It’s a good thing you’re a DIY kind of owner, you saved yourself thousands in labor fees. Your 360 is gorgeous, don’t see yellow Ferraris often and with the sexy curves of the timeless design of the 360 it really stands out. I’ve owned my 2000 360 Modena many years now and from early on I learned that a well-maintained 360 is a great car to enjoy and relatively reliable. Your next year of ownership should go well and you’ll only have to do its annual service, which will be 1/13 of what you spent year 1…love it, drive it and enjoy it 👍🏻. Oh, word of caution, try to avoid reversing on steep hills, it’ll kill the life of your F1 clutch a lot sooner than you can imagine. One last recommendation, a challenge grill would look fantastic on that sexy yellow booty 😉
Thank you for the compliments, and thanks for your words of caution. There is no way I could afford to properly maintain my Ferrari if I didn't do most of the repairs.
Congrats to your beautiful F360 in Giallo Modena! Your costs are realistic. I had my F355 now for 12 years. My average costs over all (tax, insurance, maintenance, repair, fuel...) are roundabout 7000 Euro per year. And - I'm not at the official dealer but at a free (and very good) mechanic. And I only drive 1000 km per year. F-Greetings from Germany!
That's why I bought a porsche. Super reliable and great driving experience whether in traffic, curvy mountain roads or going to the grocery store. And it hugs the road so I'm not nervous at all.
@@myferrari3603 Congrats on your boxster s and that you're enjoying it! That's the way it should be. Plus I have driven my porsche across the country without concern which I'd be too afraid to do in a Ferrari or Lamborghini.
@@fanderso5818thats a shame mate. Ferraris fare miles better when used properly and regularly. My 360 has close to 80k miles on it and its barely needed any repairs or maintenance expenditure in the 30k miles uve had it for :) porsche are shit hot. You only buy ferrari to own ferrari. Most bmw/amg/porsche will compete easily with italian performances hahah
Another nice video my friend. Your maintenance costs were not too bad considering you did the timing belts and an a/c compressor. I plan to do my belts next spring so that interests me a lot. Your insurance seems a bit high. I have a 2k deductible so that helps keep insurance cost down. Plus, I live in the north so the car goes into storage from November to April and during that time I can suspend everything except comprehensive coverage which saves a lot.
Thank you very much. I have zero deductible, but only because the cost was not that much different. I live in northern Utah but I still drive it year round (just not when there is salt on the road).
is it still good to buy 360? which model is best of 360 manual , 430 f1 mission , 458 spider, 355?? i want to have one of them. please let me hear your opinion~^^
For me, the point was the honor of ownership. Cost did not matter, or how long I owned it, or how many miles. I needed a street legal Ferrari in my name. I was happy that it ONLY cost me $13,000. 😀
Let's put this way,, I drive a 1992 3L V6 Ford Tempo w/501K in it........ repair cost average per year..$200.....and we go with the same speed on the road.
I have always loved Ferraris and always wanted to own and cherish one. I'm getting closer to one day actually being able to afford one but I'm getting scared off by these videos. The cost of ownership is one thing but I couldn't be bothered with all the hassle. I'm sure the fun and excitement would far outweigh the maintenance cost and hassle but I'm too busy and tight fisted to be bothered. For that sum of money for a car, brand new or slightly older I want quality.
@@myferrari3603 ah so you have an early car. A good episode idea might be going over some of the early gremlins, can variators etc. Circa 2021 your car likely has had them done by now.

Nice to know my videos are being watched in Germany. I'm hoping this year won't be as expensive as the last. Thanks for watching.
Whay only 1000 km a year....
@@iztokfajfar9766 That's about right. It's just a little fun weekend driver.

I now own a 2001 Boxster S. I'm much happier with it because I don't have to worry about $20,000 repairs. And it's so much fun to drive.

Great car dude you seem like a normal cool dude with a hot car.
I'm fairly average. Fortunately my car is not.

Hey, bro, you learn so much on fixing your car. You can be Ferrari mechanic. And have somebody pay you to advise them or fix car.
That would be nice.
So ridiculous a car that expensive can’t go a few months without repairs.
It can go further and cheaper than a true race car. At least its legal for me to take it to the grocery store.

The manual. The others are faster, but nothing beats the joy of rowing your own gears.
Very helpful~ thank you~!
well, for 13k spent and ~1000miles driven it prolly would have been cheaper to rent one. Hassle free too. But I totally get it, we only live once.

$6213 for registration??? did you mean taxes on the purchase? how is the registration 6k a year?
Yes, taxes for the new purchase was included in that cost.

I bet some days you even go faster, but speed is not what I'm after.
The list keeps growing. That's what I found. Whack a mole. Nice car!
I'm really hoping that the annual cost will be significantly smaller in the years to come.😬
1:30 geez I couldn’t even afford to register this car sad😢lol
Neither can I. That is why I sold it. 😢
Wonderful vedio one day ill buy my own ferrari 360 🙌🙌🥰
Thank you very much, and good luck in your pursuits. They are wonderful vehicles to own.
@@myferrari3603 thanks sir for reply ✨✨🥰🥰
"2nd yr should be close to nothing." 🤣🤣🤣
That is what I am hoping, aside from the normal routine fluid changes.
So, another year later, how’s going?

It would sound like this is not the car for you.
Hope it doesn’t cost you anything to run it in years to come! ☺️
Having a Ferrari is like having a super hot girlfriend. High maintenance!
I believe you just have to find the right super car and super girlfriend like I have.
What year is your car?
Sorry, I should have included that. 1999

@@dimitriykosovay6211 Thank you for the suggestion. I want to make more videos but I fear of running out of cool ideas.
Ferrari problems read like a novel
I hope you see my videos as a great page turner that keeps you watching.
68000 for a 360 is pretty cheap
At the time I was seeing them go for as low as $55,000.
Not anymore, the cheapest I’ve found is going for 80 plus
Like a maths teacher...
Full of problems.....
I love math!!!
You Should have bought an Aston Martin!
The problem I did not dream about Aston Martin when I was a child. I had a Ferrari on my wall and I wanted a Ferrari in my garage.
all that, for a yellow ferrari......lol
At first I really wanted red, but I really loved the yellow once I got it.
That's it. I'm not buying one!
Wait, don't give up on your dreams so fast. It's not so bad.😂
Haha,what a clown
You're absolutely right. My dog is silly.
