What I really appreciate is that when you’re teaching you have the camera up close so we can see the stitches, where to put them, etc.... so clear.

Is there a mistake in the pattern? I keep getting either too many or too few stitches at the end of row 1

Omg,😂😂 I started a blanket when I first learned how to crochet(25years ago) and had no idea what I was doing, I know it had 250-300 beginning chains, I think it had 4 rows and some were single crochet, some were double crochets, I had it in the basement in a Rubbermaid tote for 20 years before I threw it away, I had like 4 skeins of the same color yarn with it. 😂😂😂😂😂.
I started messing around with yarn again about a year ago and Thank goodness for RUclips!

Your pictures were very clear and although I had to redo my row 3 a number of times, by following your fingers, I GOT IT!!! The colors of your personal throw remind me of the end of summer transitioning into fall. There’s still green on the trees but others are changing to reds and Oranges and yellows. A very rustic color way and o love it! I also love how you can use the same stitch but different yarn and it’s a completely different look weather you’re changing from variegated to solid or even between weights !
