    I've been doing mobile detailing and started exclusively doing interiors. Realizing I was leaving money on the table and was not getting some customers who wanted both, I started doing exteriors, with little experience outside of using a car wash. Having started with very little money, I spent about $300 on chemicals, a cheap but quality pressure washer, and an upgraded pressure washer hose. However I realized that my setup time at a job site was so much longer JUST based around the pressure washer. When running as a business, and considering I love extremely efficient systems, I went on a long journey into this whole realm. This system that you have right here is just immaculate. You just did an entire car in what it would take me to do 2 tires. I'm picking up a Ryobi 600 psi cordless power sprayer and going to use this EXACT method. My thinking is, if the pressure sprayer has it's bottles set up properly, I can do the pre-treatment with ONR and another bottle with APC for the tires, without having to even spend time or energy pumping it. Also I've been using wash mitts and I don't like the amount of energy output due to ergonomics, so the sponge seems perfectly built for a hand to grasp firmly and apply properly. Sorry for the book, just wanted to say Yvan is such a genius, big fan of yours and thank you again for the great content!

      Thank you for writing this up, it’s exactly what I was wondering about, if I could do it too! I’m just starting a mobile detailing side hustle and wanted to focus on the interior as well because it’s what I enjoy more. I have the 40v version of that Ryobi handheld pressure washer and it’s awesome!
      So are you thinking of putting ONR into a 1 liter bottle and APC in another 1 liter bottle? What are you planning to use on the wheel faces? A brush or sponge ?

    • @sirwooley
      @sirwooley 28 дней назад

      @@matthewlanders4156 Hey Matt! So having ran the business (and being super busy all summer long!), I use the cordless pressure washer, a 5 gallon bucket, and ONR wash n' wax for my regular every day stuff. With tires, I've learned that half of the battle is having some high pressure from a dedicated pressure washer. So I did setup a full unit pressure washer, but I only use it for the wheels/tires, and rubber or silicone floor mats. Also I don't use an APC on wheels and tires, I use the P&S Brake Buster in an iK foam sprayer. I'd highly recommend sticking with that, a lot of other systems left me with subpar results. That being said the ONR wash and wax + 5 gallon bucket does great! Make sure to get some quality scratchless drying towels too. I also don't use the mitt or the sponge any more for the contact wash portion, just a regular microfiber towel, but with little to no pressure applied.

    I use rinseless exclusively for my business. Never see any swirls, scratches, or any other word thrown out there. I know “dirt” is now a debated topic apparently, and region dependent. You could have a salt covered car but someone from the jungle whos been mudding in 10ft trenches will say “tHatS nOt rEal DiRt!!!!”
    Rinseless users have made the claim that is safe, effective, and easy. Have even shown you can incorporate APC, pressure washers, whatever makes you comfortable. The burden of proof was on said users and has been given multiple times.
    Now, all the people making the claim rinseless scratches, soap “cleans more” (btw what the heck does cleans more mean? I understand the literal words but if the dirt is off the car how can you clean it _more_?) have the burden of proof to show evidence that rinseless scratches or is not getting the car clean. But they never do. There are countless videos showcasing Rinseless but you never see any videos showing how it’s bad from people who don’t like it. Get your head out of your arse and out of your ego of thinking you know everything and just try the dang bottle of ONR already!

    It almost always takes me close to an hour to rinseless wash & dry my '17 Accord but I usually pre-treat it one panel at a time with ONR, ONRW&W, or if it's really dirty I use Opti-Clean or (soon to be replaced by) Ultima Waterless Wash. My '95 Civic doesn't take as long, of course :) However, I did recently purchase a foam cannon for using 3D Pre-Soak when I feel like using such a procedure, mainly for when wheel wells and the like need a good scrubbing.

    I agree with everything and I’m a huge Rinseless fan, but I also like to foam from now n then. Ivan actually said, he foamed the wheels because the bubbles are agitating for him. Yvan, why are you using a drying aid when the rinseless already acts as a lubricant for the towel? Water is a solvent, but the rinseless is lubricious I thought? Or is it because you are using it to remove the polymer spots that dried since you washed the entire car first before drying? I wash the roof, then dry, then the hood, then dry, etc., so don’t experience that spotting

    • @greatestNothin

      As long as the dirt was hit with either the presoak or the sponge applying the RW the dirt should be encapsulated. The drying aid will help as well but isn't necessary. Of course you could lightly mist with the RW solution before drying if it's in direct sunlight or the panel is heated for whatever reason.

      Step 1. Rinse with high pressure, foam, rinse, foam, rinse. - 2x prewashed. (Can wash the wheels between 2 foams)
      Step 2. U can use rinseless cleaner like this to touchwash or foam the car and use washmitt + rinse bucket or towel and u have 8 sides and change sides.. make top and bottom or left side and right side.. rinse part when done.
      Step 3. Again foam the car and rinse it.
      Step 4. Rinse with demineralised water or use dryingtowel.

    Hi, and thanks for a great video. I’ve seen something like this before when I watched Yvan at Pan T.O. and thought the video was an eye-opener. In your opinion: What would be the best washing process if you had a typically, dirty Norwegian/Swedish car in front of you? That car has asphalt stains, salt, road grime and iron-based contaminants. And all this kind of contamintions are almost like glued to the paint on a daily driven car in our countries during the winter-time. Here in Norway, a typical wash process in the winter would be something like this:
    · Koch Chemie Teerwasche A
    · Alkaline foam
    · Let it do it’s work and rinse
    · Wash the car with a two-bucket-method
    · Dry the car
    Any thoughts?

    • @HawkProDetailing
      @HawkProDetailing  2 года назад +1

      I think with an exceptionally dirty car that you might need to clay....it can still be done but you just need to factor in some kind of spray...whether your trigger finger lol, a dedicated punk sprayer....or an actual pressure washer, you'll just have a lot more "rinsing" to do. This method is great for a regular wash but with severe fallout you'll be using some kind of iron remover and clay so it's just a matter of dealing with that slurry. You could just heavily spray with rinseless and wipe off. Or have a few gallons of distilled water to flush panel if u don't have hose access

    I am a mobile detailer here in the Florida panhandle and the traditional wash is my go to but I just don't have a whole lot of experience with the rinseless to be honest. It seems like a lot of the vehicles I see are pretty dirty and rinseless is just better for vehicles that are not that bad. Like this vehicle I totally understand doing a rinseless but what about something that is trashed and not lightly soiled. I also wonder if ONR would perform when it is blazing hot a million degrees out and the water is trying to evaporate every time you put something on. The weather conditions are something that is a huge factor here and it is almost impossible to operate without DI water and a canopy
