Great first guest Pan, Yvan did an amazing job! I am going to check out their products, they look very interesting and easy to apply and remove. Thanks for the information.
Been using their tire gel for a while now and I love it! Loved seeing it applied with an air gun, makes me need an air compressor more and more now, arrrrgh! Great video Pan!

So he just screwed that bottle of cleaner onto to the foam cannon nozzle / trigger assembly? Was that hooked to a pressure washer or an air compressor? If air compressor, what Psi rating? Thanks!

I thank God for your life PAN. this should be your old workshop I can see incredible transformation in your business I wish you best of luck always. I think your guest is from the USA?
Aquapel lasts 5-6 months and I love it on glass. I will have to test long term durability of Opti-Seal but that should also last many months. OPT also have a dedicated glass sealant
Question- Love ONR. But I have had some issues where it starts to dry and turns brown from the dirt, and even when it doesn’t dry and I dry it off the car, it sometimes turns the towel brown. Don’t like that. Don’t want to add swirls to the paint or add any friction.
@Pan I know this is an older video but any idea where I can find that wheel bucket with the built in brush holder? I have the bucket dolly from Obsessed Garage but like the built in holder for the wheel brush!
At 3:02 Yvan begins applying Power Clean using the pressure washer. Is it safe to apply Power Clean to glass? I've read that it's one of the safest APCs and know it has a lot of uses but I thought it wasn't supposed to be applied to glass. I've read that it can haze or etch glass. Now I know not everything you read on the Internet is true so I want to check to make sure it's safe on all exterior surfaces, diluted 3:1. My plan is similar to the process shown in this video. 1. Power Clean, 2. ONR, 3. Clay Towel with Opt. Car Wax. 4. Dry
Hi Todd. I wrote to Yvan Lacroix at Optimum (he's now vice president of the company!) and his response is that they suggest to avoid using Power Clean on glass because they don't want that product to dry on glass surfaces.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan. I appreciate the research and the response. I'm enjoying your channel. Thanks for all the informative videos. I guess if I want to strip the paint before detailing, I can rinse, spray power clean on the painted surfaces (at 3:1), wheels & tires, then rinse. Next ONR - Clay + Wax. I realize Power Clean probably isn't needed for every wash. I just thought the Power Clean would be a good starting point prior to the mechanical decon. with the clay towel.
Yes Power Clean is a powerful cleaner to help remove traffic film which is very important. If you want to have virgin clear coat, you'll also have to do some machine polishing. At the very least a quick polish with something like Meguiar's M205. The abrasion from polishing paint is what truly removes any previous protection or grime (in combination with chemical and mechanical paint decontamination steps).
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for the insight Pan. I really appreciate your replies. You've earned a subscriber. :-) I have a new car with less than 1000 miles. I know I should include a polish as a step in this process. I was hoping to skip that step for now because I don't own a DA and after driving an average car for 13 years (and just running it through the car wash), I need to rebuild an arsenal of detailing products and equipment. The last time I truly did any kind of detailing on a car was a long time ago and I was still using Turtle Wax paste wax. That's the way my Dad taught me when I was 16 with my first car and I didn't know any different. I've learned a lot from your channel, The Rag Company Channel and so many other great videos but I still have a lot to learn. I'm trying to take things one step at a time. I started with ONR and some microfiber towels and now I'm looking to move to the next step with some basic paint protection.
Really wanting to try gloss, but little intimidated by the compound polish phase. Is it possible to do in sections over a few days for people that don’t have enough time to do full car in a day?
Hi Pan ... perfect timing for a "rinse less wash" system, especially for those of us who live in a climate that gets too cold over the winter season to use a "traditional wash". I purchased an alternate product earlier from a German competitor that appears to have a slicker feel than ONR ... perhaps closer to their ONR Wash & Wax product that I've tried once so far when it got cold, but I'm still considering using ONR in the future. The rinseless wash works great with warmer water in the bucket and utilizing it also as a pre-spray to help encapsulate the dirt prior to the actual wash with the Big Red Sponge. Re: the Big Red Sponge ... what is Yvan's recommendation for caring for it between washes as it's not an inexpensive product? My guess is that he leaves his in his bucket as he uses it quite frequently in his Global Training role, but for those of us who reach for it less frequently during the winter, suggestions? Also, I don't think he mentioned it, but the clay towel should be broken in by aggressively rubbing it onto a glass surface with ONR prior to using it on a painted surface with the wax spray.
Milan Jurich , correct for the clay towel break in process. It’s listed on the product label as well. For The BRS, if possible keep it wet. At the shop we filmed at they wash 20 cars a day or more and a BRS lasts them a year.
yvan lacroix Thanks ... do you prefer the clay towel over something like a clay pad w/hand adapter? The towel sure looks simpler but it seems like it might gather together. Your products are made to work together with purpose so I’m curious as to what you think.
Question. I have used Optimum products for YEARS. I do not think there is anything better than the ONR. Now, what do YOU PREFER on Ceramic Coating? I used the Optimum Coating back in 2011-2013. I know they have made changes and improvement since then. Which do YOU PREFER in ceramic coatings?
It’s hard to pick just one as I love many of the high end ones and sometimes a customer will want a specific brand so I carry many (CarPro CQuartz, Gyeon Mohs, OPT Gloss-Coat, Kamikaze Miyabi, Kamikaze ISM) but by far, the easiest to apply is Gloss-Coat.
And how do you fill it holds up against CQuartz? Most people I know us that. I just might have to order some more OPT Gloss-Coat from Dr. G down the road. ESPECIALLY since its that easy to remove the excess coating vs the other companies where I have to sit there with lights all around looking for the excess coatings that need to be removed before it get difficult to remove the excess coating.
I'll have to wait and get my own personal opinion for long term durability, but everything seems to point that Gloss-Coat will truly last 2 years. You don't even have to apply silica spray sealants to maintain that coating over time. It's zero maintenance. Hydrophobics are great, and gloss level is comparable to all the other high end coatings. It's a winner in my books. :). I currently have CQuartz UK Edition on my BMW and will probably go for Gloss-Coat or Optic-Coat Pro+ next year on my new car (I get a new car every 3 years).
I guess when I move back to Houston, I will have to get myself back into detailing vehicles. Right now, I've switched to NANOSKIN, BUT, one can't pass using the ONR. Nothing can get close to that. As for a clay item, I didn't like Optimums product. I fell in LOVE with the NANOSKIN AUTOSCRUB 6" Pad. Very easy to use by hand or buffer. Optimum does make detailing so much easier by doing a compound, polish and sealant on top on one another. Cuts down waisting time tremendously. Also, Optimum does have a plus on how they want you to put on the coatings with the round pad thing. Thank you for teaming up with a product company and do a presentation as you just did. GREAT JOB!!!!
using a single bucket damp sponge to wash a vehicle and not rinsing it feel so wrong. It feels almost as wrong as not tipping after a meal or bullying an elderly person. It just feels so wrong! I believe Optimum when they say it won't scratch the paint, but it just feels very wrong!
Your so right. I don't think Pan would use that sponge on his BMW. Seems strange with how low cost microfiber towels that he wouldn't just use four or five of them instead of the sponge!
This was filmed over four years ago. If we used ONR (with Wax), how then would you go about that last step in this video? What would you replace the Wax Spray with while using the Clay Towel?
Thanks....... My 01 Silverado Really shines with the ORN WAX But there are some bad reviews out there about iven and his products.... Pan what is your honest opinion?..... Personally I like the stuff.
I watched one of your videos. Yvan was using a DA Polisher. I was interested in buying it but I can’t remember what it was called or where to buy it. I remember it was yellow in color and was able $100
It seems like you're on the hunt for an affordable polisher. Perhaps watch my video about affordable polishers here: ruclips.net/video/LvPCkCqXEq0/видео.htmlsi=Y_dmAEwvejlaIFB8
Gday mate. Another good vid. Just need some advice. Been using FG400 and very happy. But would like some extra cut in a few problem areas. Using a cutting foam pad so would using a DA Micro fibre pad give better results or change to a more aggressive polish like FG300, meguiars DA300 compound ect for some more bite??? Just regarding ceramics are the consumer products less capable than say the so called professional ones like MOHS+ that you and I cannot purchase???? Just wondered how much better the professional ones are. Another polish i came across is Final cut that has some great reviews. Thanks again for another imformative video. Cheers.
For more cutting power, you can use a Meguiar’s DA microfiber cutting disc with their compound (or M101 compound). Pro grade coatings just last longer than consumer grade ones and some might argue they give a bit more gloss and hydrophobic effect. But you’re paying waaaaaay more for the pro level service.
Dear Pan. A big hello from the Netherlands! Your vids are also a big reason my enthousiasm for detailing started. Thanks. A question. Where can I find the article that's on the optimum bottle? Hope it's available over here. Thanks in advance for your time and reaction!
Pan can you do a video comparing shinearmor fortify and there spary wax against another product. I think your viewers would like to see this one and what you think of it .
Love ONR, Opti Seal is a great drying aid but not sure about the 3 - 5 months protection. At least from a hydrophobic perspective. I use the ONR to wash and lube for claying cars prior to drying. I also add ONR in my wheel bucket for cleaning wheels.
I found you several months ago, looking for info on a product...can't remember which one and you showed up in the recommended list. Something in your description caught my attention and I checked your channel out. I like the way you present and do things and explain yourself knowledgably.
That's because you shouldn't use a rinseless wash on a dirty car. You would first need to rinse it down thoroughly. Rinseless wash doesn't mean no rinsing, it only means there is no need to rinse at the end.
Been bingeing your very informative channel; you’re quite entertaining even tho’ I’m not a car buff! It’s been 3.5mo since my new car RAV4 purchase, but I’ve not yet washed the car. Unlike many guys, I get absolutely NO JOY in the car washing+waxing process. That is, until I saw THIS video showcasing the ONR method. This I can do!!! Purchased a Rinseless Car Care Kit (substituting your recommended The Rag Co towels) from another one of your links, CarSupWH (Chicago). Found their site to be easier to navigate than the big A. Thank you, Pan, for your clear instructions, personality, & professionalism!!! You were the only YT host encountered who gave ONR’s Yvan Lacroix a proper introduction, one that he so deserves. KUDOS TO YOU BOTH!!!
It’s a shame that car didn’t really look dirty. I live in the UK country side. And the amount of mud from the farms and road grim is next level. I would love to see you use these products on the dirt we get. That sponge wouldn’t know what to do with it’s self. Lol.
It’s not recommended to use rinseless washes on super dirty cars. There are limits to what rinseless and waterless techniques can do. Anything with lots of dirt, mud, snow, etc, I always recommend a traditional wash with water, buckets and mitts.

As a detailer I’m always looking for new and interesting detailing channels, so I guess I just found it and subscribe some months ago. So far you are not pitching products and seem honest in your reviews. Even though I don’t speak French I even watch your French videos who knows maybe I can pick some up.
Thanks for the positive feedback, I appreciate it. Since you subbed, let me welcome you to the Pan TheOrganizer family. :) I’m not sold to one single brand, I like staying neutral and test the best products from many brands and present my findings to my viewers.
I never owned a Tesla. This was just a demo vehicle that Yvan had at his shop. I own a BMW M550i which Yvan applied Opti-Coat Pro+ to in this video: ruclips.net/video/C_hb8PMP3KA/видео.html
Hi Pan, finally got my hands on some Optimum products in Sydney, Aust.(Optimum Car Was Concentrate, Optimum Foam Wash Pad, Optimum Waffle Drying towel). My question relates to dilution ratio of Optimum Car Wash Concentrate with a foam cannon gun that has a 1litre bottle. The dilution ratio for bucket washing is 15mls to 4litres water. But I am finding different ratios for the foam cannon and has become confusing. What ratio would you suggest to use for a 1 litre bottle foam cannon? Thank you, Stephen.
Yes much easier, and a pro detailer can save a lot of time and money using them. I was blown away by how simple the products are to use. Did you see the simplicity of application of the Gloss-Coat?
Im from the UK and love optimum products they've helped me shave hours off my details and are very economical...its just a shame more companies in the UK dont stock the entire range more often otherwise my garage would be an advertisement for OPT
Wait so you don’t rinse the car with water after you use red sponge and wash with onr? You just wipe the dirt off then? That seems like it could scratch the paint.
I hate you Optimum! I had a lot of soaps I used on my car before and now I'm stuck with just one, namely ONR! ;) I also use Optimum Car Wax (depending on car color) and Opti Seal (especially winter-time). They are so easy so I won't have to think about longevity anymore, easy is the keyword!
I just don't fall for the notion that all the dirt and other contaminants get released when you put it back into the was bucket. I will never do that. Always a new washing towel or mitt for every panel. Also my big red sponge got so funky looking the first time I used it and never came clean so I never used it again.
They make it because some people just can get around to using ONR. They’re scared a rinseless wash could scratch the paint. So if people want a traditional car soap, they have one and it’s a good one.

As long as you drive with the car, sure.
Hi Pan ... perfect timing for a "rinse less wash" system, especially for those of us who live in a climate that gets too cold over the winter season to use a "traditional wash".
@@LacroixCruiser does anyone know why he did not include the clay towel along with the other products?
I thought it was a bad idea to put power clean on glass/window. Per the topic that went over optimum decontamination process
Hi pan is onr safe on tinted glass ie inside glass cheers
Yes
Good stuff Pan 👍
One more thing Pan is opti seal safe to clean inside tinted glass.
using a single bucket damp sponge to wash a vehicle and not rinsing it feel so wrong.
Where can you find that dilution attachment on the ONR bottle?
It’s called a Pro Blend and I got mine from Autogeek
I’ve been using all optimum products since I started detailing and I definitely learned new tips from this , thanks Pan!
You are so welcome!
Great video. About to watch the second part
Thanks!! :)
Awesome information! With every video I watch I always find something I can use in my detailing! Great job guys 👍🧽
Thanks Danny! What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
@@PanTheOrganizer If I had to pick probably the coating you new car with ceramic! I have watched that one multiple times☝️❤️
This was filmed over four years ago. If we used ONR (with Wax), how then would you go about that last step in this video? What would you replace the Wax Spray with while using the Clay Towel?
I would mix a higher dilution of ONR wash and wax in a spray bottle, use that as a clay lube.
HI PAN,
WHAT IS THAT MEASURING DEVICE ON TOP OF THE ONR? WHERE CAN ONE PICK ONE OF THOSE UP?.....THANKS
It's called a Pro Blend and I get mine at AutoGeek.

Thanks....... My 01 Silverado Really shines with the ORN WAX
But there are some bad reviews out there about iven and his products.... Pan what is your honest opinion?..... Personally I like the stuff.
Can these products be used on Matte paint without causing damage?
I watched one of your videos. Yvan was using a DA Polisher. I was interested in buying it but I can’t remember what it was called or where to buy it. I remember it was yellow in color and was able $100
This is the yellow dual action polisher Yvan used in my latest video: bit.ly/4bpvqb8

What’s your top mid priced cordless DA Polisher?
It seems like you're on the hunt for an affordable polisher. Perhaps watch my video about affordable polishers here: ruclips.net/video/LvPCkCqXEq0/видео.htmlsi=Y_dmAEwvejlaIFB8
So the mainly purpose to use opti seal is?
As you would use a paint sealant.
Foaming a car with Power Clean will remove protection, correct?
Yes it will help strip old waxes and sealants as well as remove traffic film.
Hey pan, whats that air foam gun he uses in the beginning?... Thanks!
I can’t remember. I think you can find it on the Optimum website.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you sir 🙏
Great show Pan (the man) great guest i watch him all the time, do you feel that product is good and money efficent for my moble car wash
Thanks! Yes they are great for professionals cause they’re efficient, you use less products and they give great results.
Ok thanks keep up the good work
Dear Pan. A big hello from the Netherlands! Your vids are also a big reason my enthousiasm for detailing started. Thanks. A question. Where can I find the article that's on the optimum bottle? Hope it's available over here. Thanks in advance for your time and reaction!
It’s called a Pro Blend. I got it from AutoGeek
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for your quick response. Cheers and keep safe.
Are these products safe to use on the Opti-pro+ ceramic coating and other professionally applied ceramic products?
Absolutely.
In fact, I had my own car coated with Opti-Coat Pro+ coating in this video: ruclips.net/video/C_hb8PMP3KA/видео.html
Can we use onr no rinse wash to clean tires and then use opti seal for as drying aid?
Opti-Seal on tires? No
So wash the tire with onr no rinse and then rims, then dry with microfiber cloth, then what?
Ohh look, an OPT Ultra clay towel. like 10 months before it was released.
I was lucky enough in that video to have a view of it while it was in early days of conception and testing. :)
Pan can you do a video comparing shinearmor fortify and there spary wax against another product. I think your viewers would like to see this one and what you think of it .
Stay away from Shine Armor.
Hi Pan
im just curious can I add ONR into my car shampoo bucket?
You would add 0.5oz of ONR to every gallon of water, but I wouldn't mix it with other soaps. ONR alone is all you need.
Is optimum car wash fine for ceramic coatings?
Yes
Love ONR, Opti Seal is a great drying aid but not sure about the 3 - 5 months protection. At least from a hydrophobic perspective. I use the ONR to wash and lube for claying cars prior to drying. I also add ONR in my wheel bucket for cleaning wheels.
How did you discover my channel?
I found you several months ago, looking for info on a product...can't remember which one and you showed up in the recommended list. Something in your description caught my attention and I checked your channel out. I like the way you present and do things and explain yourself knowledgably.
Thanks for the feedback! 👍🏻
What is the measuring cup on the bottle called? I can't find it

Do you have any info on the compressed air foam cannon?
No as I've never used it personally. Yvan uses it in his detailing shop.
Where can you buy the ONR dilution cap? Thanks in advance!!
It's called a Pro Blend and you can get one from AutoGeek.
Pan TheOrganizer Thank you very much! Unbelievable how responsive you are with your community! You’re the best!
Question: I have opti coat on my car. Can I clean it with MDR? Will it not remove the opti coat?
Yup. MDR will not damage ceramic coatings. Just rinse well after use.
Thank you for quick response.

The foam-ed power clean is okay on glass?
Avoid glass with Power Clean. Watch this video where Yvan uses Power Clean on my BMW: ruclips.net/video/C_hb8PMP3KA/видео.html

Great! Thanks for the info. Pro-blend proportioner
Hey pan,
Would u recommend Optimum Car Wax or Meguairs Synthetic X-Press Spray Wax. O seldom see you use Optimum on ur detail videos
Optimum Car Wax is superior.
@@PanTheOrganizer can i use it with Car Pro hydro2?
No. Don’t use waxed based products with SiO2 based ones.
Where did you get that bucket holder?
That was a bucket in Yvan's detailing shop. I'm not sure where he got it. Maybe he'll answer this question...
Where can I get one of those measuring things he had on the onr!

Great video
I learned a lot
I am changing the way I wash my car because of this video

Thanks for the feedback!
How much ONR do you put in if you have a 16ltr bucket or less.
Thanks
Rob UK
It’s 0.5 oz to a gallon. So 2.5 oz in a standard 5 gallon bucket.
5 gallons is roughly 18.93 liters so you’d add 74 mL of ONR to that amount of water.
Hi Pan, my buckets are 15ltr which is about equal to 4 US gallons, so i would be ok still using 74mL.
Thanks
Rob UK
No. You need to keep the 1:256 ratio. You can do the math to figure out how much quantity you need for 4 liters. It’s a simple equation.
Hi Pan, so for 15ltrs you would 60ml, am I correct.
Thanks
Rob UK
58.6 mL so yes 60 mL is ok.
I’m all these ONR demos all I ever see them wash is clean cars. Would be nice to see it used on a car that is dirty
That's because you shouldn't use a rinseless wash on a dirty car. You would first need to rinse it down thoroughly. Rinseless wash doesn't mean no rinsing, it only means there is no need to rinse at the end.
Great video!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Charles!!
what is the diluting thing on top of the bottle called?
Pro Blend.

Where can I buy that bucket? Plethora of knowledge from two professionals. Ty
On the Optimum Polymer Technologies website.
Thanks for the positive feedback! How did you discover my channel by the way?
It’s a shame that car didn’t really look dirty. I live in the UK country side. And the amount of mud from the farms and road grim is next level. I would love to see you use these products on the dirt we get. That sponge wouldn’t know what to do with it’s self. Lol.
It’s not recommended to use rinseless washes on super dirty cars. There are limits to what rinseless and waterless techniques can do. Anything with lots of dirt, mud, snow, etc, I always recommend a traditional wash with water, buckets and mitts.

ONR is always used at the same dilution ratio. I don’t put it in a foam cannon though, but in an IK Sprayer (see my rinseless wash tutorial video).
How about the wash and wax?
Didn't get to try that one.
Optimum seems easier to use than other products.
Yes much easier, and a pro detailer can save a lot of time and money using them. I was blown away by how simple the products are to use. Did you see the simplicity of application of the Gloss-Coat?
What combinations of this products can be used on a car with a sealant previously applied?
amill1563 anything shown here
Im from the UK and love optimum products they've helped me shave hours off my details and are very economical...its just a shame more companies in the UK dont stock the entire range more often otherwise my garage would be an advertisement for OPT
Mike Atkinson , thank you. As the popularity grows, so will the number of distributors.
very convenient
Thanks!
Wait so you don’t rinse the car with water after you use red sponge and wash with onr? You just wipe the dirt off then? That seems like it could scratch the paint.
I hate you Optimum! I had a lot of soaps I used on my car before and now I'm stuck with just one, namely ONR! ;)
I also use Optimum Car Wax (depending on car color) and Opti Seal (especially winter-time). They are so easy so I won't have to think about longevity anymore, easy is the keyword!
Thanks!
How did you discover my channel?
I cringed on the waffleweave on the rims. Used such a nice drying towel on rims
Siwulam they are clean, so it’s no different then the paint.
yvan lacroix I figured they were clean but I just use the cheap microfiber towels for rims. Those are expensive
I just don't fall for the notion that all the dirt and other contaminants get released when you put it back into the was bucket. I will never do that. Always a new washing towel or mitt for every panel. Also my big red sponge got so funky looking the first time I used it and never came clean so I never used it again.
Larry, you're the first person I've seen comment that washes like me. I also use the one mitt per panel method :)
@@thorodinson7996 Thanks for the comment...something I noticed that Pan is not using that sponge on his BMW!
>every product is needed
Why do yall make Optimum Car Wash then? thought you guys were anti-soap.
They make it because some people just can get around to using ONR. They’re scared a rinseless wash could scratch the paint. So if people want a traditional car soap, they have one and it’s a good one.
Wow, Yvan’s lost some weight!
50 lbs according to him. That's dedication!
