I am working on this now I struggled to do the straight sides where to put that last double crochet on the double crochet row … also I noticed on one side of the blanket it has large holes is that normal? I’ve already unraveled it once 😢

Gorgeous and so simple! I might try making a sweater 😳🤔 two rectangles sewn together and crochet the sleeves on. Lol I'm not that good at clothes yet but I reckon I could do it!! And if it looks wrong I'll just wear it round the house as a slob sweater!! I want a nice big baggy one, comfy and warm. I'm in NZ we've run outta fire wood and spring hasn't quite sprung yet.

Nice, I have been looking for a blanket/Afghan to make for both my son (33 getting divorced 😢😢 & now has his own place) and my (14) year old grandson, that are more men or boy friendly.
