  • Recipe here: www.joyofbakin... Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make an Apple Pie. This Apple Pie has two layers of buttery crisp pastry enclosing slices of tangy sweet apples covered with cinnamon sugar. It is an American classic. While perfect on its own, you may want to try it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a dollop of softly whipped cream, or with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese.

I'm a 70 year old Italian. Every morning I cook. I think I have cooking..itis. lol. I've been cooking all my life, but this lady is truly amazing !! As I live in Europe I particularly like the fact that she gives measurements and oven temperature also for people abroad. I live in Spain at the moment and I can smell this delicious apple pie even from here 😋. So dear lady ,you have just got yourself another new subscriber.x

Thank you Mme Jaworski. It takes a lot of time to make it but it's worthy!

I have dived down the rabbit hole many turns in search of comprehensive recipe of an apple pie including filling and a butter crust.
    DING DING DING
This is the most helpful, organized tutorial on this subject I have seen. The presenter is specific, supportive, gracious and keeps a sense of humor. This is in my SAVED videos as a future reference. Thanks Stephanie. 💜

Stephanie, I wish to express to you how very much that I truly appreciate this video. I very much thank you. Within my family, I have become the apple pie bringer. Really I only make about 3-4 of these per year, but the crowed reaction alone makes it all worth the while! Usually I check out your site before any baking experiment, but I always keep coming back to this one over and over again for guidance and reassurance. I feel as if I have a good friend having my back. In particular, I truly love the buttery pastry. It is a gift that you have passed on and further to be shared. Again, I do thank you so very much. Live well Dear.

Your apple pie recipe is MAGIC. I made it last year for thanks giving and the family was blown away. I’ve kept them on an apple pie diet for a whole year so you can imagine how badly this pie was a demanded/ordered/under threat to bake 😅😂. And just now, my sister saw me go through your video and commented, “oh she is your secret ingredient!”
Thank you for being my secret ingredient! NO way could I have done it without your excellent videos! 💜💜

I did it!!! I am very slow while baking so I started at 10 pm and finished at 3 am but it was so worth it!! I've never did in my life a pie crust so it was a little challenging but at the end it was amazing! Even my stepdad who is a professional chef was amazed and asked me how I did the pie 🥧 😁😁 thank you for the recipe and the video‼‼

Hi Stephanie, I just HAD to message you. I’ve just in last few days (10th Dec 2021) made this Apple Pie for my husband. He requested one for a treat as it’s near Christmas so I wanted a special one. I thought "Stephanie’s will be good’….Was I right! He said this is the BEST Apple Pie he’s ever had. Honestly thank you because it’s stunning. There’s only the 2 of us and it’s a nice size so it’s 4 days since I made it, we’ve enjoyed many servings each and I still have some left, even after this time, the pastry still has a crispness to it, it’s amazing hot, cold, room temperature, with custard, cream, everything in between!…..thank you Stephanie, I really appreciate you and all your hard work on your channel, the best baking channel on RUclips and Ricks hard work too of course!……Anyone reading this who isn’t sure whether to make an Apple Pie or not don’t hesitate, make this one, it’s the best you’re going to get I promise! Xx❤️xX

I just want to say THANK YOU for teaching a 64 woman how to make a pie crust! I’ve tried and tried for years to make a decent pie crust but they’ve all turned out a disappointment- either too hard, too dry but never flakey. I followed your video (with clear, concise directions) and what an amazing pie! My husband has endured almost 40 years of inedible pie crusts (with never a complaint - one of the reasons we have a happy marriages) and to see him smile as he ate the apple pie was such a wonderful moment. I love your videos and the delicious recipes - looking forward to trying more of them. And again - THANK YOU!

Hello Stephanie from Perpignan, France. Been following you for a while and have made your apple pie a few times. As you say so kindly in your video, it takes a bit of practice to master the pie crust to get it just right, so not to despair. I'm preparing this apple pie for my guests who arrive tomorrow, am also going to have a go at the blueberry buckle so will get down to that once the apple pie is made. Thanks so much again for your great recipes, your tips and most of all your kindness.

To that add pecans or walnuts and some frozen whole cranberries...wow! Top crust with cut leaf vent...glaze with egg white & decorater crystal sugar. My finishingof an apple pie. I like Braiburn, Granny Smith, Yellow. My favorite next to Sour Cream Raisen & a good Chess pie.

I had never made a pie before in my life and i wanted to see if i could do it. I went to the store and got my supplies. I followed the video perfectly and my came out so good. I didn’t have light brown sugar but i had dark so i used that and it tasted so good still. Thank you.
