dont know. I will use 0 cal sweetner, no honey. The smoothy looks Good too!!
You may not like this idea but it's quick & works great - separate those eggs by cracking it then dripping the white through your fingers, thus leaving only the yolk in your hand. ❤
Optionally, crack into a bowl and be sure the egg yoke is whole, the pick up with hands. Be sure fingers are a little separated to drop off whites. Either way, hands are the quickest way. Just don't crush the egg, keep the hands firm and slightly curled but not tight. And be sure there are gaps between fingers to help drain the white from the yoke.
I use an egg separator to separate eggs. It makes it so easy, and you should be able to find one in any store that sells kitchen equipment. I have never used any other method.
I’m glad you shared that protein shake I’m definitely gonna use your code and order hubby & I one when I get paid I can’t wait to try it!!! Oh I also saved this video in case I decide to make this pumpkin pie one day ❤😊
I plan to just make my filling using the regular pumpkin pie filling recipe and sweeten it with munk fruit sweetener. Watching for the baking temp and time you recommend. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Seperate egg yolks? Find a water bottle that you can squeeze and it will return to it's original shape, instead of just crinkling up. Crack your eggs into a shallow bowl, squeeze the bottle, place the mouth of the bottle on a egg yolk and let the pressure off of the bottle. The vacuum will suck the yolk into the bottle, without breaking it. Flip the bottle upright, squeeze and repeat.
Hi Myra, thank you for the pumpkin pie recipe, I'll definitely be making that this weekend. Btw, about the protein smoothie, how the taste like? Is there any aftertaste from the stevia? I have tried stevia in the past, it has a slightly bitter taste because of the stevia. I was hoping that Flavcity has a smaller pack for new customers to try his products before commit buying the big bag.
As for your protein shake. Almond milk has no protein and I know it's only 30 calories per serving but if you want that extra boost of protein try non-fat Fairlife Milk. It's only 80 calories per serving with 13g of protein and it's lactose free like Almond milk. It also has a good shelf life like Almond milk and tastes like real milk. BTW big fan of this recipe. You have any other pie recipes like this?
@LowCarbLove my daughter showed me a trick with separating the yolk. Crack the egg into a container and Use an empty water bottle to suck up the yolk and it’s super clean and easy. You will be amazed and love it !
Is it crazy to think you could use regular yogurts and not use the honey? Or use cottage cheese instead of the Greek yogurt? I'm asking because I have a huge issue with Greek yogurts
Thank you so much for this i love pumpkin pie but healthwise can't consume all that sugar been thinking a lot lately about how to make it so i can eat it,!
I am a diabetic and would love to finally have Pumpkin Pie at Thanksgiving for the first time! Can't cook or bake. Can I use liquid egg whites instead of trying to take out the yolk? If so, how much would I use. If not, I will try to get rid of the yolk.
For me calories: yogurt 90 Pumpkin 175 Egg beater 25 Cornstarch 11 Swerve 0 Vanilla 0 Pumpkin spice 0 So for the entire recipe is 301 That is way under 100 a serving am i forgetting something?
Hi! It says in the recipe "3/4 - 1 cup powdered allulose"...would you use a whole cup or? Also, I have powdered Swerve. Would that work? LOVE your vids and recipes!
@@LowCarbLove 😀she’s always teaching me something from tiktok sometimes I worry when she says “I saw this on tiktok”🙈😂😂😀 btw I am making this tonight. Im so excited lol
I tried doing a crustless pie and when I tried to slice it and put it on a plate it fell apart before I put it in the plates. Slightly embarrassing. 😂. I think yours will fall apart too because there’s nothing to hold it together
You didn’t put the measurements… I mean we can clearly see how much you are using but would be nice to have exact measurements stated or written down 🤗
What’s your favorite pie? ❤️🥧
French chocolate cream pie😋😋😋
It is also known as French silk pie
Pumpkin
Sweet potato pie. But I can't have that anymore. So it's cheesecake with pumpkin pie.
Pecan
Chocolate bourbon pecan pie

I use a slotted spoon. Same idea, though.
Yes I agree with you on the vanilla extract purchased at Costco… it tastes too weird. I actually returned it and got my money back.
I love how you explain things in detail & your voice too! 😅🤩
Team both apple and pumpkin!
Love that your recipes are low carb low calorie and low fat! Just what is needed for keto weight loss
I took some leftover '20 calorie cocoa' cookies I made the day before and crushed them to make a crust for this recipe. Turned out so good
Great idea
If you have the time, making homemade vanilla is SO easy and SO good.

That coffee protein drink would be great for camping!

Tupperware has a egg yolk separator. Works great!
I put in some cream cheese, that makes it taste like sweet potato pie.😋
Yum! Great recipe and perfect for fall ☺🍁

Wonder how beef gelatin would work instead of xantham gum.
Thank you so much for this yummy pumpkin pie

I don’t really care about the crust, so this is good.
Promise you will love it 😊
Just wondering, if I wanted to make a chocolate version of this, how much cocoa powder should I add? I have natural cocoa powder for refference.

The liquid egg white ratio should be on the back of the carton.
I looked in the description I don’t see anything about the measurements of the ingredients?
