I’ve stopped crocheting a big project almost ten years, after seeing lots of your tutorial I can’t stop my desire to dive again onto big projects as this blanket. Your tutorial is so clear to follow, thank you for this video! Indeed the stitches is to die for!
This is one of my new favorite stitches. It’s one of those that is remarkably satisfying to do, it works up quickly, and when it’s done, it looks so much more complicated than it actually is. It’s classy and feels very expensive.
I wanna make a cardigan with this pattern of stitches I feel like it would be really pretty I hope this prompts her to give us a pattern for a cardigan or a pullover … I’ll take any!!!!!!!! We got a sweater!!!!!!
I'm making the lovey swatch in cotton as well just to see how it turns out, omg! The stitches are beautiful! I'm ready to make the full blanket now😊🙏thank you
Thank you again Briana for a beautiful design! I just bought the pattern on Ravelry. I will so enjoy making wonderful things for my family. And of course you give such great instructions to help on you tube.
@@AprilShowers73hello and thank you for the 150 info. To clarify is it 150 plus one or 149 and 1 plus for the turning chain? Since her original pattern was 46 +1. I'm thinking 46 + 46 + 46 +1...? Maybe 46 x 4 + 1......
Thank you,its easy and im happy, trying to chose find right simple stitch it quick effective this i chose do for reason, wanting to make project. Thanks again.
Hi , I bought your pattern for this afghan . I decided to use it to make a scarf , then later an afghan . I am stuck with the wheat stitch . No problem with the first row . I could make out where you make the stitch in the second row of making the wheat stitch . Could you please make a close up video while doing these rows ? Pls and ty
One thing that was confusing to me. After the last puff stitch when you have 8 stitches left, you don’t skip a stitch and work a Sc. The SC/puff repeats end on Puff. So, after the last Puff, blo in the last 8 stitches. Hope this helps someone. I’m using g it feels like butta yarn by Lion Brand and it’s so soft and squishy!
Loving this blanket pattern in it's entirety. It's such a great piece, especially in that light colour. And now other ideas pop up. For instance, if this is modified a bit, would it also work as a men's sweater? Like having the rib edging at the sides and the entire back, the pattern in the centre, and the sleeves ribbed too.....or with a bit of the pattern centred down the entire sleeve and the ribbing around it? And a fold-over collar entirely ribbed then attached after the other pieces had been blocked to appropriate measurements and seamed🤔....... #askingforafriend😏🤭.
@@tabbathawilliamson3299 She did?!! I ddn't even see that one yet, I am so late to the party🤦🏼♀️🤭. I have got to check her entire channel. I just subscribed this afternoon😁. Thank you for that🤗
I This is a beautiful blanket and I am going to make this as a baby blanket, but I was considering doing 2 colors sage green and a cream color. 1 color for boarder and one for body. I have never done a blanket with a running color and wondering how easy it is. I know I would pick up the new color on the last YO, but worried about keeping everything the same tension, ie not letting the old color become loose after beginning the new color. Any tips or tricks?

Hello Briana. I have searched hi and low to get to the Free PDF for sizes of blankets. I have not been able to locate it. I keep being directed to purchase a full pattern. Coyld you help me with a link to go straight to the PDF please. Id like to make a lap blanket and need the sizing of the starting chain. Thank you so kindly.
Yes it is! I have loads of patterns coming in this stitch because I love it so much. And this blanket is made in one piece so you don't have to come back and do a border later.
I'm afraid of this as well! It happened for me too on my test swatch, I think because the single crochet are not as wide as the modified puff stitch but are in the same row. Any recommendations to fix this?

What is the number of chains for larger blankets and throws? Is it multiples of 2 plus one for the turning chain?
This comment is a month old and no reply??? Has anyone been able to locate the Free PDF file that Briana says has the free sizing chart in it please?
This is very beautiful. If I use the yarn in the video, how many balls would I need to make a throw rug size please?
Beautiful piece of work . Could you please help me with the multiples of the starting chains ?
I was wondering the same thing.Because I wanna make a larger blanget but I wasn't sure of the count

I believe she made a cuff to cuff sweater pattern with the wheat pattern just after each sleeve on the bodice of the sweater.

Can you add Polish subtitles, please?

I’m wondering if this would look good as a scarf ? To match the hat. Maybe just less rows? And only do 1 row on either side of BLO?
Beginner here.... would this be easy enough to modify into a scarf? I have the snowy wheat beanie and want to make a matching scarf 😊

Why the modified puff n not the normal puff?
Either way it's a really cute blanket.

i never do a turning chain if you skip that you dont have the little lumps on the side of your work
How do I purchase the pattern with the different sizes?
Working on this now, and im getting some curve to it. Does that work itself out later as you get into further rows? Im only on row 10

What do u mean by blocking and how is it done.
