Gentlemen, another triumph! When used as directed, it works every time! Love the Big Red Sponge and some Double Twistress (or Pluffles, too!) for drying with the OPT spray wax as a drying agent!! I learned the science and techniques of ONR and its proper application through your TRC videos (especially those with Yvan!), and am very grateful for the effort you all have put into sharing your knowledge & best practices!!
Indeed, it was The Rag Company who sold me on ONR- and I'm glad for it! It took me some time to trust it and I still pre-treat my newer vehicle with ONR in a pump-up sprayer, but it did no harm the one time I did not pre-treat it... ONR FTW!!!
I was so skeptical of this product for the past few years but finally got some. I absolutely LOVE it. Used it on my dads Fusion and brother’s F150. Created an ONR wash kit for family friend’s 2021 Supra. Use it on my Edge at the car wash as mentioned in the video and am quite literally about to go wash my Mustang in my nice warm garage with it.
I'm a pretty new user of ONR, and I love the stuff. I will never go back to regular car soap again. Here's a tip I tried today: before drying, spray some ONR on your drying towel. That sort of "supercharged" the towel and drying was a breeze.
I've been using onr on my vehicle for a long time and I recently mixed up a 4 gallon batch and steam cleaned my carpets throughout my whole house with it and they turned out absolutely beautiful ❤️
I first doubted that this could work as well as a bucket and soap. But after I tried it I am a convert . I bought a big red sponge and I only want to use onr a to wash. My wife’s Mercedes 2006 never looked better. Shiny the whole winter.
Love me some ONR. I'm glad you all made this video because it did reinforce my love for that product. I'm a simple dude, and the more simple the process, the happier I am. 8-)
Rinseless washes completely changed the game; they're so much better than traditional soaps for everything other than cleaning really dirty wheels and looking cool in a foam cannon. I was recently gifted a bottle of car soap from a great / reputable brand so I thought I'd give it a whirl (first time in probably 3 years that I've used a traditional soap) and remembered immediately why I swapped to only using rinseless on my paint.
Last week out of sheer desperation becuase I was out of the "famous" soaps to foam with, I used Optimum car wash soap. Worked much better than something called Honeydew
I use it as you stated, it works very well! Great to have my ONR solution on standby any time I need to quickly clean my cars. Thanks TRC and Yvan for all the demos.
Used it last summer for the 1st time during the hose pipe ban and have used it since. Even invested in the big red sponge, which at U.K. prices is a serious investment 😁👍🇬🇧 Enjoy the Rag Company Podcast 👍

I have ONR but am often confused on ratio's....is there one spot with ratio's listed for the different uses? ie: wash, detail spray, interior, glass, clay lube, etc, etc, etc.... What is the effect of using too much product?
Sorry but it's NOT always 256:1 It even says otherwise on the bottle! The general consensus seems to be - washing 256:1, clay lube 64:1, glass and interior cleaning 32:1 and instant detailer 16:1. All info gleaned from pro detailers on RUclips.
Saw a video of a youtube detailer in Oregon who said use as window washed fluid. So i do and it works great. I will change it out to the rain x in December when it gets cold in texas as rainx is good to like -10 or something like that. But as long as not freezing temps show up i will keep onr in the window washer reservoir. This is the 1st time i bought onr so i bought the small bottle. After using it now i need to make sure to order bigger bottle. Lol
Im Curious to know more about using in a Steamer. Where can I find more information on this? Or can you guys make a video about it.... Thanks! Great Vid and great product!
I love the Hyper Twins trick....leaving the compound on the paint before polishing. Call me crazy, but I yell out "Hyper Twin powers ACTIVATE!!" ...ok maybe I'm a little weird..
Onr in carpet extractor ? Can fabric seats be washed with onr then ? Onr deleted in very hot water for fabric cleaning ? Will it work even better in hot water? Ty
Jo brothers, I am starting a mobile detailing in Germany and for a waterless wash I like the idea of maximum lubrication possible. I like onr. But i also like the action of a foamer. My question is this: why did optimum not produce onr so it could be used with foamer bottle? For example- frothe from ammo- is it a whole different technology or Is it just that the foaming agents are added? Could I add foaming agents to onr and then use it in a way like frothe from Ammo?
Guys, could you provide any video onw how to clean cars with steam and onr in proper professional and efficient way with time and effort? thank you in advance
I do a mixture of both on my suv .. Prerinse with onr Proceed to h20 prerinse Foam wash and rinse Rinseless wash Drying with some sort of dry aid or detailed .
I am a fan of ONR, been using it for more than 10 years. There are cases though where ONR does not cut it. It has difficulty to emulsify greasy stuff and the current soot produced by DFI engines (the stuff the Net calls 'road film'). Optimum Car Wash does a better job with that. I know that Power Clean can be used as a pre-rinse but it is an extra step and it will remove existing protection. So in the rain season I prefer washing with Optimum Car Wash.
@@Sherukka Of course diluted 1:5! A necessity with ONR with greasy dirt, but not an issue with Optimum Car Wash. And Power Clean even diluted will remove existing protection...
Here they talked about high pressure prewash that probably scratch the surface... How to use onr as prewash? For example my first step is foam gun, can I add a bit of ONR in the foam gun or is it useless? Thanks
I use ONLY 1 bucket.. with no grit guard but I use 4 -6 towels with OPTIMUM (Green) Wash and Wax .. using the 4 fold towel method to get 8 squares. I use the bucket ONLY to soak towels or to scoop out some solution as needed so I never put a used dirt filled towel back into the solution. IF NEEDED, I hand ring out the towel and then take out some solution to relubricate it… washing a car section then drying that section with the other drying towels.. repeat around car.. no bucket contamination, only 1 bucket and a few towels
Thanks guys love your channel and finding it very informative. Have a new car and want to keep it looking new but I don't have easy access to running water so this ONR solution would be great for me. I have a detailing bucket/grit guard and Rag Company Cyclone Mitt. Ok on weekly washes but monthly I want to use Iron X fallout remover -can I use ONR with that wash or would it be better to use a traditional soap and water wash then? Or what about pre-wash with ONR, rinsing with water then applying Iron X then rinsing with water then ONR and hand drying?
I'm confused. Here you say it doesn't leave behind a residue. In another one of your vids with Yvan, he specifically says it leaves behind a polymer/residue which makes it easier to clean for the next wash. Does it leave behind anything, and if it does leave behind something, will it affect the properties of my LSP? I bought some ONR cause it sucks to wash outside in the 100+ degree Texas summers, but I haven't tried it yet. With ONR, I can use it in the garage.
ONR with the wax cuts my wash time in half plus the car is much cleaner that using soap. My car is now coated so even more reason to go rinseless.I wash the wheels and tires normally, then apply the ONR on the paint, glass and the rest of the exterior!!!!!!
Dear Team ,I'm a big fan of your products and using TRC and optimum products from last 3 years -you both have finiqy quality products... One question and really waiting for the answer on it,can we use or put paste wax or sealant after ONR wash?

You don't need to, but using warm water works better than cold water. You should be fine with regular tap water for washing your car. You could use ONR with warm water on some more stubborn dirt. It can also be use as quick detailer and clay lube. So no need to get separated clay lube and quick detailer.
