Two of the best Canadian detailer/auto enthusiast in the business. Mor collaboration between the two of you. Pan I laughed out loud when u asked Ivan the name of his pane prep. Your response to the camera “ what a surprise “ when his answer was it’s called: Panel prep 😂😂. You two men have great chemistry 👍
Heheheh thanks David! Yeah Yvan is a great person, and we always have fun when we meet. There will be another special video with Yvan soon on my channel, with great advice, so stay tuned!
@@diydetailofficial It was both of you that I started using rinseless Wash starting with ONR. Then I tried Uber Wolfgang and now I’m using P & S Absolute. I also like 3D waterless wash. Next I’ll try DIY👍. But I do and love the process and efficient approach with jaw dropping results not to mention the use of so less water👍. Thanks Ivan and Pan🤜🏽
Listening to you both is so refreshing. Pure passion, and a good exemple of what makes the detailing community great. I can't wait to try the DIY products!
Just started using DIY Detail products and they’ve been fantastic so far! Also love their helpful RUclips videos and the QR code links to product videos right on the bottles.
Very informative video Yvan and Pan, I enjoyed watching it. The products really look amazing. One thing I must say Pan is that you're always so well-spoken, never tripping over your words like many other people and you're easy to listen to.
Thanks Archie! I really appreciate the kind words. You have been a long time subscriber and supporter of my channel, so it's nice to have this continued support and appreciation for all the efforts I put into making my videos. I hope you and your family are doing well and wish you a great weekend!
Where I live in the UK I don’t see anyone washing their car anymore. But I get some crazy looks when the snowfoam comes out, they must think I’m crazy with the amount of brushes, buckets and products that come out.
You know Pan, I absolutely love this video 👏😃 because it is rear now in days to see the actual real people ( the owner of the company ) behind the products, to me it makes it more wholesome, more old fashioned, trustworthy…he’s willing to put he’s face behind the product ( I actually fell in love with this product line up…so simple, easy and user friendly, definitely will be ordering some stuff, thank you for the 10% ) And I noticed that you’re probably the only one that has access to these people and willing to take the time to bring this kind of content to us, and for that…job well done 👍 my friend and thank you 🙏 PS. It’s true people don’t wash there cars anymore, people pass by and either the look at me as if I was an Alien or the give me a thumbs up with a big o smile…. lol

Thanks for featuring this brand, Pan! The products I've tried from this line have been great, and I definitely plan to try others. I love watching Yvan and Nick interact on their videos - they make a great team.
@@diydetailofficial So far it's probably either Incredible Suds or Interior Clean & Protect, although all the ones I've tried have been good. I'm most looking forward to trying the Interior Ceramic.
Yes, Yes! Pan and Yvan. Two greats in the detailing world. I've seen a few videos of Yvan and Nick. Definitely curious on these products. Not really in detail mode lately... getting chilly here in CT. Nah, hardly anyone washes their cars in this neighborhood. I think they all go to car washes, evidenced by the "looks like they washed with sandpaper" appearance. My Vette and My Dad's car both have coatings that are exactly two years old. Still glossy, still durable. CSL/EXO. Very tough combo. Thanks for putting this video up. I'll be trying some of these. They look like they work well. Enjoy the weekend!
I agree Jay! The evidence that people use automatic car washes is right there as proof: the ridiculous swirls and scratches visible from a mile away in direct sunlight haha. Thankfully, my viewers are all passionate about detailing so everyone in this community keeps their cars clean the proper way! :) Have a great weekend bud!
@@PanTheOrganizer It doesn't have to be that way. No one should drive a dirty/swirled car. I'm glad I use proper methods to preserve a glossy protected finish. Once we learn the proper way to make the finish glow,we keep it there! Thank You!
I hear Hawaii has steady weather. The average daytime summer temperature at sea level is 85° F (29.4° C), while the average daytime winter temperature is 78° (25.6° C).
That makes me happy to hear that my viewers are learning by watching my videos and also hopefully being entertained along the way. Have a great weekend Dini!
Nice video I like the simplicity of the entire line and you explain it in the same way. I am already knee deep in a lot of other products Pan you introduced to me. However there are a few things that are very interesting and I could add to my line up. The polishing pad, Tire Dressing, Water Spot Remover, Tree Sap Remover, Interior Ceramic Coating. Well I named them all instead of a few ha ha. Again as always Pan & Ivan thank you for all that you do. I actually care about my car now it's not just a means of getting from point A to point B.
Thanks for the kind words Charles. I appreciate it. It's always fun to hear that my viewers watch my videos and it inspires them to take great care of their vehicles. A clean car feels so much better right?!
The video I've long awaited! Really great product line with professional results but driving home the values of why we all started detailing. I really like watching Yvan and Pan together they're just awesome! Phenomenal video! The products are awesome a d great priced!

Just absolutely love DIY detail, their products are incredible, and great guys with amazing support and engagement, the more of their products I use, the more I get mad I didn’t try them sooner
I was fortunate enough to have been chosen as a beta tester for some of DIY Detail's products. I have used everything I was sent (Incredible Suds, Rinsless Wash, Quick Beads, Ceramic Gloss and DIY Ceramic Coating ) in my detailing venture and on my own vehicles. While DIY Detail is aimed at the "do it yourself" car enthusiast, they are professional-grade products that will exceed expectations.

Ivan to detailing is the boxer that just can't retire, one more product, one more rinse-less wash, one more buff. lol! Go Ivan go!! Always fun to watch and listen to!
I love that this is a product line overview video, but is packed with just good overall detailing tips. And I I also love that the names of these products are just the simple thing that they do. Definitely going to try the Quick Beads, and probably the interior cleaner and protectant.
Question: I’ve learned to use not only the 2 buckets method. Also to wash the upper part of a car with a different washmitt for the lower part. The reason is, that even if you sprayed and foamed a lot of dirt away, there is maybe still something at the door or even lower part. That’s just how it is and how dirt comes like from the road onto the vehicle. So if you use one washmit it could happen, that you have like little stones or something IN your washmit and make scratches into the paint. But Ivan was using just one washmit. Any thoughts? 😊
There are many different techniques for washing a car. As long as you use safe washing and drying methods, it's all good. I have a tutorial on how I wash cars here: ruclips.net/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/видео.html

I heard ipas are not good for clear coat they can make them swell. And it does make sense because clear coat is a chemical so therefore you're drying up the chemical kind of getting rid of the flexibility of the clear coat and it become brittle

Hey Pan I just moved to Florida and applied Adams graphene ceramic just before the move. From this video you state graphene / ceramic attract water spots. I found that out QUICK here in Florida. What topper would you suggest I apply? A spray wax? Turtle wax seal and shine? Thank you in advance!
It's not that they "attract" water spots. It's that coatings are more prone to water spotting, as they are extremely hydrophobic products and the water beading can lead to water spotting if you have hard water issues where you live, or the car sits in the baking sun after sprinklers through water on it, etc. Any top coat will usually do the tric. A popular one is this: bit.ly/3VuIdBU But nothing prevents water spots 100%. Regular washing is key, maintenance, and perhaps look into purchasing a deionizer for your water system. That ensures 100% mineral-free water.
Would def like to purchase some of these products and try and wash my daily and work truck! Loved this . Pan I have to know , where can I get Those dual bucket wheeled bad boys please I need
There is only one other guy on my whole street that washes his car by hand. I thought about dropping him off a bottle of seal and shine just to say hi to a follow car care person
Are you planning to introduce any liquid wax or a paste wax as well? You have got already a graphene spray detailer are you planning to introduce any liquid or paste wax as well??
Can the ceramic coating be applied in direct sunlight? What do you recommend to apply as a protectant as the coating continues to cure days later in the elements? How long until the car can be washed?
Ideally, you always apply a coating in the shade, or in a garage, on a cool surface. Working in a controlled environment allows you to have full control on flash times for levelling, reduces chances of high spots, etc. After you applied a coating, always wait 1 to 2 weeks before washing your car again, as the coating still continues to cure during those weeks.
This guy is on my level. He's honest and open about his products, tells you the limitations and what to expect from his brand. I appreciate that more then anything. I'd seriously like to buy a few things like the rinseless wash and the ceramic interior protection. But, it's not available in the UK. 😔. 40 years of experience sounds tip top to me also. Hopefully it'll be introduced to the UK soon. I'm happy with Bilt Hamber, Carpro, Gyeon and P&S for now. 👍
I wrote to Imran, the owner of In2Detailing in the UK (one of the biggest car supplies distributors in the UK) to introduce you guys to him. Perhaps you will reach an agreement.
This is all very good news! Very good news. Team work makes the dream work. Hopefully Imran will stock DIY detailing. 40 years of experience can't go to waste and that can't go unrecognised- we (UK) tend to miss out on a lot of good quality products from North America, Thanks Pan, that's a very kind gesture. Hope they can work a deal out 👍 There are a couple more distributors I'd like to share- Prestige car care shop, they are the main UK distributor for Adam's in the UK They also deal with P&S, Griot's, Masterson's and a couple of others. Clean + Shiny have just as many brands under their belt as In2detailing and have been established a long time too. It's always worth reaching out to those guys also.
@@PanTheOrganizer I did, itried the link in the description, the delivery areas in the address were for North America only. I probably could email them directly and see whats on offer, but I imagine the cost to ship would be astromical and wouldn't be cost effective.
@PanTheOrganizer I feel like Rinseless Wash is amazing and Ceramic Gloss with the decontamination towel give an amazing Gloss. You started my journey in this hobby and Yvan and Nick are helping to keep it going. Your engine bay wash video I do exactly as you show.

Hey pan, can you dive into a video on Yvans DIY product quick beads and follow it up applying their ceramic gloss after its dry to give it some more slickness?
No wonder the product line is so deep. The owners who started the company had already been making this kind of stuff. They just tweaked it to their target audience and to what they wanted to be. Good job!

I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
Very true. I am the only person on my street that washes his own car. In the bad old days I washed my car with a bucket and dish soap. When I got my Tesla ceramic coated by my son he swore me off dish soap and gave me some Ph Balanced soap and so my detailing journey began.
The age old debate haha. Most products do a bit of both anyways, due to hydrophobics. If you spray the paintwork with high pressure from a pressure washer, you'll always see beading. If you use a garden hose at a slow flow, and let the water gently flow on the surface, you'll get sheeting. I tend to prefer the looks of beading (as I use deionized water so I'm not worried about water spots) but those who have hard water issues are better with products that tend to sheet more than they bead.
Why do you say don't spray the apc direct on interior panel. That it will ruin it? Many detailers do that and it's fine... but why specifically not with this product
That’s true of all APC’s . It won’t cause damage all the time, but it can, and if it does there’s no turning back. Yes unfortunately some people do it, doesn’t mean it’s the best practice.
SO COOL that you do collab vids with your peers! Mr. LaCroix seems like a down-to-earth guy and he's a very good instructor. I've watched some of his DIY Detail vids, but I don't have any of his products...yet. 😉 Btw, is the discount still good?
Yes the discount should still be valid. Yvan has been a friend of mine for years and it's always nice to do collabs with him. He has over 40+ years of detailing experience, so we like to exchange thoughts on topics.
Yeah I’ll be switching all my products as they empty to DIY Detail products. I’ve always trusted everything Yvan has ever said. Hopefully these products become available in gallon sizes soon.
can you spray Quick Beads on and rinse off and then use Ceramic Gloss on top of that before towel drying? kind of like stacking Ceramic Gloss on top of Quick Beads.
Yes. Don't forget, when spraying Quick Beads, you want to let it stay on the surface for 30-60 seconds, and then rinse. And then once you are done doing the entire car, you can spray Ceramic Gloss and use it as a drying aid while you are towel drying. But it's not necessary. Yvan says that Quick Beads is it's own drying aid. So it provides enough slickness once applied that you don't need an additional drying aid. I hope this helps!
Daggum it I just placed an order yesterday for DIY and I had no idea you had a code. When they release the spray polish I will use your code Pan. I do enjoy ONR but Yvan is the rinseless king and I am looking forward to using his rinseless wash. I also ordered the interior ceramic spray and the maintenance spray. Thank both of you for the video and I am looking forward to watching this line grow. With this world heading into a Great Depression I’m curious to see which products become gallon size and do any products fall into bulk size for easy diluting?
Thank you Neil. Gallon sizes are arriving soon, and yes some products will be concentrated in that format. When you get your order, please check back to tell us your thoughts on them.

@@diydetailofficial I am now a single brand user of Mitchell and King who are specialists in manufacturing hand made waxes here in Scotland and supply all the chemicals needed for detailing and are 10 minutes from my house near Glasgow and I value the advice I get from John the owner of the Company and would now count him as a friend. The two distributors I know of here in Scotland who cover the UK would be in2Detailing and Polished Bliss but unfortunately although I have used them in the past I have no contacts within the firms. I am sure that with your name and reputation doors would open if you were to contact them directly. I will follow this story closely and wish you well in this latest venture. You never know I may purchase a couple of your products in the future because I liked the look of a few of them well to be fair most of them and am sure with your reputation they will all be of a very high standard. Keep me in the loop through your You Tube channel when you get tied up with a UK distributor as I am sure it will only be a matter of time. The detailing community here in the UK is huge as I am sure you are aware. In my street alone there are three of us who I would consider to be fanatical with regards keeping their cars spotless and trying out different products and tools.
I am introducing the DIY Detail team to the In2Detailing UK website, a large supplier of detailing products in the UK, so hopefully they can work something out for my UK viewers. :)
My car is not ceramic coated and daily driven. I wash weekly. Can I use both beads and gloss for max protection? Is that overkill or just not effective use of products? How are your products with dust? My car is garaged. I have OG drying aid that I’m trying to get through because its a dust magnet for me. Have any recommendations for dusting?
DIY Detail Quick Beads and DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss can be “stacked” for additional protection. Unfortunately some ceramics are dust magnets for the first few days or weeks. As the ceramic cures the phenomenon goes away. As it’s curing the reaction causes static to attract dust.
Another great video, Pan! I don't see anything compound in there I can use on the micro-marring is see in the sunlight. I just bought the car recently and it is in great condition. The peculiar thing is, the marring is short lines that are up and down, not even in a circle. Does that make sense? Is there a carnauba wax I can use to rid the car of micro-marring or is that strictly polishing? Is there a place you would recommend for polishing in Las Vegas? An acquaintance from the industry? Sorry for the long question and comment but I trust your judgement. Thanks for your great content
To get rid of fine scratches or micro-marring, only paint correction with a compound or polish will do. Just using a glaze or wax would only temporarily fill in the scratches with fillers, and wouldn't correct the issue. I have a popular tutorial on machine polishing for beginners by the way. Here: ruclips.net/video/ustTEVGMOTI/видео.html
Thanks Guys! I appreciate all you do. I tried most of line as soon as it came out. Is it perfect for my shop, no , but it s great for my home garage and weekend daily driver touch ups. Detailing by Brent
Ready to use products that you don’t dilute and are designed for the non-professional average person need to be heavily advertised or sold to that market. Which means Walmart, Kmart, Canadian Tire etc…. When selling to that market the average person(your market) is generally cheap and doesn’t want to pay much which means low profit margins, which means high volume to make a decent living, which means time till you make money(or even break even) which means deep pockets. Tip: have a secondary line that costs more and is designed for the “professional user” that you have a higher profit margin on and is sold at “professional detailing” stores only and the professional Detailer gets a 20% discount.
@@diydetailofficial Sorry, I didn’t intend to come across as a “know it all”. I never doubted you or Yvan. 35 years in the automotive industry as an owner and 6 years in the fire, flood and carpet cleaning industry manufacturing chemicals, working with formulas and also sales/management taught me a few things. Chris at Carzilla and I know each other as I worked with him on a wipe-on glass coating that I put a 2 yr/20,000 km warranty on. I also learned a lot with a product that I imported into Canada. Dealing with large retailers is not easy and requires a lot of patience and money. But, from what I see, you’re on the right path. Keep up the hard work.
I’ve actually seen some people in my neighborhood washing their own car it’s mostly older dads they use brushes too dunking in their single soap bucket!😭
@@PanTheOrganizer I’ve got to say Clean & Protect kinda blew me away with its cleaning power and fragrance 🧼🇺🇸🤙 quick beads is phenomenal and incredible suds is indeed INCREDIBLE! Lol
Not to my knowledge, but I don't have a concrete driveway. The only iron remover I have heard that stains driveways was the original Stoner Iron Remover formula.
I have a new Ford Maverick. I live in Florida and do not have a garage. I need to know the best product to protect my rubber weatherstripping around my windows and protect my tonneau cover from heat and sun. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Pan, regarding using the clay towel and the iron remover… You stated that not all iron removers could be used as lubricants… Does P&S brake buster fall into that category or can I use it as a lubricant with a clay towel?
That's too vague of a question. You would have to be more specific with which coatings you would compare these two. But they aren't professional grade, as they can be purchased by the public. Pro grade coatings are for certified installers only.
@Pan The Organizer oh I've got another quick question. I recently got a rock chip just above my windshield on the roof. I noticed it started to rust a tiny bit. I bought a Dr. Color Chip kit to fix it. My question is should I use an iron remover to get rid of the rust and then apply the paint to seal it? Or should I use sandpaper to remove the rust inside the rock chip?

Is there a waterless product equivalent to OPT's Opti-Clean in the DIY Detail product line?
Oui
We have one on the way.

A popular one is this: bit.ly/3VuIdBU
But nothing prevents water spots 100%. Regular washing is key, maintenance, and perhaps look into purchasing a deionizer for your water system. That ensures 100% mineral-free water.

Are you planning to introduce any liquid wax or a paste wax as well? You have got already a graphene spray detailer are you planning to introduce any liquid or paste wax as well??
We have many other products in development.
The DIY Detail Ceramic Coating can be applied, but ideally shade is best, and make sure the panel is cool. No need for a topper.

Very true. I am the only person on my street that washes his own car.
In the bad old days I washed my car with a bucket and dish soap.
When I got my Tesla ceramic coated by my son he swore me off dish soap and gave me some Ph Balanced soap and so my detailing journey began.
Your son is a good guy! 👍🏻
Which sprayers are included? The ones shown in this video or the ones on the website photos?
We include Tolco sprayers .
Hi Pan, do you prefer beading or sheeting on a car? 👍
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks Pan 👍
Awesome video. Thanks so much for both of your times. Take care brothers.

@@diydetailofficial what kind of damage could it cause if over sprayed and basically left to dry withoit wiping ? Staining etc you mean?

Thanks Michael !
Thank you.
can you spray Quick Beads on and rinse off and then use Ceramic Gloss on top of that before towel drying? kind of like stacking Ceramic Gloss on top of Quick Beads.
I am introducing the DIY Detail team to the In2Detailing UK website, a large supplier of detailing products in the UK, so hopefully they can work something out for my UK viewers. :)
@@johnbrown3951 thank you, and yes great customer service like your getting is something to be celebrated and cherished.
How long does the ceramic gloss last?
Love the video
Thanks Goney! I think they state 4 to 6 months of protection with the Ceramic Gloss spray.
Pan I wanna see a comparison/review of DIY Detail Rinseless vs P&S Absolute the two new kids on the block for rinseless washes. Great video as always!
Thanks!
Same
Thanks Guys! I appreciate all you do. I tried most of line as soon as it came out. Is it perfect for my shop, no , but it
s great for my home garage and weekend daily driver touch ups. Detailing by Brent
Thanks for sharing!
Do you have a fragrance free option?
Unfortunately not, it’s very costly to manufacture and warehouse these products, we are trying to keep the number of products low.
Thank you for your comment. Having been in the industry over forty years, Yvan knows where he’s going with this.
LOL
At least they are cleaning them.
Pan The Man with Yvan the Goat 🐐 I’ve been enjoying the products from DIY Detail 🧼🇺🇸
Thanks for watching Jamie! What's your favourite product in their lineup?
@@PanTheOrganizer I’ve got to say Clean & Protect kinda blew me away with its cleaning power and fragrance 🧼🇺🇸🤙 quick beads is phenomenal and incredible suds is indeed INCREDIBLE! Lol
Thank you Jamie!
Will the DIY Detail Iron Remover, stain or do any damage to my concrete driveway?
Not to my knowledge, but I don't have a concrete driveway. The only iron remover I have heard that stains driveways was the original Stoner Iron Remover formula.
Ivan is the man!!
He is a great guy that's for sure! :)
Thank you.
I have a garage that when the floor is wet, it’s very slippery. If i was my truck on my driveway, it gets water spots. Any suggestions?
Awesome vids guys..
Will there be a interior "smelly good " perfume in the future.
Something to kill bad odors !?
Un autre banger panner...
Thank you, we have more products on the way.
Thanks Dan!
I never use wipes in my actual detailing. I have a few in my trunk for out and about issues. It's just a get me by type of thing.
You mentionned foam soap that Works and some doesn't. Does carpro soap like lift Works or not as a pre-treatment?
I have a new Ford Maverick. I live in Florida and do not have a garage. I need to know the best product to protect my rubber weatherstripping around my windows and protect my tonneau cover from heat and sun. Thank you for any help you can give me.

@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you very much. I know you stay busy, yet you have taken the time to answer my question.
Pan, regarding using the clay towel and the iron remover… You stated that not all iron removers could be used as lubricants… Does P&S brake buster fall into that category or can I use it as a lubricant with a clay towel?
It would be impossible to say as I can't possibly test every combo. You can perhaps write to P&S and ask them.
Can you get these products in the uk 🇬🇧 as the link in the video won’t allow delivery outside of USA 🇺🇸
If you order them through here you might be able to have them shipped to the UK: bit.ly/3RDNap2
We are looking for a distributor in the UK and EU. If you have a distributor you like using, ask them to contact us.
Cheers.. I use ultimate finish .. I’ll give them a buzz and ask .. they are quite big over here
@@PanTheOrganizer .. sadly link only does Canada and USA
Hi Pan. Do you know if/when these products will come to the uk?
I don't know yet unfortunately.
Do you know if the diy coatings are comparable to professional grade coatings?
That's too vague of a question. You would have to be more specific with which coatings you would compare these two. But they aren't professional grade, as they can be purchased by the public. Pro grade coatings are for certified installers only.
Is the Quick Beads ok to apply on top of a ceramic coating?
Yes absolutely!
Would quick beads be okay on top of a wrap or ppf?
Yes
