Welcome to my RUclips channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...

For 1.5 make it once a week
Much too often dude. You will produce a lot of scar tissue and probably lose hair with this frequency. Your skin need more time to recover than just 3 days. Just do it once every second or third week and you can go up to 2,5 mm on your scalp, the deeper the better. The blood vessels and other tissues you want to address are deeper than 1,5 mm.

Hi hairliciously I am taking a combination of micro dosing finasteride orally and also trying topical. I am having some side effects after taking it for 6 weeks now. What your opinion on trying topical Dutasteride instead?
not much studies on topical dutasteride. it's also harder to absorb since it's a bigger molecule (daltons). why are you taking both oral and topical finasteride? I would try just sticking with one or the other.
I had problems with taking the minoxidil + needling , I took the too soon after the needles and had problems with the heart , reduced heart capacity. So be careful wait at least a day after to apply minoxidil after the needle-roller

Regarding vitamin D, it was crucial for me to take supplements. I was taking fin for months and months on end and I was just constantly shedding. Took over half my density. I quit fin and then came back 3 years later, but got a blood test and found I was vitamin D defficient. So I use two types of products from the ordinary company. Glycolic acid toner and aha acid. The toner is like a water consistency so about every four days I wet my entire scalp with it and let it sit overnight, the aha acid is very strong and thick so I only use it for my hair line every two weeks. I don't know why some people think microneedling alone doesn't cause hair growth. There are studies that show that it does, it's just that the growth isn't as much as minoxidil and microneedling together.
I agree and covered this topic in a prior vid

Hairliciously: Can microneedling generate new hair follicles in places affected by scarring alopecia? Though not diagnosed, I believe I have a case of burnt-out lichen planopilaris. The skin looks perfectly like the structure where hair is thicker. I have such a minor case of lichen planopilaris that it seems both dermatologists and trichologists haven't been able to pick it up. So many people with scarring alopecia are wrongly and multiply diagnosed incorrectly. It's frustrating.

I have been using the dermapen every week at 1.5mm. The issue is continued flaking. Is it okay to keep needling once a week even during skin flaking?
How often is all over the place.
Some say once/week at 1.5 is too much because the scalp needs more time to heal.
Personally, I use 1.5 derma pen every 2 weeks with pretty good results.
As for the flaking, I had it really bad and was recommended to try Nizoral dandruff shampoo and it helped a lot.

It really does depend. Some people are hyper responders, and some take more time to respond.
Data + Testimonials indicate that when you combine treatments they compound together, especially if you add together things like Minoxidil, Finasteride, Microneedling, etc. A lot of people see a moderate improvement in hair count by 12 weeks (3 months).

funny thing is that in my case there is no progress of loss anymore after loosing them (I had very unhealthy period of time and also I stopped eaiting meat - exactly one year at that time), but loss looks like androgenetic alopecia, still forf over about 10 years after no significant loss at all (ofcourse I eat meat again, but I don't take any drugs for hair - never), and I don't do anything, now I thought maybe dermaroller will help to get them back, we will see in few months. In my family no hair loss before.
thank you for sharing
Any update
@@dulamsathvik2720nothing happened after using 1.5mm roller after 6 months, but I didn't use anything except roller
What about color?
Did he micropuncture his crown everyday?
Im doing microneedling and rosemary oil once per week, my hair loss actually slowed by at least 50%
do you apply rosemary oil right after micro needling?
@@ShyamKumar-cp5mu No, I try to wait 4-6 hours before applying the oil. I also mix my rosemary oil with castor oil and a little bit of avacoda oil (not necessary).
Thank you@@alexandregauvreau1270, have you seen any new growth beyond reduced hair loss
Have you heard of happyhead. They have topical finasteride plu's minox with tretinoin.. I just got on it. Like 80 a bottle but 1 bottle runs me like 3 months.
Yup one of the companies that offer topical fin
have u tried oral fin?
I believe that lack of physical activity makes capilaries to decrease in scalp. Then dht in the head scalp become dominant causing hair to fall. One person said doing daily running for 2 to 5 km increases capilaries. Hence hair growth will happen.
Take citrate of magnesium.
The stress makes your hair fall down
May be my friend. You get that testosterone into muscle cells to promote their growth instead of it unused transformed to DHT and promote prostate growing.
I started shedding when I've been inactive. But high strength training promotes DHT. So activity type matters.
Hey mate, thanks heaps for your great videos.
I was wondering if you could help me with my dermarolling? I started rolling on my temples, using Dr Pen at 1.5mm, but it seems to have made them much, much worse. They've thinned out like crazy.
Do you know if you can get a dermarolling shed? Or have I potentially gone too deep for my personal scalp profile?
Thanks heaps :)
Since hair growth has phases. You will get the shedding at the start and it will grow back after during anagen hair phase. Good luck
How’s it going now man ?
Any update?
Microneedling with rosemary oil thoughts?
Doesn't scalp massage should do the same? Especially in combination with good nutrition/supplements e/o some medication for androgen issues?
Yep it does.
My father had very good results with the massage. He took contrast shower every morning with very intensive towel massage afterwards. He stopped balding and had quiet good hair for his age while his brothers and father had androgen allopecia. He even managed to keep his hairs after chemotherapy.
changing hair color makes a difference in the photos.
39 got dht blocker and 5% minoxidil on the way. Pray for me.
What dht blocker?
Doing microneedling with 1mm dermaroller for 4month and 1.5mm last 2 month. Only last weeks I can see some grow on temple area nothing exceptional, anyway better than nothing. But can't notice anything on top for now
Would this work with hair follicles killed by laser hair removal?
Lol
Where did you get the Terminator hand ?
