Just came across your channel/video. Nice work, just subbed. Regarding the battery life, what was the rate of the battery drain while recording in ProRes log? I saw you were part of the Kolder course. How did it go? Hope your video did well!
Thanks for subbing I appreciate that a ton! The battery drained pretty quick. If I recall I started with 60% and recorded off and on for just under an hour and ended with 28%. Never did any super long takes either the longest clip I recorded would have been around 20 seconds probably. Kolder Creative is a great course! Lots of helpful tips within it. The most helpful asset I got from it would have to be the Ravenclaw keyboard layout Sam developed for Premiere Pro. Upped my editing efficiency quite a bit. I entered a few contests but never won anything. Helped me hone in on my style for sure. Never got super involved within the community but its got a ton of great people in it. Hope this helps!
I mean...that is saying that 120mm is definitely better than 77mm? I saw some reviewers saying that they preferred the 77mm, because they didn't see a lot of use cases for using the 5X. So I wouldn't say that the more zoom you have the more pro you are, and in this case, you can choose if you want the 5X or the 3X.
Oh for sure, I'm not saying that the zoom itself makes it more pro, just the fact that the max comes with MORE as a whole. Regarding the Camera system Id like the Pro series to just come standard with everything apple has to offer that year on their phones, regardless of which size you get. That being said the 3x does just fine for me so to your point i'm not missing the 5x too much.
@@AustinDavisYT exactly I haven’t used it once so far. Mainly focused on the 1x. But besides the 5x, I don’t see other benefits of the pro max, and whether that is more depends on if you prefer 5x or 3x.
