I’ve been crocheting for years, so this was very easy for me to follow. I also loved how relaxing it was, and your pace and visual clarity was perfect for me. Beautiful stitch! Im trying to make a scarf. I made an odd number foundation row but by row 3, i had to skip two to finish the row :( idk what i did wrong

For a blanket, you'd probably want to go with a soft, bulky yarn to make it cozy and quick to work up. About the chain count, I wrote the foundation chain in the video. Enjoy making that blanket for your grandma and if you have any questions feel free to ask! 😊
So what I've gathered is that this pattern is like a sc, followed by a dc, and then a spike stitch (sorta), repeated over and over again. I had no idea it would actually be this simple lol
If you watch my tutorials carefully and take your time, you don't need the verbal instructions. The visual steps are very detailed. If you like my patterns, it'd be a shame not to at least give it a try. 😊
