Pan, I love your channel.. My girlfriend, not so much.. She can't understand why it takes 2 hrs to wash a car.. I say- Blame Pan.. :) Thank you for all you do..
I love these videos honestly I’m so glad I found your channel. I can’t tell you how much I have learned. I can’t wait to put on a ceramic coating for winter here in Ohio.
Excellent video. But maybe for 2019 make the order make a bit more sense. Like go through wheel and tire products. Then interior cleaning and protection products. Then glass cleaning and coating products. Then paint detailing products. Might be not picking but just makes more sense to me. Going from glass to wheels back to glass is a bit all over the place to me.
Finally yay! Been waiting for this also like everyone else:) Great reviews, thanks for giving us those great infos and making this video. Will be looking to buy some of your recommandations!!
Thank you! I appreciate it! I work really hard to produce quality videos for my viewers, so it's always nice when you guys take a minute to highlight that! :)

This was very informative, and possibly overload for me. I've watched some of your detailing videos and would like some additional help. I have a 2018 Jeep Renegade in Hypergreen. Love to keep her looking good and with a high gloss finish. I live in an apartment with no water access. I use the local you-wash car wash or if I'm in a hurry, the touchless option. I feel I can add a few steps even at the you-wash station as that will give me water access with high pressure. My inquiry is in what order and how often when I'm detailing inside and out. Of course pre-wash, washing, but then which to do next, how often and what to use inbetween to keep the color rich and not faded. Thanks in advance! Sherry.

Hello ! This is by far the best detailing channel I am watching. It is so cool that you are making videos in English and French, the 2 languages I speak. I think I am the youngest subscriber of yours, being 15. But I don't care if I'm too young, detailing is a big passion of mine and now I can finally get better and better at it. I wish I had all your equipment you have, but I can deal with what I already have. Keep posting great content ! Gabriel
Great video Pan. This is my first video I have seen of you and you do a great job explaining things and have a good tone for doing that as well. I subscribed already and look forward to your future videos. Also loving your taste in cars, that M550i is beautiful, enjoy its greatness!
Thanks!! If you like cars and detailing, you found the right channel. :) What videos did you watch so far? I have nearly 300 on my channel, with new ones added each week. In just two years, my channel quickly became one of the biggest detailing channels on RUclips with 150 000 subscribers and over 15 million views so far. :) How did you discover my channel by the way?
The detailing industry is full of products that all do the same thing Pressure washer Steamer Snow foam gun Hot water extractor Microfiber towels , interior , glass , and exterior Drill brush with different brushes Super clean Chem guys snow foam Auto fanatic Wheel cleaner Vrp Iron x Clay bar Leather conditioner Fabric protectant Glass cleaner Insulator wax Jescar sealant I honestly cant justify getting any other products unless you are doing a correction Get some professional grade chemicals for carpet and upholstrey and that's about it, everything else in detailing is mostly fluff.
@@doesitmatter3788 yes, for someone new, it can be very confusing and you can spend a lot of cash quick, because you get caught up into "what's hot". It's more so the chemicals vs the tools. You can go pick up some regular ole dawn soap at the dollar store, and clean up your wheels and tires, just fine
EP yup, dont make the mistakes I made I started with 2k and spent well over 600 dollars on chemicals before I relazied , this is a waste of time and money for the most part Just focus on procedure and forget products the differences are marginal and alot are the same products being put in different bottles and marked up , its literally a joke Bare minimum I'd go Super clean Snowfoam from chem guys A steamer Extractor a vaccum Pressure washer Some good quality mocrofiber Brushes for carpet , upholstery tires and leather Vrp or your favorite dressing Clay bar , Use wolfgang as a clay lube and quick detailer Nothing else is needed for 90 percent of the work youd do as a detailer . When you get into correction and coatings then the differences begin , but for now if I were you I'd spend the rest of your money on advertising your business. Leather cleaners , leather uv protectors, leather conditioner, leather brush , leather scented air freshener, Holy hell its redundant , and after a while you start to lose respect for these companies, they are blatantly deceiving the public in favor of greed. Super clean is the best interior cleaner and out performs everything from the ammo interior cleaners to griots garage.... its 8 dollars in Walmart for a gallon let that sink in
@@doesitmatter3788 - i did pick up a gallon of superclean today. Got a little carried away though and stopped. Once you get those amazon links, you start seeing other stuff and click on it. It can easily make you an impulse buyer LOL.
EP that collinite is some good stuff man glad to see you picked that up, I'm hearing good things about Bead maker and I may give it a go when I run out of sealant
I just realised something, lol. You might be the only youtuber I watch without skipping the video, you present everything just right, information and time wise. Great work! And kudos to CarPro, I recently started buying interior products from them and I was really pleased with the results even though I'm a Meguiar's fan which can be quite expensive where I live but they cost even more if I'm to ship them from US as I recently learned. Apparently gallons cost big money when they must be shipped overseas. ^_^ . Great work as usual!
I hadn't used Bead Maker when this video was released. It's still my number one spray-on paint protectant for its awesome gloss and slickness. I use it all the time. Including as a topper on my own ceramic coated car. If my awards video was to be released now, Bead Maker would be the number one spray-on paint protectant. :)
Great video Pan! Always good to hear about your perspective in this ever-growing landscape. Quick suggestion for next year's version - hide the selections until you talk about them next. A little bit of suspense would go a long way in making this even more fun!

The green one is the All Purpose Cleaner. Depending on which coating you apply, yes it could start to damage it. But it shouldn’t have an effect on top tier coatings like CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0
I saw your page when I was watching other detailing videos. I then got hooked and watched a lot of your videos. Very informative and well thought out. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Watch my spring detailing video to see the order of things: ruclips.net/video/YZZ-Piyraas/видео.html The protection is the final step for the paint. You choose a wax, sealant or a ceramic coating. You can’t combine waxes/sealants with ceramic coatings.
Pan I'm looking for something to clean and protect my steering wheel, interior doors panels, etc. The problem is im not sure what material it is. I drive a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. Readers please help. Thanks
Have you ever trid carpro's hydro2 lite? It's by far the easiest "spray sealant" I have ever used. Not the longest lasting, but apply normal dilution first wash, then every wash afterwards is just diluted 1/3 in a spray bottle and it tops the coating up every time and its perfect
Hi Pan . Great channel. I have a question for you . I have just bought an iron remover for the rims (those that smell liken rotten eggs). Are they dangerous or harmfull ? Do I need to wear a mask and gloves ? Thanks in advance.
. Since this is my 1st new car and my information is very "Old School" . Why ceramic and not wax if you don',t mind. I want my Black pearl to really pop. Thanks
Extremely helpful. Its so easy to get lost in the marketing gimmicks and sheer number of choice in detailing products. I was just thinking to myself the other day that I wish someone would distill the choice into a few top picks. Thanks for making this video!

So on the aquapel, when i applied it it appears I applied more to one side of the windshield. Can i apply another coat to ensure even coverage, or should I just wait until next application. Thanks.
I could also recommend Meguiars M688 Deep Crystal Top Coat. In my opinion the best iv used to get an even darker finish on dark cars! Its hydrophobic so it should work great on both wax/sealants/coatings also. Another plus its fairly easy o buff off.
This should be a fun question for you. I own a semi and keeping the non coated aluminum wheels and fuel tanks looking their best is a ton of work. do you know of anything that actually protects surfaces like that well that actually work well?? TIA
Superb rundown of the best products! Your videos are always great! Thanks for taking the time to do this! Also Pan I am a watch enthusiast. What watch are you wearing in this vid? Random I know but had to ask. Thanks!
Yes coatings are better. They last years instead of 6 months like most sealants. Here’s my popular tutorial on how to apply a ceramic coating to a car: ruclips.net/video/byKcYsEyWGk/видео.html
As always, thanks Pan for putting a list of your favorites for 2018 I was hoping you were testing the auto fanatic wheel cleaner. I can’t wait for it to be released to the public.
Awesome video, again. The award video I have been waiting all year. Great reviews, thanks for giving us the great info. Can you recommend good Interior quick detailer? Once again, many congratulations and best wishes for the future!
Just a quick question! What is your go to clay for the decontamination stage? Thanks for all the great videos. It has really gotten me interested in starting to detail at least my own car that I race as well as maybe detailing on the side.
You only clay a paint when it needs it. You run your fingers on a clean paint especially in the lower portions and if you feel embeded contaminants (sandpaper like feel) then it’s time to clay. Is that what you were asking my opinion on?
@@PanTheOrganizer I was looking at more of what you actually use. I saw you use the clay towel on your brother's car but was curious which brand clay you like to use. Also do you prefer clay, clay mitt, or clay towel?
I used to have Pinnacle claybars with Chemical Guys Clay Luber or Gyeon clay lubs. Recently, I started using Nanoskin clay towel and love it, much quicker process.
I haven't tested it yet. My understanding is that's it's a bit longer to apply, but results seem amazing. Something tells me I'll be trying it soon. :)

If I had a clean car and I wanted to apply both a wax and a sealent, would I apply a wax first or a sealent first? Also if I had a ceramic coating which would help it for longevity the most? Thx
You applies apply the sealant first, followed by the wax. For a ceramic coating, here is how you would proceed to do a maintenance wash: ruclips.net/video/yLiePQRMFc8/видео.html
because of this video I tried the chemical guys vrp tire treatment and you are so right, it is absolutely excellent, the best I have encountered. thank you!
Hehehe that's awesome feedback! I appreciate it. :) Wait til you see Friday's new video, and what I have planned for next week. Starting Sunday, one video a day for a full week! Never did that before. :) Thanks for your support!
Hey man, hope all is well. I purchased CarPro Reset - Intensive Car Shampoo but is the shampoo only good for cars that already have a ceremic coat? Maybe I missed that part on your video?
Awesome and comprehensive! Question: I’m getting a full polish and then PPF across the front of my black metallic 911. I don’t want do a full ceramic coat (yet) due to cost and possible water spotting issues (daily driver in rainy Seattle). With a fresh polish, what should I put on it? Something that will make black paint shine and prevent water and dirt sticking. Something I can do myself and easily maintain?
Thanks for the video. I took a several things away. I’m skeptical about the ceramic coatings. Can you change my mind? When the best “muiltyear" ceramic coatings need to be topped up every six months, or maintained with a silica spray sealant every two or three months, how is that any different than a conventional sealant or even a carnuba wax? Anyone can purchase a good sealant for a tiny, no a very tiny, fraction of the price of a ceramic coating and yet the maintenance interval is no different. Certainly at at a cost per ounce the conventional sealants blow the ceramic coatings away. This sounds like very expensive sand. So why use a ceramic coating? I already use and like Jescar and Collinite which you like. So don’t be defensive just looking for your point of view.
Hi Andrew. Paint protection is really a question of personal preference. Waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings all have their places for different reasons in my opinion. Some people love applying a fresh layer of carnauba wax every month or two and they love the warm natural glow it gives to paint. Others like applying a combo of a sealant followed by a wax because of increased durability and gloss. And in the past years, ceramic coatings really started to become super popular for many reasons. The main reasons ceramic coatings are so popular are their extreme gloss, self-cleaning properties meaning the cars really are easier to wash and dirt has less of a tendency to "stick" to the paint, they have great UV protection and the best overall resistance to chemicals compared to traditional waxes and sealants. Good ceramic coatings can protect from pH 2-3 all the way up to pH 12-13. They will resist going through automatic car washes way better than waxes do (waxes easily get stripped by the harsh high pH car wash soaps). Although I always recommend to maintain ceramic coatings with their appropriate silica spray sealants every 2-3 months, this is not an absolute requirement. You could technically go for a year or two without doing anything else but washing the coating and you will still get great performance. One thing is for sure, you apply a good ceramic coating and it can last 2 to upwards of 5 years (depending on consumer vs pro grade) so you don't apply coatings as often as you would with a wax or sealant and for many people that don't have the time to apply a paste wax or a liquid paint sealant, that also is a major factor. I used to always love applying high quality carnauba waxes on my cars (I even have a 1000$ Swissvax for OBSSSSD beautiful carnauba wax in my collection, AngelWax Enigma, Collinite 845, Pinnacle Souveran, etc) but since I have discovered ceramic coatings, I never looked back. But again, it's a question of personal preference. As long as one likes taking care of his car, it doesn't matter what product they prefer. We can all share the same passion at the end of the day. :)
Great picks i use some and agree 100% on those. I never tried the compounds you recommend but I fell in love with The Last Cut its truly amazing stuff and I recommend giving it a try if you have not yet
Another awesome video from Pan!!! Big fan here! Have a question, hope you answer. My car has ceramic coat and after washing and drying the car I applied Car Pro Reload. In the paint it looks awesome, so glossy, but in the glass parts it has a light hazy on it. I applied undiluted in one panel at the time and buff right off with a dry MF, in the shade and end of the day. Not sure if it will go away with time or I shouldn't be applying in the glass parts. Thanks Boss!
I don't apply Reload on glass. If you want to enhance gloss on your glass, use something like Meguiar's Synthetic XPress spray wax, or Optimum Spray Wax.
Pan TheOrganizer Thanks a lot Pan! I tried buffing that smeared, oily, haziness with dry MF, also with Invisible glass and nothing. Finally tried CarPro Erase and it came right off! If there is a ceramic coating done on the glass should I still apply wax on top? Car has lots of glass, big glass roof.
Excellent Delivery! I rely on AutoMagic as a cutting compound though has a lot of dust but its Oxidation removing capability is great. please review that product line too. I use their leveling Wax, Strawberry Wax, Seal It and more. hope you can spend time on them and get us a comparison.

Mr. Organizer you forgot DETAILER OF THE YEAR! AND THAT AWARD 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 GOES TO YOU SIR! THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO.
Thanks I appreciate it!
He's not a detailer; he's a guy a RUclips shilling detailing products. This came up in my feed. Couldn't make it through 3 minutes. Insulting.
Don't get an erection

Hahah that's the spirit !! :)
Good laugh. Thanks

I love these videos honestly I’m so glad I found your channel. I can’t tell you how much I have learned. I can’t wait to put on a ceramic coating for winter here in Ohio.
Thanks for the kind words and for your support Hunter!
The award ceremony I have been waiting all year
🎊🏆🎉👍🏻👍🏻
Pan the thought of you making this video in two languages exhausts me. Great Work
Yeah it’s so much work, it’s insane, but I love making videos. It’s nice to see viewers like you notice my efforts! Thanks!
Why not just voiceover? One video?
Thanks .... Pan The Organizer for 2018 detailing products awards video always the best hands down 👍
Thanks Rodney!
I like to keep it unpredictable. :)
Finally yay! Been waiting for this also like everyone else:) Great reviews, thanks for giving us those great infos and making this video. Will be looking to buy some of your recommandations!!

@@PanTheOrganizer love your videos and very informative brother. Quick question, best clay bar?
Did you buy the obsessed wax for 900 bucks? lol
all clay bars are made by the same factory and either colored or rebranded, last i heard anyway, the "patent" ran out but something about the manufacturing is still only done by them the last i heard
Thing about that is that everyone will have their own opinion on what's #1. That's why the detailing industry is MASSIVE. It's like a pharm company.
Sherry.
Watch my basic car wash tutorial, it covers a proper maintenance wash: ruclips.net/video/PugdSwF9d9w/видео.html

Gabriel
That's great Gabriel! I started detailing when I was 16, so it's nice to see young teenagers have a passion for detailing!
So do you have other businesses or you work as a pro detailer ?
Great video Pan. This is my first video I have seen of you and you do a great job explaining things and have a good tone for doing that as well. I subscribed already and look forward to your future videos.
Also loving your taste in cars, that M550i is beautiful, enjoy its greatness!
Thanks!! If you like cars and detailing, you found the right channel. :)
What videos did you watch so far? I have nearly 300 on my channel, with new ones added each week. In just two years, my channel quickly became one of the biggest detailing channels on RUclips with 150 000 subscribers and over 15 million views so far. :)

Awesome Pan, thank you for this rundown! Love the channel!

So many products, it makes you wonder how much of it is the same product, different label
The detailing industry is full of products that all do the same thing
Pressure washer
Steamer
Snow foam gun
Hot water extractor
Microfiber towels , interior , glass , and exterior
Drill brush with different brushes
Super clean
Chem guys snow foam
Auto fanatic Wheel cleaner
Vrp
Iron x
Clay bar
Leather conditioner
Fabric protectant
Glass cleaner
Insulator wax
Jescar sealant
I honestly cant justify getting any other products unless you are doing a correction
Get some professional grade chemicals for carpet and upholstrey and that's about it, everything else in detailing is mostly fluff.
EP yup, dont make the mistakes I made
I started with 2k and spent well over 600 dollars on chemicals before I relazied , this is a waste of time and money for the most part
Just focus on procedure and forget products the differences are marginal and alot are the same products being put in different bottles and marked up , its literally a joke
Bare minimum I'd go
Super clean
Snowfoam from chem guys
A steamer
Extractor
a vaccum
Pressure washer
Some good quality mocrofiber
Brushes for carpet , upholstery tires and leather
Vrp or your favorite dressing
Clay bar ,
Use wolfgang as a clay lube and quick detailer
Nothing else is needed for 90 percent of the work youd do as a detailer . When you get into correction and coatings then the differences begin , but for now if I were you I'd spend the rest of your money on advertising your business.
Leather cleaners , leather uv protectors, leather conditioner, leather brush , leather scented air freshener,
Holy hell its redundant , and after a while you start to lose respect for these companies, they are blatantly deceiving the public in favor of greed.
Bought some griots 3 in 1 for leather
griots complete compound
griots pink car wash
mequiars ultimate compound
vrp
hd speed
collinite 845
bead maker
invisible glass and i stopped.
Once you get those amazon links, you start seeing other stuff and click on it. It can easily make you an impulse buyer LOL.
EP that collinite is some good stuff man glad to see you picked that up, I'm hearing good things about Bead maker and I may give it a go when I run out of sealant

Hey thanks Patrick! :)
Great work as usual!

will the meguiars mixed 1:10 affect a ceramic coating on the car ? when used on the badges and grill on the car
Which Meguiar's are you referring to? APC? Super Degreaser?
no , the green one
The green one is the All Purpose Cleaner. Depending on which coating you apply, yes it could start to damage it. But it shouldn’t have an effect on top tier coatings like CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0
2 layers of gyon mohs and one later of can coat

Can you explain after washing and the decontamination process. In what order should I use wax, sealants and ceramic coatings? Thanks
Watch my spring detailing video to see the order of things: ruclips.net/video/YZZ-Piyraas/видео.html
The protection is the final step for the paint. You choose a wax, sealant or a ceramic coating. You can’t combine waxes/sealants with ceramic coatings.
Great video will def try some new products

Pan I'm looking for something to clean and protect my steering wheel, interior doors panels, etc. The problem is im not sure what material it is. I drive a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. Readers please help. Thanks
If it’s vinyl plastic or rubber, CarPro PERL diluted 1:5 is a great interior dressing.
I'm not sure if it's vinyl, leather, or a blend. Is there anyway to find out.
I think Zaino works very well... any input?
I used to have Zaino products 15 years ago, but I feel the industry has moved past it as far as technology and research in products these days.
Yes I even made a video about CarPro HydrO2 here: ruclips.net/video/d1beB0P4sOM/видео.html
Gliss or Reload? Think I'll go reload for ease of application and my CA winters aren't quite as harsh as your Canadian.
Reload lasts 2-3 months, where GLISS can last 6 months to 1 year. For durability and slickness, Gliss all the way. For ease of application, Reload.
Hi Pan . Great channel. I have a question for you . I have just bought an iron remover for the rims (those that smell liken rotten eggs). Are they dangerous or harmfull ? Do I need to wear a mask and gloves ? Thanks in advance.
Just make sure you use iron removers in well ventilated areas or outdoors.
Great video i really enjoy watching
Thanks Lennard!
Pan a question. If you have a new car should you only use a paint sealant instead of a wax or do both? Thanks
Paint sealant as a base layer, topped with a good wax. But I prefer ceramic coatings personally.
. Since this is my 1st new car and my information is very "Old School" . Why ceramic and not wax if you don',t mind. I want my Black pearl to really pop. Thanks
Pan I liked these videos but is there any way you can add time code boutons in the description to scan to a specific section ?

CarPro has been formulated for use with ceramic coatings. Stick with Adam’s for waxes and sealants.
Hi Pan. Your vids are awesome!
Would it be a good idea to use Bead maker on top of Meguiars liquid wax?pros cons? Thanks
You certainly can. It's a great topper over waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings.
I could also recommend Meguiars M688 Deep Crystal Top Coat. In my opinion the best iv used to get an even darker finish on dark cars! Its hydrophobic so it should work great on both wax/sealants/coatings also. Another plus its fairly easy o buff off.
Great video keep the good work up.
Looking forward to the next one 🙂

Awesome video, again. The award video I have been waiting all year. Great reviews, thanks for giving us the great info. Can you recommend good Interior quick detailer? Once again, many congratulations and best wishes for the future!
For the interior, I like ONR diluted 1:256 (standard ONR dilution). It works wonders!
Hmmm ONR for interior :) I will try. Thanks a lot.
@@PanTheOrganizer that's awesome, thank you for the recommendations and keep the videos coming!
Quick question, how much better is your new pressure washer than the Karcher you had last?
You can’t compare. The experience is night and day. But the Karcher destroys it in the value department.
Awesome lineup, but where is the bead maker ? I was surprised not to see it in the lineup it’s an awesome product
I haven't tested it yet. My understanding is that's it's a bit longer to apply, but results seem amazing. Something tells me I'll be trying it soon. :)
What pressure washer do you use? Any modifications?
I use a high end Kranzle 1122TST pressure washer with Mosmatic gun and wand solution. Here’s my review of the kit: ruclips.net/video/Cj4FDpKuORI/видео.html
If I had a clean car and I wanted to apply both a wax and a sealent, would I apply a wax first or a sealent first? Also if I had a ceramic coating which would help it for longevity the most? Thx
You applies apply the sealant first, followed by the wax. For a ceramic coating, here is how you would proceed to do a maintenance wash: ruclips.net/video/yLiePQRMFc8/видео.html
because of this video I tried the chemical guys vrp tire treatment and you are so right, it is absolutely excellent, the best I have encountered. thank you!
Thanks for the feedback!
Which is better decontamination with clay bar or with the sprays you showed ?
Claybars do mechanical decontamination. Iron removers do chemical decontamination. Both are important and do different tasks.
Awesome video...you liking the griots over wolfgang urw as a quick detailer spray?
Both give similar results.

A high quality wax but it will be more expensive than a good consumer grade coating that will last 10x longer than wax......
Pan TheOrganizer what’s the best DIY coating then?
Thanks!
Can’t wait for 2019 how long u think in aug ?
In the fall. It will be epic!
@@PanTheOrganizer Will we see surfex hd and greenstar ? Those are awesome and wheren't on this video :(
Another awesome video from Pan!!!
No. Don’t mix waxes and sealants.
Excellent Delivery! I rely on AutoMagic as a cutting compound though has a lot of dust but its Oxidation removing capability is great. please review that product line too. I use their leveling Wax, Strawberry Wax, Seal It and more. hope you can spend time on them and get us a comparison.
What would you recommend for leather Seats and door cover ? That’s hast been cleans in a while
