      @@jeanneMN I DON'T DO BORDERS, I DO DOUBLE CROCHET MY ADULTS WERE 5'5" TO 5'10", 125 - 180 LBS. JUST ADD ANOTHER SKEIN I WOULD THINK IF YOU WANT LONGER JUST MEASURE HOW MUCH 1 SKEIN ADDS I HAVE ONLY BEEN CROCHETING 2 YRS. GOOD LUCK

    Did this 3 times loved stitch had trouble one side uneven think had wrong hook will try again 4 time the charm maybe 😮lol 😊

      Make sure you are working always hdc into slst, and slst to hdc - anything else will change the way the texture looks - good luck!

    Darling, when finishing up the side of the blanket you explain, single crochet into the end of the row. You have an example of only two stiches that you do before you move onto the next stage...Does the stich go on either side of the vertical post? Thx!! Making a throw with the edge example, and made a baby blanket without the edgeing. Thx!❤

      Hi:)! Thank you yes:) I did figure out a a place to put the stitch- I’m not sure if that was right but I tried to do it as consistent as possible.
      If you did a video of the edging along the sides alone sometime that would be great.🤍

      Yes, for sure you can. It may just feel a little bit different more stuff not as much drape.

      It would really depend on the yarn that you're using but I do have a calculator on my site that if you make a swatch will tell you exactly the number of stitches that you need

    If using a stitch marker .. does it go in the last stitch of the row or in the chain 1 at the end of each row ? Having a hard time keeping edges straight.

      Put it into the last stitch and if it helps put into the first stitch as well. Sometimes it can be hard to tell what is the turning chain and what is the first stitch. You can also use multiple markers so you keep them in for a few rows at a time. Hope this helps :)

      @@krystalsemple5399 If you are just new to crochet I say keep it easy - tie them together and leave tails long enough that you can weave them in at the end :)

      as long as you are working the hdc into slst and slst into hdc the texture will still turn out fine :)

      Most likely the starting chain is too tight - you could try going up a hook size just for the starting chain.

      It will grow if your starting chain count grows. That’s happened to me if I’m not getting the edges right
