I’m still not receiving new hair growth :(
Is it because I’ve been using this once every other week for the past 6 months instead of once per week? Another idea I have is using it at 1.0 - 1.25 mm most frequently out of the needle lengths for around 4 months and might try 1.5 mm soon

    • @brandih4882

Try doing it every other day, And then add either Rosemary oil or medoxanil afterwards. Let it sit on your skin while you sleep. Hope this helps

Replace it. It gets dull after some time. Also hate to break it to you, Microneedling alone doesn't do xhit. It will though improve Minoxidil's response, or improve absorption of topicals like Dutasteride. Donr waste your time only microneedling. Add something

so what's the point of having adjustable height needles if you aren't breaking the skin any significant amount anyway? are you actually pushing the needles into your skin to get hair to grow?

      NO

    • @ghostrecon3834
      @ghostrecon3834 7 месяцев назад +13

You should definitely wait at the very least 6 hours before applying anything after derma stamping. Recommended is 24 hours though. The only thing that’s really okay to apply immediately after is hyaluronic acid serum as it’s non-irritating and really nourishing for skin.

The following is just a Tutorial how to recover your hair, without surgery, which doing so has helped me greatly getting my hair back.
      Hopefully it helps.
      Please note:
➡️ If your hairloss is genetically predisposed, ergo your direct parents have balding genes, or balding is in your family genetic pool, then it's going to be harder for you, although not impossible.
➡️ If your hairloss is stress related, or any other thing not related to genetics, then it's going to be easier for you.
1️⃣. First thing first, blocking DHT.
DHT is touted as the main culprit of genetic hairloss. You can block it, or decrease it, with dutasteride.
Dutasteride is cheaper than finasteride, and more potent, although be careful with side effects. (I don't have any side effects luckily: no loss of libido, etc., but you could. I use dutasteride a day yes, two days no. Or, one day yes, the next day no. My hairloss is lifestyle/stress related, but, you could amp it up to everyday if yours is genetic related. Again, you might get sides, so try it up for a bit).
      2️⃣. Get a derma stamp 1.0. mm.
It's better than a derma roller (since derma stamps create straight micro punctures in your skin, instead of tearing the skin by rolling micro needles onto it. You could also use the derma roller in a stamping motion but a derma stamp is just leagues above a derma roller for that kind of usage).
Keep your derma stamp clean with 70% isoprolic alcohol. Clean it before using it by sumerging it in alcohol, and then you let it air dry.
Clean it after using it by sumerging the needles in alcohol and gently brushing it with a gentle teeth brush, to brush off any dibris it picks from your skin.
⚠️ Avoid Derma pens. They are simply too aggressive for your skin. They are going to do more harm than good.
3️⃣. Get minoxidil topical solution, and retinoic acid
      - If you are a man get minoxidil 5% strength. If you are a woman, get the 3% percent one as recommended.
      - Get 0.5% retinoic acid, also known as trentinoin. This is scientifically shown to maximize the effect of minoxidil.
You will apply minoxidil after you derma stamp the area of interest, and top it with retinoic acid or trentinoin 0.05%. Do this twice, after waking up and taking a bath, and before going to bed.
👀 You could also use onion juice if you want to mix it up a little bit. Onion is full of sulfur, which is a key nutrient for your hair follicles.
The way I use use onion juice is after I derma stamp, before going to bed. Then minoxidil in the morning plus trentinoin right after. Works wonderful for me.
Be careful with using onion and the smell that comes with it though. It gets bad.
⚠️ if you are going to use onion juice get a good, gentle, conditioner, so you can wash your hair every morning with and remove a bit of the odor. Using shampoo every day is not recommended.
Tip: You could also get some essential oils like rosemary oil and mixed it up with jojoba oil. You will use this mixed oil as a moisturizer when the area(s) you are derma stamping and using minoxidil on dry up, because they will get dry and flake like crazy. Keeping the area(s) mousrerized IS A MUST.
4️⃣. Changing your diet to a nutrient dense based food source.
Do not consume sugary food, or fast food, etc. Instead consume nutritional dense food for example broccoli, eggs, vitaminated oatmeal, fish, etc. or anything that packs plenty nutrients for your body, thus your hair.
Remember: your hair is a part of your body. If your body is healthy, so will your hair.
5️⃣. Supplementing with zinc, bcaa, etc.
Could help, although none of that is key, but just a plus. Hair needs zinc to be healthy, and also amino acids, which both you can get from food anyway, although probably not in high amount.
🔚 Finally, be constant, and you shall see results. 💪 note:
