Good morning Grandma! This is a perfect blanket for today in Michigan. Winter is starting to move in and your afghan really looks Frosty! Perfect color choice!🧶😎
Lovely afghan! The border was so simple, but really set off the entire project! Sometimes the simplest shines the brightest! Thanks, as always Glenda!!
I want to thank you for your videos. I just finished pumpkin spice using some yarn I already had on hand the finished project is turned out wonderful. I just placed my first order for the premier puzzle shimmer in the same color you used. it's been a pleasure listening and watching your tutorials. I look forward to many more
Thank you for this tutorial! As a beginner and a visual learner, I really appreciated how detailed you were in explaining stitches/method and suggestions on hook sizes. I always enjoy learning new stitches and fell in LOVE with the Picot stitch (new to me). PS.. I bookmarked this tutorial for future reference and also subscribed.
In my opinion, this was one of your best videos yet! Super super simple stitching and the border also very simple yet has such a gorgeous look to it. Thanks for your hard work!! 🤩🤩
Good afternoon Glenda, the love your afghan patterns have made many I don’t take pictures of them. I give them away for gifts you make everything so easy. Thank you so much for taking your time to show everybody how to do the stitches I’m a grandma to I have made the afghans for my grandsons and they love them not this stitch but the other stitches stitches of the week once again thank you keep up the good work
Glenda, you never disappoint!!! And what impeccable timing!!! Currently making 10 Lapghans for seniors and will definitely be using this pattern to make several. Now all I have to do is decide the yarn…that’s half the battle🤣🤣🤣. Thank you so much for continuing to share you wonderful talent with us!!! Stay safe and be blessed ❤
This is such a pretty afghan! I love Premier Puzzle yarn. I'm eager to get my yarn so I can make this! (I love easy and I'm a big fan of HDC). Thank you Glenda. Your tutorial was excellent!
It’s a pretty looking throw. In regards to you putting it in the dryer, I feel it would of gotten that tiny bit fuzzy even if you laid it flat to dry. The fuzz looks to be very light. Thanks fir taking the time to show us how it came out after a wash and dry.
I'm in love with that yarn and it looks even better in your blanket, it's a gorgeous pattern, thank you , Glenda. Just a pity we can't get it here in the UK, I will have to try to find something similar. Hope your mum and Lori are on the mend, have a lovely weekend xxx
Thank you for the wash and dry test. Premier sent me a sample of the shimmer. I made a pair of slippers with a strand of regular acrylic and a strand of shimmer. I washed and dried and got good results but will be using my craftroom stash of regular puzzle. Ps..i love the Quick and Easy pattern❤❤❤❤
Absolutely love❤️ this Shimmer puzzle yarn & this pattern Glenda❤️🎄 I just ordered the yarn from Premier & can’t wait to start this beautiful Afghan - Thank you so much for all your videos 😘
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤ this afghan. My nephew and his wife are having their first baby and this is going to be for them. I also have a very good friend who is also pregnant, so I need to get busy. Thank you so much for such lovely stitch. Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Glenda! I loved the look of this blanket and knew i wanted to crochet it for my niece for Christmas. I didn't know what yarn i was going to use. Last night i decided on red heart ombre in spearmint, 6.5mm hook. It will be a full size blanket. It is turning out beautifully! Thank you so much for this tutorial 💚🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much. I recently purchased 12 skeins of puzzle shimmer yarn and I have been looking for a crochet pattern as a Christmas gift for a friend. Thank you also for giving us the multiple. I can’t tell you how much that will help me in order to create my Christmas gift.
👋 Glenda! So beautiful! 😍 🤩 I will be making a baby blanket out of Mandala Ombre Tranquil once my Christmas 🎄 ❤️ gifts are completed. Already bought my yarn! 😊 😃 😀 😄 😁
Hi dear glenda, in regards to wssh/dry shimmer, i have found a little fuzzing with the regular puzzle after mavhine wash and tumble dry low. Have you noticed yhis? Maybe due to the lightvtwist with the puzzle? I love the puzzle and have a ton in every color❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Glenda quick question if I use a 9mm hook would 6 skeins still be enough and would I get the same look just a bit loser. I have an 8mm but it is a plastic hook and I prefer metal hooks
My problem is they dont post the stitch recipe i already know how to crochet ...im trying to get a border 🤔 for my finished blanket.i found the pdf TYTYTY
Hello Glenda!! I LOVE your tutorials!! Your easy to follow instructions and your easy gentle way.of making sure you are understood. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My question is, where did you find a crochet hook that size?? Did I understand you to say that it was a L11 8mm? This LOOKS like a very large hook. I have arthritis and I use the "Clover" brand hooks. I LOVE them. I can't seem to find that size in the Clover hooks. Help. What am I missing?? I am not new to crochet. I have many different sets of hooks that I have used over the years. The largest hook I have found is the "Q" hook. BIG hook. Too big to my liking so I gave UT to my daughter in law!! I will continue to look but I thought I would take the lazy way out and ask you. Lol. Thank you in advance.
There is an L Clover hook available on Joann's website and they might have it available in a store as well. The L hook is smaller than the Q. I tend to crochet a little looser and I wanted a tighter look so I am making this with a J hook which is the size suggested on the label.. I did a swatch first and liked the look. I did, however, have to change the number of starting chains. I hope this helps.

Your explanation was very thorough. Thank you so much.
im making this for my niece for Christmas,,,such a easy pattern,,doing it in black , gray and white,,then im doing one for myself in shades of purples
I think I’ll try one in RHSS ombré in the color way Graphite. It’s such a durable yarn and softens during wash/dry cycles.
I want to thank you for your videos. I just finished pumpkin spice using some yarn I already had on hand the finished project is turned out wonderful.
I just placed my first order for the premier puzzle shimmer in the same color you used.

Would I be able to use bernat blanket with this. I know it won’t turn out the same but I thought I would see what you think.
And what size hook would you use.
Hi Glenda quick question if I use a 9mm hook would 6 skeins still be enough and would I get the same look just a bit loser. I have an 8mm but it is a plastic hook and I prefer metal hooks
What is the name of the pattern for the " look like a sand dollar afghan?"
I wish you would’ve given the multiples in case someone wants to make it bigger or smaller. Maybe you did and I missed it. Thank you so much.
She did. 3 + 2 😊
Wow ❤
Very pretty. How long did the afghan take to complete from start to finish in hours or days?

You won’t find a metal clover that size. They’re only in plastic past 6.5mm 😊
Can i use 4 ply yarn ?
What is the stitch multiple, please?
3+2, she chained 107
Electric and gas for a few things to get a ct scan and send you the link for your own personal use.
I just noticed a misspelling on the label. It has “bulkly” instead of “bulky”. Or is there another spelling for it?
No, there is no alternative spelling for bulky. Buckly is a genuine spelling record.
Where have you been? I haven't seen your videos in a long time. Are you ok
What is the finished size of the blanket?
Need instructions on hat making machine Sentro
6 skeins of puzzle yarn!? A size L hook? Only 5 without shimmer though! Nah, need the sparkle!
Does this pattern have a number? Is this pattern on Etsy?
How big is it?
40 x 52
J-10??? My J is 6.00mm What'a the difference please?
The J and 10 means the same thing. The 6 is the mm size. 6mm
