    I can't thank you enough for this video! I'm new to crochet - started at 67 (it's never too late to learn something new)! I made two blankets using #4 yarn and they took f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I said no more of those please and then found #6 baby yarn and this 3-hour blanket. Thanks to your instruction I've now made close to two dozen of these! I can't get it down to 3 hours, but I can do them in 4 and it is so satisfying. You've made a real difference in my work and these blankets wind up going to hospitals for children. Thank you so very much.

    One of the most difficult things for me as someone who is trying to learn to crochet, is not learning the stitches, but understanding where I am supposed to insert the hook. You do an excellent job of showing this and explaining what you are doing. You also have a good camera angle and focus on the work, so this is easy for me as a beginner to follow what you are doing. You are an excellent teacher. I hope you will be making many more videos. Subscribed! 👍

    the best part of this video is just explaining simply how to insert hook at the top middle of the triangle without a lot of fancy talk or eliminating that explanation which is so important. Thank you! These are the types of videos I look for. simple, precise explaining. Going to try this. The only thing I will change is Ill do 2 rows of each color so the color change will meet up at the end and I won't have to keep cutting off to change colors bc weaving in those ends takes a long time.

    My Nana recently re-taught me how to crochet (she taught me about 15-20 years ago) and I've been trying to make a very small blanket for my niece who is due in February. This tiny blanket is taking me forever, and I've been very discouraged so I havent picked it back up in a couple weeks.
    For my families Secret Santa this year, I selected my Nana and I really want to make her a blanket. I think that would mean way more to her than buying something. This was the first link I clicked after searching "fastest crochet blanket" and I believe I dont have to search any longer. This is what I'll be making for my Nana. :)
    Thank you so much!!!!

    First I want to say thank you ,this is my first crochet project and its so easy to follow that I'm able to enjoy it wrather stress trying to figure things out. Second ive decided to be complicated my first project lol I have a question. I'm over half way through my blanket ive done it the way for no border but now I'm wanting to add a border ..feeling extra confident haha so would I finish the no border way then add a border or finish the way you would make for a border?

      Hi Savannah, first, congratulations on your first crochet project! Yes, you are right. You can finish the blanket and then add a border around.

    Thank you so much for your video it is so easy to follow and I love how you keep repeating the instructions so I don’t have to constantly rewind. This is the first blanket I’ve made in 25 years. My only question is are you feeding the hook into both loops or one loop; my holes are bigger than yours but I still love my blanket. I’d share a pic but I don’t know how.

      @crochetdreamz  4 года назад

      Congratulations on your first blanket. To answer your question, I am going through both the loops.

    I love this pattern! You definitely deserve more subscribers, you have the best tutorials that I’ve seen on RUclips. Right now I have 2 half Skeins(Im guessing it’s about 200yds of yarn) of Bernat blanket yarn, is there any patterns that I can do that will give me around 36inx36in with that amount?

    • @crochetdreamz
      @crochetdreamz  3 года назад +1

      Thank you so much for your kind words. I am assuming it will take at least 2 skeins to make a 36X 36 blanket. You can try my squishy slippers if you want to use up your half skeins of Bernat Blanket : crochetdreamz.com/chunky-crochet-slipper-pattern/

    I enjoy watching this video, is there any tips or tricks that I may be missing bc it seems like my stitches are always either too loose or tight making my blanket look uneven. Thank you!

    • @crochetdreamz
      @crochetdreamz  4 года назад +5

      Keep practicing. Your stitches will get more even with practice. Also try a soft grip hook. I love the clover hooks.
