My mother did this stitch! It’s WONDERFULLY fluffy! She left an unfinished blanket when she died and I couldn’t figure out how to finish it. ☹️ She was a lefty and I just couldn’t figure it out by unstitching and reverse engineering it. I’ve tried and tried for 15 YEARS! You have NO IDEA what this tutorial means to me. 😥
    Thank You SO MUCH! ❤️

    I. Love. You. My mother tried to teach me to crochet when I was 10 or 11, but I always got bored after finishing the foundation chain. FFWD a yr or 2 & I graduated to the sc...I thought. Unfortunately my mother wasn't very patient so instead of asking to b shown repeatedly, I decided to wing it. 👍 After crocheting, unraveling, crocheting, unraveling (literally thousands of times), getting beyond frustrated, retiring, deciding to give it yet another go, (even buying a few books) all so many times over the last 20+ yrs, I'm @ it again! This time though, there's RUclips! I've watched several 'Beginner Friendly' vids, but they aren't quite "beginner enough". Thank u for being such a conscientious, patient teacher. Until your video, no one's been able to crack my "crochet thickness". Yay! 👏👏😍

I really appreciate your videos, and especially the fact that you give options. What I mean is you explain that each pattern needs a multiple of a certain amount of stitches. This allows us to make each project our own, instead of locking us who watch into a specific project size. So many crochet tutorials don't allow for this, which makes it difficult for us beginners. And your accent is a wonderful plus. My children and I are constantly trying to imitate it!

I did 80 chains altogether and used 7 yarns of wool. This is finished very quickly, and it's so much fun. The result is beautiful and it's so warm.

I’ve been crocheting since shutdown in 2020, but learning new patterns can be difficult for me with ADHD. I want to say that the speed in which this video moves is so perfect for those of us who might take a second to process things. You can also see what she is doing as she shows and explains things very clearly. It’s also very helpful that she names the stitches based on what they’re called in the UK as well as the US, as I’m in the US and the terms are different. Great video for beginners or those who aren’t necessarily visual learners like me!

Am I going mad or do you change the stitches after row 2
Instead of yarn over pull through 3, I think you start yarn over, pull through one, yarn over, pull through 3
Or maybe I’ve lost the plot!!
Anyway, nice tutorial I’m here in August 2021 :-) Carol from Australia
