Would be great if you could update the comment to include links to the equipment featured as well (the polisher, wash bucked with pad cleaner & foam cannon that fits on optimum product bottles)
I’m a mobile detailer in this blistering heat of Kansas, yesterday it was 110 degrees out! Crazy I know! I happened to stumble across this video, and I can confirm the ease of use of these products. I use ONR + Opti-Seal to wash cars in this heat. There would be no way I could wash cars without these products! I will be looking to get more of your products Yvan! Thanks Pan and Yvan!
Wow panner time warp. Glad I found this video. I think I will try these products for sure.. Ivan .thank for sharing.....what a treat to have his knowledge shared amongst us..

No pressure at all when using compound and polish! That’s amazing. I would have like to have seen a before and after on the paint to truly see the effectiveness of this method.
Pan, I just found your channel after looking for other video's on car detailing and I have thoroughly enjoyed all that I have watched. I have always wanted to have the knowledge and the tools to really detail our cars but have not had the time or the money to really do it right..and then I became very sick with a heart disease that ended a career that I loved. My health was pretty bad for14 years and finally my Dr's put me on a transplant list, and 19 months ago I had the transplant. I am now healthy and ready to dive in and make my cars as perfect as I can get them. I have been needing to have someone give reviews on the newest products that don't sell them so I can see how they really work. Your channel has given me and, I am sure many people, a great look at the head spinning amount of products on the market in a concise and educational manner that is easy for me to make an educated decision. I love how you present the products in a manner that us home detailers can easily learn what they are, what they do, when to use them and how they perform...keep up the great work. If you have any leftovers....wink wink.LOL.
Hi! First, thanks for watching and also thanks for sharing your life experience. I'm glad to hear you'r doing better and wish you lots of health for 2018 as that's the most important thing in our lives! I love sharing my passions with my viewers, hence why I created this RUclips channel. How did you discover my channel and what country are you watching from?
Thank you Pan for your gracious words...I have been doing my best to research through the thousands of great products out there and in doing so I found Obsessed Garage on youtube. While looking at his (Matt's) videos I came across yours. After watching your video's I found that I am a lot like you. I was just re-watching your video on your 2017 Product Awards and have been diligently writing down your top three in all categories so I can do my research as well. I have and have used a PC 7424 and some Auto Geek products in the past but want to take my learning and skill to the next level. I need/want to acquire a quality electric pressure washer..steam cleaner.. air dryer etc.. I just purchased a foam canon and need to update my products so that is why your videos have helped immensely. I need to start smart and work from there because as you know these items can be pricey. Having said that if you have specific things you think I should look into to purchase then please let me know. Thanks again for getting back to me and will continue to view all of your videos and keep them coming. p.s. I have a facebook page so I will find you and follow you there but I don't have an instagram or twitter account or I would follow you there. Cheers! Alan
Hello Pan...about 10 years ago I bought a kit from AutoGeek that had a PC 7424, Pinnacle swirl removers and polish with two buckets and some microfiber towels, wheel brushes and some Lake Country foam pads. Since then (because my stuff was so old) I have added more towels and some shampoo and leather care products. I just ordered a foam canon but still need a (I will borrow my father-in-laws for now) power washer. I have wheel brushes and a craftsman shop vac. I need to update my chemicals and purchase more equipment. I drool over all the cool gear that is out there!!! Oh I forgot I do have an air compressor. Thanks for your interest.
I absolutely loved your videos on Optimum! I have friends that swear by ONR but I haven't tried it yet and now I may have to try more than just that lol Great video as always Pan! Its great seeing you with Yvan. Having guests like this would definitely be something good in the future!
Interesting product, can you use it for hand polish or is it only applicable with a machine? And next question, how can you control level of cut by the compound if you are not buffing it off, but applying straight polishing stage?
Pan, thank you SO much for this video! Optimum definitely seems like a company that does things differently and it was hard to get an idea of how their products work and how well. I've only ever used ONR and been aware of their other products by name but to see them being used in action, sequentially, and fully explained was very informative, and makes me much more likely to purchase them.
Oh really? Cool! Nice of you to say as I am not fully aware yet of how known or unknown I am. Just trying to produce quality content and I work real hard to do these videos (in two languages) and I’m blessed with positive viewers like you. Always nice to see people appreciate the efforts I put in. 👍🏻
Another great video Pan. Thanks for showcasing the Optimum line of products, products that do a great job in keeping one's car looking nice. My black 370Z has been Opti-Coat Pro + coated and I do maintenance washes every week with the Optimum M-Wash, followed by the Optimum Hyperseal and the results are terrific. After having used the M-Wash and Hyperseal, my car's finish is so slick that pretty much nothing sticks to it and the worst contaminant of all, bird droppings, comes off very easily with just a mist spray of distilled water. At the end of a week I may have a very light accumulation of dust on the car that easily washes off with just a little water. I haven't found the Hyperseal to be a problem with streaking, as I've heard from some people. I find that if I wipe down the car with a couple of clean MF towels after applying the HS the product will even out level with the surface. People who see my car regularly sometimes ask me where I find the time to wash and wax it every couple of days, as they know how difficult it is to maintain a glossy black finish.
WOW! What an amazing shine on the Tesla. Whenever possible, please show the vehicle’s shine out doors/ in day light, that way viewers can see the High Gloss Shine. Thanks
Pan great video featuring Optimum and Levi. I use ONR great stuff! Gonna try there other line up now that you featured hands on. Hope to see other demos like this with Car Pro etc. 👍
Pan and Yvan, I am truly impressed!! I am going to get some of your products. They look easy to use and the final results were incredible. My hat is off to you guys, great collaboration!!
Been following optimum for quite a while now. Really enjoyed this video, such an underrated brand for the amazing products they produce! Thanks Pan for setting this video up 👍🏻
Good video and good presentation by your colleague. The buffer used to buff the vehicle is not on your list of items and I did not catch the make & model. I did understand that it was very light, powerful and less expensive than certain other models. I would appreciate receiving the details on this buffer along with where I can purchase it. Thanks again. Edmond M.
Great video :) it could be super useful a chart of all the different and possible steps, products and tools. To have a visual reference in an image or PDF.
Pan TheOrganizer I have been detailing since 1987 and have used U-tube to keep up with new products and technology in doing so discovered your channel which has been very useful and much THANKS for sharing your knowledge your awesome.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you for the link. But its expensive!! What polisher tool you re using? Is it Flex? How is the noise and vibration? I dont want to bother the neibours!! Cheers
Great videos, always enjoy seeing Yvan. I would like to see some videos about the Opti-Coat Maintenance product line they just came out with. I had my SQ5 coated with Opti-Coat Pro+ and would like to keep the synergy they are always talking about.
seems like a great product! Is it safe to use on a stripe kitted car? Also, I have been unable to find the air sprayer that was used by Ivan. Would you possibly have a link to one?
Only one hand on the DA, my mind is blown. But I do want to try out these products one day, especially if it speeds up the paint correction process with good results!
What optimum products and methods can be used on a fiberglass motor home for detailing and cleanup? Also how about a video on the products and methods to use.
Thanks to this video, I gave the Hyper Polish a try and was impressed. Just did a quick one step polish on the family SUV, it brought out some nice gloss despite my antiquated Griot's DA and I liked how easy to use it was. A tip is manually spin the pad and spray focusing on one half side as it spins to get an even coat over the entire pad.
is there no retailer of the products in Europe? Denmark? or is there a place you can order them and have them sent to eu (Denmark) there are none of their products with which you can coat the car yourself. do you know if they have training teams in eu (Denmark)?
I am using ONR and as a drying aid I tried Instant Detailer & Gloss on a car and Car Wax on another car but in both cases the cars were full of dust after a few hours because the body attracts it. In drying I used 1500 twisted by TheRag and Everest by TheRag. Is this dust problem the consequence of my application error or is it a problem already encountered?
Great video! I cant find the pad washing bucket for sale, also it was mentioned soaking the coating applicator in ONR, so is it not recommended to discard the applicator pad and microfiber buffing towel from using their version.of ceramic coating??? Thanks Pan!
Yvan is a G. He hooked that car up with his shirt and tie and still clean as a whistle. I'm in sweats and a t-shirt and it looks like i washed a car when I get done. One question where can you get that measuring bottle that you have on the ONR. That would really come in handy and help save product when you can't find something to measure with. Good job fellas.
Hehe thanks! I really laughed when you said “like a G”! Hopefully Yvan answers the question for the pro measuring cup. How did you discover my channel?
I watch Scott (dallas paint correction), Apex detailing and the Forensic detailing channels. One of them had a link to you and you had a video of your garage and I was like that is sweet and I subscribed and have been watching you also every since. I like the knowledge you guys give out really helps the regular guy who wants to keep their car in great shape.
These measuring devises are great for big quantities of product, but for washing -ONR just use the cap as a measure it's 1/2oz or 1oz depending on the bottle size. Most caps are also measures for products, pour a cap into a measuring cup to find out what it is.
I was all in on trying to do this myself. Loaded up my cart with everything I’d need for gloss coat. Buying the DA Polisher too, I’m at 600+. I could probably pay a pro to do a better job even though it looks like a nice relaxing day of work.
Which DA were you gonna buy? You can get one from harbor freight for under 100, and some of these products aren't 100% necessary. Not sure about where you're at but I'd imagine a pro would probably charge anywhere from 300-600 bucks to do all of this. I had a quote done from a local detailer for prep work to get a ceramic coating from this company (opti-coat) and it was 270 in prep with no paint correction and another 250 for a 1 step correction.
Actually it was a bit more than what I said previously, here's the quote I got. Mind you from certified installer, so you'd probably get a lower cost from a mobile detailer. All of our ceramic coatings and clear bras require a prep cost of $290. This prep includes the wash, chemical decontamination of the vehicle, clay decontamination treatment, and a polishing service to restore gloss. This prep cost is voided if a higher level of paint correction is purchased. If you are receiving a clear bra, only one prep cost will apply. Paint Correction - A. Stage 2 (Removing 65% surface scratches): $590 B. Stage 3 (Removing 90% of surface scratches): $790
Either going with a Griots G9 or Maxshine 8s. Still kind of waiting. Will be purchasing my wife a new car in next 60days, so want it to start its life off right.
@@dcasandman Check out the paint when you buy it, I bought a new car a few months ago and it was covered in fine scratches, and had some rock chips, mind you I didnt really have a choice (buying a demo at a deep discount) but if I was getting a new car and had a choice I'd definitely make sure the paint was in good condition.
Bead Maker would take the place of the Optimum Spray Wax or Opti-Seal. But both these products last longer than Bead Maker. The strong points of Bead Maker is its gloss and slickness.
I know it's an older video but hoping comments are still being answered. Nice review Pan and Yvan. Just a question on not wiping off the compound residue and then moving to the polish stage, how long can you leave it? i.e. compound the whole hood? I like the synergy between the products.
Wow! This stuff sounds amazing. I'm ordering. As I've mentioned before, got a new Mini Countryman S just days away from delivery now, would you use the Gloss-Coat on it? Thanks for your great video, as always I've learned a lot.
Hi Arnie! Absolutely you can use Gloss-Coat on a new car. That's actually the best time to apply it. To seal in that beautiful new car look. We call that a "new car prep" of which I did many videos on my channel for your reference. Here's one on a new Golf R: ruclips.net/video/jr19g4PWJsk/видео.html. and one of an Audi RS3: ruclips.net/video/641mAJfKDLM/видео.html
Thanks, Pan. I thought I had seen something on some of your others. But, new products do raise questions. I am ordering a number of their products. One last question, what is the difference between Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine (ONR) and Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax? The Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine is the one in the video, right? As always appreciate your rapid responses and your quality videos.
ONR is the standard polymer wash (the one used in the video, blue color) and the ONR Wash n Wax is the green one and it’s ONR combined with their car wax technology and UV protection.
Pan, Wow! This channel is getting good. Thanks to you and Yvan. I have a couple questions ( which I hope may help many of us) 1. Does opti seal HAVE to be applied to gloss coat if it is garaged overnight after application? Or is it just one of those might as well do it while you are at it ? 2. After gloss coat is applied......should/ is it ok to use opti wax as my drying aid after each wash? I will not dry my car without a drying aid. Assuming seal after every wash may be overkill? Thanks in advance for your response.
Hi Ben, 1) No you don't have to apply Opti-Seal over Gloss-Coat. It's recommended in the scenario where you've let Gloss-Coat cure for at least 1 hour, and will be exposing the car to the elements, water, etc. Then you apply a coat of Opti-Seal to protect the Gloss-Coat while it's curing. 2) You can apply Opti-Seal or OPT Car Wax as drying aids if you wish after each wash, but it's not mandatory. Gloss-Coat is a zero maintenance coating. Both serve as great drying aids. I hope that answers your questions. ;)
I watch quite a bit of detailing content and I think RUclips brought one of your videos up as a suggestion if memory serves. It was early this year when I came across your channel. 👍
Technically, Essence is a primer for coatings, so you could apply a ceramic coating of your choice (like OPT Gloss-Coat). Gliss should be able to be a top coat for any coating, but I prefer to keep synergies going and I'd apply Opti-Seal on top of Gloss-Coat if you're going the OPT way. If not, apply CQuartz and then top it off with Gliss.
Hey Pan. I am not sure if it was the camera but the paint looked still pretty bad after the paint correction. The reflection from the light above was quite marred still, definitely not what I am used to seeing. What are your thoughts from seeing it with your own eyes?
It was a quick demo mainly to show the products in action and proper technique to use them. So I would agree with you that results on camera may not be perfection, but Yvan wasn’t aiming for perfection in the demo especially not in the short timeframe we had to film.
Thanks for very fast reply mate. So in your opinion is their products really superior to the thousands of others out there? I do believe in the science behind ONR but can everything of theirs be just that much better than the competition? The reason I ask is I am starting out as a detailer and looking for best bang for buck" products to buy. BTW Pan, your videos are awesome and your enthusiasm and attitude is seriously rare. Keep up the great work man and especially the high level of detail.@@PanTheOrganizer
Optimum products are awesome. I use onr, spray car wax, quick detailer, tire bond, opti seal, spray polish, learther protectant. All the products produce amazing results.
I live in northern Illinois west of Chicago and I think I discovered your channel randomly on youtube. I am a car guy and love watching informative videos on cars and car products.
Hi Pan. I picked up all of theses products. I do have a polisher but have a 2018 vehicle and wonder if I can simply hand polish with hyper polish after the decontamination stage rather than the aggressive machine. It’s a new car so just need a light polish. What do you think?
If anyone is interested in this product line, it does take an open mind, first of all. Second is that it takes a little getting used to if you're used to other lines. Also, they have made revisions to select products since the time this video was made. They increased the ceramic content to Gloss Coat and Hyper Seal. Opti-Seal and Car Wax have added ceramics. Hyper Compound used to leave a lot of marring behind, with Hyper Compound V5, that's all been eliminated. It's like Hyper Polish on steroids. As I lose my "product enthusiast" mindset, and focus on the tasks at hand, Optimum has been a godsend.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. How did you discover my channel by the way? Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 995,000 subscribers and we have over 135 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Sorry I replied the wrong comment to the wrong person. I don’t think there will be a 2022 OPT update as the future of the company is uncertain at this moment.
Wow great video series Pan. I'm sold with this products. But I want to make a point here: in the polishing/compound part for me ( at least in the video ) the correction don't look that amazing like if you do it with "traditional" products, BUT the car came out looking AMAZING... And in the washing state I was just thinking that he was scratching the paint with that red sponge...
InVicTus-88 JM try it for yourself and put it to the test! We can show and teach you how to use the products through RUclips. But you have to try them for yourself! And the BRS is the most amazing thing since sliced bread!
Are Optimum Car Care products available in Australia OR will they become available in Australia, as they are in Canada and the UK. Excellent videos to watch. Ivan made it all look so easy. Stephen, Sydney, Australia
Not sure if they're available in your country mate, I'll wait and see if Yvan can answer that question. But thanks for the positive feedback on my channel. How did you discover my channel?
I was Googling on the best and easiest way to clean the engine bay, and your RUclips website was one of the many websites I viewed and liked your videos, so I clicked Subscribed. I used the Armourall Tyre Foam method to clean the engine bay and it came up beautiful with little effort using an air blower. I have a 1999 Toyota Camry V6 Wagon - Maroon colour, that is parked in the street 24/7, and the clear coat has come off the roof and bonnet (hood), which I've been told was a bad batch of paint jobs. The side panels are still reasonably good, so I am using those panels to get experience in detailing, for when I upgrade the car I will know how to take good care of the paint work. I belong to a online detailing company in Melbourne (www.waxit.com.au) they provide mainly Car-Pro products which I can afford. Other products that they do have are too expensive for my needs. Sorry for the Aussie translation of the car panels. Keep up the excellent videos. Stephen
Great video and really interesting company with some great innovations. I only have a question regards an Opti-seal, can it be applied on a Windshield?
22:01 - Yvan looks like a stone cold killer. I've only tried ONR W&W but I love it, I think I'll try more products because it's about time to restock. I do feel like they're due to spend a little time and money on new labels; cutting edge detailing technology, 1990's labels.
Didn’t know you could return the vehicle to service that quick with gloss coat. I’ll have to give it a try in the spring when the weather warms back up. I don’t have that luxury of a garage to let a vehicle sit in.
Yes that's the beauty of Gloss-Coat. With most traditional consumer grade coatings, you have to wait 24 hours before exposing it to the elements, especially water. Here, you wait 1 hour, and if you want to bring it out, just add a quick layer of Opti-Seal and bingo. :)
No need to “maintain” Gloss-Coat. If you want, you can top it off with OPT Car Wax or Opti-Seal after a couple months, but not necessary. Super simple.
Great video Pan and Yvan if thats how u spell your name. How often would u use opti seal. And can i use other car wash soaps to cleaan the car and will that strip Opti Seal.
Harsh soaps like in automated car washes do strip waxes and sealants over time. But pH neutral soaps at home won’t. If applied on a dry surface, Opti-Seal lasts upwards of 6 months. For chemical resistance, I’d recommend Gloss-Coat which is a ceramic coating that will last 2 years and is as easy to apply as wax.
Not understanding why ferrex with microfiber first before ONR wash. Wouldn’t the microfiber with ferrex pick up dirt and cause swirls because you didn’t do contact washing first with ONR?
Love Optimum Products! Question for either of you for clarification: Is that the actual speed you can move the ZenTool (or other DA Polisher), or was it done that quickly for filming? ... In the video it seems kind of fast.. I always thought it was an inch per second? Yvan was going 3-4 x that fast! If you can indeed move that fast.. that's awesome! Great Time Saving!
Pan TheOrganizer Gotcha! I think a good “how-to” video may be a good one! Show exactly how much product is used and exactly how fast you move. Throw in some before and after ‘s of different protocols (eg. Polish only , Compound and Polish, AIO...). Just a thought! Keep up the great work!
Kamikaze have some of the best ceramic coatings for consumers (Miyabi and ISM Coat), but I have to say that for ease of application, Gloss-Coat is the easiest. But as far as results go, all high end coatings are great: OPT, Kamikaze, CarPro, Gyeon, etc.
The bonnet was not corrected properly before you applied the gloss coat, you can see that by the overhead light shot the paint is still a bit of a mess
The purpose was more to show how the products work and how to use them rather than a paint correction video. I will use the OPT range in future videos where I will go more into detail about each one in the future...
I see, I have used ONR in the past and still have half bottle of optiseal which ive probably had for abt 5yrs, just putting a list together for the products and will definitely be using opti gloss, great videos by the way. Rob UK
Over here in the UK I cant find anyone who sells the optimum waffle pads, only microfiber pads, would any waffle pad be ok to use with the polishes, and could you use ONR to mist the pads rather than the expense of a pad washer. Thanks Rob Ps You should have a look at white details, his work like yours is exceptional

Great videos. Learn again about a new car care product. Can't wait when you do a full detail video using Optimum products. Great job!
Thanks Joel!!
What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
Interesting product, can you use it for hand polish or is it only applicable with a machine? And next question, how can you control level of cut by the compound if you are not buffing it off, but applying straight polishing stage?
Pan, thank you SO much for this video! Optimum definitely seems like a company that does things differently and it was hard to get an idea of how their products work and how well. I've only ever used ONR and been aware of their other products by name but to see them being used in action, sequentially, and fully explained was very informative, and makes me much more likely to purchase them.
Thanks I appreciate such positive feedback!!
What country are you watching from?
I'm canukian, British Columbia, you're in Quebec are you?
Yup, Montreal!!
I love Ivan he is so awesome. If I could get a quarter of the knowledge he has I will be a happy camper
Great job guys! I love every Optimum product I've ever used!
Thanks!!
How did you discover my channel?
I found you on here and in the forums. You are a living legend my friend!
Oh really?
Thanks Jim!
WOW! What an amazing shine on the Tesla. Whenever possible, please show the vehicle’s shine out doors/ in day light, that way viewers can see the High Gloss Shine. Thanks
Thanks! How did you discover my channel?
Did you apply Gloss Coat to the whole car?
I use and love ONR. I have their leather spray, too. But have not opened it yet.
You'd looooooove Gloss-Coat!!! I sure did!
Pan great video featuring Optimum and Levi. I use ONR great stuff! Gonna try there other line up now that you featured hands on. Hope to see other demos like this with Car Pro etc. 👍
Andrew Reichel thanks but I wasn’t in it😉
Levi, we’ll have to meetup too one day and film together!! 👍🏻
Thanks Andrew!! I have many more brand review videos on my channel, and another special one coming up soon with demo.
Pan and Yvan, I am truly impressed!! I am going to get some of your products. They look easy to use and the final results were incredible. My hat is off to you guys, great collaboration!!
You can start with ONR, Opti-Seal and Car Wax, you’ll love the ease of use.
Been following optimum for quite a while now. Really enjoyed this video, such an underrated brand for the amazing products they produce! Thanks Pan for setting this video up 👍🏻
Thanks Greg! That’s one of the reasons why I thought it was important for me to present this brand to viewers, as they’re legit and the real deal.
Edmond M.
It’s a Zen Tool polisher
Pan my detailing idol never ceases to amaze!
Heheh thanks Ramon!! :)
Great video :) it could be super useful a chart of all the different and possible steps, products and tools. To have a visual reference in an image or PDF.
Thanks!
Like Optimum products along with others but do have them in the arsenal, thanks Pan for full line and use video. Thumbs up
Thanks Kurt!! I appreciate it!

My pleasure! I love sharing my passion with my viewers. What country are you watching from?
Wow 🤩 mind blown 🤯 Love these videos 👍
Glad you like them!
Hi Pan
What is the name of the polisher machine that was shown there? Less noise and vibration? Please send the link.
Thank you.

Thank you for the link.
But its expensive!!
What polisher tool you re using? Is it Flex? How is the noise and vibration? I dont want to bother the neibours!!

Very good video Pan. Highly recommend more of these.
Very informative & the product looks interesting. Pan rules !!!
Best regards guys 🤘🏼
Definitely loved the guest appearance. Keep up the excellent work
Thanks I appreciate it!
I enjoyed having a special guest on the show, so I'll try and get more in the future! :)
Great videos, always enjoy seeing Yvan. I would like to see some videos about the Opti-Coat Maintenance product line they just came out with. I had my SQ5 coated with Opti-Coat Pro+ and would like to keep the synergy they are always talking about.
Maybe I’ll see if I can get Yvan to be on the show agsin and talk about the Opti-Coat side of things. ;)
seems like a great product!
Yup!
What optimum products and methods can be used on a fiberglass motor home for detailing and cleanup? Also how about a video on the products and methods to use.
Had no idea you can just go straight into optimum car wax after using the hyper polish w/o having to use car pro eraser / ipa.
Yes, that’s the beauty of the synergy among OPT products. Love that you don’t have to buff off the Hyper Compound before Hyper Polish.
Thanks for the comment!
is there no retailer of the products in Europe? Denmark? or is there a place you can order them and have them sent to eu (Denmark) there are none of their products with which you can coat the car yourself. do you know if they have training teams in eu (Denmark)?
Hi Pan, How do I go about getting a opitcoat T shirt.
Thanks
Rob UK
Hey Pan! Where did he get that device on top of the ONR bottle to push down and measure out the dilution ratio?
Pro Blend. Got it from AutoGeek
Thanks Pan!
No need to throw your towels away after Gloss Coat. You heard it from the vice president himself, Yvan Lacroix. :)
AAHH! the song that you use is you, seems to be the Pan brand, great job once again.
Thanks! :)
Pan, love the way you put the details in detailing!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
A great presentation by Yvan lacroix
Yup, a master in the trade.
Thank you
Yvan is a G.
Thanks for the positive feedback! What country are you watching from?
Hi from Canada 🇨🇦!
These measuring devises are great for big quantities of product, but for washing -ONR just use the cap as a measure it's 1/2oz or 1oz depending on the bottle size. Most caps are also measures for products, pour a cap into a measuring cup to find out what it is.
Pan TheOrganizer I’m from the U.S
Paint Correction -
A. Stage 2 (Removing 65% surface scratches): $590
B. Stage 3 (Removing 90% of surface scratches): $790
Either going with a Griots G9 or Maxshine 8s. Still kind of waiting. Will be purchasing my wife a new car in next 60days, so want it to start its life off right.
@@dcasandman
Check out the paint when you buy it, I bought a new car a few months ago and it was covered in fine scratches, and had some rock chips, mind you I didnt really have a choice (buying a demo at a deep discount) but if I was getting a new car and had a choice I'd definitely make sure the paint was in good condition.
I use ONR and recently saw your video on P&S Bead Maker. Does Bead Maker replace an Optimum product? Can you elaborate how they work together?
Bead Maker would take the place of the Optimum Spray Wax or Opti-Seal. But both these products last longer than Bead Maker.
The strong points of Bead Maker is its gloss and slickness.
Thanks Yvan ... you make it all look like child’s play. Thank you Pan for putting it all together!
Thanks for the feedback Milan, glad you enjoyed!
Thank you
I know it's an older video but hoping comments are still being answered. Nice review Pan and Yvan. Just a question on not wiping off the compound residue and then moving to the polish stage, how long can you leave it? i.e. compound the whole hood? I like the synergy between the products.
Not sure about the answer. We’ll see if Yvan responds.
What was the brand of the polisher you used in the video?
Love the product thanks Pan and Ivan for this video very informative keep up the good work guys
Thanks! How did you discover my channel?
Pan TheOrganizer was looking on you tube to find out new way to detail my car and found your channel loved it and subscribed
Pan,
Wow! This channel is getting good. Thanks to you and Yvan.
I have a couple questions ( which I hope may help many of us)
Hi Ben,
1) No you don't have to apply Opti-Seal over Gloss-Coat.
I hope that answers your questions. ;)
Hi Have a couple of questions. Can you layer the product and also when you are done do you have to through out the applicator pad and towel
No need for layering Gloss-Coat. You don’t have to throw the applicator pad, just rinse it thoroughly in ONR solution.
Optimum don’t make a bad product. Been using OCW on and off for 10 years!
Yeah their lineup is solid!
How did you discover my channel?
I watch quite a bit of detailing content and I think RUclips brought one of your videos up as a suggestion if memory serves. It was early this year when I came across your channel. 👍
Oh great so you've been a viewer for a long time! Awesome!
What country are you watching from? Hi from Canada!
In in the UK. Live 60 miles outside of London.
Thanks for another great video Pan!!!
Thanks Charles!!
The music playing in the video...it haunts me in a terribly lovely way. Any information about the music? Gracias
At which exact moment in the video?
Hi Pan great video. My friend wnts to use CarPro Essence on my car. Can I than put Opti Gloss than Car Pro Gliss. Will they work together
Does the measuring plug come with the 32 oz bottle usually?
No. That's a Pro Blend that you can get from AutoGeek.
Great video Pan, thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for the positive feedback Tim! :)
Optimum products are awesome. I use onr, spray car wax, quick detailer, tire bond, opti seal, spray polish, learther protectant. All the products produce amazing results.
I agree. Have you tried Gloss-Coat? By far the easiest ceramic coating to apply!
No, I have not tried gloss-coat yet. I will get some this spring and try it out. Thanks
Hey Chris, I don't remember if I asked you this, but how did you discover my channel? And where are you watching from?
Hello from Montreal, Canada!
I live in northern Illinois west of Chicago and I think I discovered your channel randomly on youtube. I am a car guy and love watching informative videos on cars and car products.
Awesome! Looks like you found the right channel! 👍🏻
Hi Pan. I picked up all of theses products. I do have a polisher but have a 2018 vehicle and wonder if I can simply hand polish with hyper polish after the decontamination stage rather than the aggressive machine. It’s a new car so just need a light polish.
What do you think?
Hyper Polish is meant for machine application, so just skip that step.
Ok so I do not need to polish because it is a new vehicle?
Some new vehicles still have light scratches and swirls so you have to visually inspect your paint and see if it needs polishing.

@@PanTheOrganizer - Many moons ago with the Meguiar's Detailer line overview.
@pantheorganizer @yvanlacroix is it best to polish kinda fast over the surface with optimum compound/polish?
Great video Sir. Is it possible to show an OPT line 2022 update video.
@@PanTheOrganizer is this a video to look for?
Sorry I replied the wrong comment to the wrong person. I don’t think there will be a 2022 OPT update as the future of the company is uncertain at this moment.
@@PanTheOrganizer can you elaborate on the status opt please. I’ve been using their products as of late. ONR, optseal, glosscoat work very well.
As Levi said, they’re worth a try! ;)
Stephen
Thanks for the awesome feedback!! And since you subscribed to my channel, let me welcome you to the Pan TheOrganizer family!
Hello from Canada!
Great video and really interesting company with some great innovations. I only have a question regards an Opti-seal, can it be applied on a Windshield?
Yes it can be applied on glass.
22:01 - Yvan looks like a stone cold killer.
I've only tried ONR W&W but I love it, I think I'll try more products because it's about time to restock. I do feel like they're due to spend a little time and money on new labels; cutting edge detailing technology, 1990's labels.
I agree for the labels! But yup products are great.
Hi Pan Is this ceramic coating easier than UKCquarts.to put on.
Gloss-Coat is the easiest ceramic coating I've ever applied. If you've applied wax, you can apply Gloss-Coat.
I've never used your products but im. Itching to use them. Wish some of this products were available here in arizona
They are available in the USA. Check the links in the description under the video.
if the car is really dirty, even after pressure washing, will ONR work or would you recommend something else?
Luke Reynolds I use to foam first and then ONR and dry.
Where can we find the small dilution measurer that's on the ONR bottle?
It's a PRO BLEND and you can get it from AutoGeek.net
I love this video. I hope you get to do more like these Pan
Thanks Victor! Yes there will be more special guests in the future. I'm already working on that! :)
Can I use the car wax after washing and decontaminating and then use the gloss coat?
No. You have to apply Gloss Coat on virgin and wax-free clear coat.
pan I like c quarts UK but i need to do my wifes car now, is opti glass coat better?
Both are super. I prefer CQUK 3.0
Pan TheOrganizer but wouldnt you have to polish before the gloss coat goes on
Harshvir Kamoh it’s best, but not required.
yvan lacroix thanks Yvan and Pan
Anytime!
So Pan, can you give a link to the air foamer Yvan used? I enjoyed the video. Tom
What country are you in Tom?
Pan TheOrganizer pan, I am in the USA.
Hi from Canada!!
Pan TheOrganizer so, did you have a link for the air foamer?
Yvan is a very good listener
I was trying to tell what machine you were using but couldn't see. Would you tell me which one it is?
Thank you in advance
ZenTool
Not understanding why ferrex with microfiber first before ONR wash. Wouldn’t the microfiber with ferrex pick up dirt and cause swirls because you didn’t do contact washing first with ONR?
It was pre-washed with Optimum Power Clean, then washed with ONR in Part 1. ;)
It was sped up in post production to make sure the video doesn’t last two hours lol. Always use slow and steady arm speed. ;)
Is that metering cap a optimum product. That would be a good link to have. I'm sure people are looking for it.
Yes it's a metering cup from Pro Blend. I got it from AutoGeek.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you sir. Looks pretty convenient, to get the correct ratio.
Pan Where can you buy the Zen tool How much
Any idea what is the dilution tool he used for the ONR?
Pro Blend.
How would you compare the Kamikaze coatings to the Optimum Gloss Coat?
Kamikaze have some of the best ceramic coatings for consumers (Miyabi and ISM Coat), but I have to say that for ease of application, Gloss-Coat is the easiest. But as far as results go, all high end coatings are great: OPT, Kamikaze, CarPro, Gyeon, etc.
Great thanks!
How did you discover my channel?
Searching for product reviews on Hydro2
Pan,can i use ONR as a drying aid?
Sure
Would love to see you do a brand review of Adams products. They are very popular and effective imo.
Very good indeed.
Thanks for watching!
Rob UK
Thanks Rob! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦!
Over here in the UK I cant find anyone who sells the optimum waffle pads, only microfiber pads, would any waffle pad be ok to use with the polishes, and could you use ONR to mist the pads rather than the expense of a pad washer.
Thanks
Rob
Ps You should have a look at white details, his work like yours is exceptional
@6:51 is that sped up? If yes, by how much?
Yes. I don't remember how much exactly, maybe 4x. Why?
WOW!!! Great results.
Thanks! 😎
Would be nice if you guys put together a package deal for PTO viewers.
I have opti coat on my car will Farrex impact it in any way?
Nope. You’ll be fine.
will Opti Gloss Coat help prevent stone chips
No.
Hi Pan Opti Gloss Coat is it as thick as Opti Gloss Coat Pro Could I put Pro on and where can I buy some
Same application process.
You can’t buy Opti-Coat Pro+, it has to be installed by a certified dealer.
Does Amazon offer a complete package of these products or the company itself?
Not to my knowledge.
Im interesteed in the Ferex product, how does it stack up ageinst Iron-x?
They're both great, but the added bonus of Ferrex is that it also acts as a tar remover. Plus, its foaming action is insane!
I've been using Iron-x, but im going to try Optimum next
Killacamfoo O.G. Definitely has less of stench, but don’t buy it thinking it’s going to smell great.
Do I need to polish my car? Don’t have the gear for it.
