  • This is a very easy crochet baby blanket perfect for gifts.

    This gorgeous crochet baby blanket is so easy it will only take a few hours of your time.
    All you need is your selected Bernat Baby Blanket yarn in your favorite colors to complete this crochet baby blanket. You can also use any other super bulky yarn.
    This is a very beginner friendly pattern and the texture is achieved with basic crochet stitches.

    I absolutely love your teaching method. Instead of just showing the crochet pattern you provide an explaination of how to keep track of stitches, etc. It helps beginners learn the basic cocepts of crocheting.

    Just finished this blanket with yellow, and white but exchanged pixie pink for peach to match daughter in laws nursery.

    Very good teaching video. Thank you for you tip on capturing the chain with the last stitch. It will make the project so much neater on the ends. Even if I put a border on my project, I still like my ends to be as straight as possible.

      It works up quickly also. I liked it so much I'm going to make it for an older child. I used Snuggles Village Yarn.Herrschners carries it.I think it feels softer than regular blanket yarn.

    I made this and it’s gorgeous. Thank you for such a lovely, simple pattern.
    I did an extra row for the border and I think next time I’ll do a foundation row of single crochets as it was a bit baggy and loopy at the bottom edge. Love it though...want a bigger one for myself now!

    to make putting the border on easier, if you work the first row into the back loop of the chain, then you have the easy 'v' to work the border into.

    Love the blanket, I'm a new crocheter and think I crochet tight but not sure, also a new subscriber. How do you tell if you crochet tight?

      If your projects generally turn out smaller than mentioned in the pattern, your hands are tighter than the designer. That is why gauge is mentioned in patterns. You can go up or down hook sizes to meet the gauge of the designer.

      You might need 2 skeins of each color. It won't take up the entire 2nd skein though.

      You can chain any number that is even like 20, 22, 24, 26 etc. and the add 4 to it.

      You will need around 1-1/2 times more yarn in each color.

    At the very end of the border did you snip off a length of the peach (after that last stitch and just weave it in. I was wondering about that loop.
