I am working on this now I struggled to do the straight sides where to put that last double crochet on the double crochet row … also I noticed on one side of the blanket it has large holes is that normal? I’ve already unraveled it once 😢

Hi Crystal. I am one of your followers and fans. I want to take this time to thank you for creating a “Crochet Community.”
I have been crocheting since my great aunt taught me in the first grade. It has always been a passion of mine and I have taught many people over the years including left-handed people (my sister is a “lefty”).
I have used your tips and patterns to make crocheted items especially for donations to children’s hospitals, church members, veterans and shelters. They are SO appreciative of crocheted items. Therefore, you have also contributed through me.❤️
    You are greatly appreciated, Crystal.
Thank you for doing a fine job and for your dedication to the art of crocheting. 😊

Gorgeous and so simple! I might try making a sweater 😳🤔 two rectangles sewn together and crochet the sleeves on. Lol I'm not that good at clothes yet but I reckon I could do it!! And if it looks wrong I'll just wear it round the house as a slob sweater!! I want a nice big baggy one, comfy and warm. I'm in NZ we've run outta fire wood and spring hasn't quite sprung yet.

That looks like a very fun stitch.

This is pretty! I just started crocheting a month ago so I haven’t mastered it quite yet (still in trial and error mode making swatches) but eventually I will work up to this some day! ❤

Nice, I have been looking for a blanket/Afghan to make for both my son (33 getting divorced 😢😢 & now has his own place) and my (14) year old grandson, that are more men or boy friendly. This looks perfect, no fancy stitches or stitches that have like more holes in them. Hope you know what I mean🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😉 Can’t wait to try these for Christmas presents!! Thanks😊

Another beautiful blanket that I'm going to have to make. I love that red, it looks so soft. 😍
