Muchas gracias mi muy querido Paul, soy María de Ecuador, me encanta ver tus programas, todo delicioso, tus recetas sencillas y deliciosas...eres una Maravilla!!! Gracias otra vez...
They should be bramleys, and lightly poached in large enough chunks so they don’t get mushy. Drain off. Then cook. It’s the traditional British way. Never heard of raw apples going in, yuk!
Very nice. I never thought of muffin tin or mixing cooked and uncooked apples. I’m going to bake up some for my mates at Experimental Aircraft Club meeting.
Hola Paul, me encanta esta receta x que a mi me gusta el relleno de manzana yo suelo ponerle nueces pasas de uva y canela .fácil se preparan rápido. Gracias un saludo 🌹
This is my idea of an apple pie where you can taste the apples and buttery pastry. Most modern recipes mask these flavours by adding cinnamon! Thank you .
Wonderful !! and I get to use my new loose bottom mini cake tin with 12 holes woop! Yaay! fortunately they turned out really good and tasted delicious, thank you for this recipe Mr H xx
Sería maravilloso que saliera la traducción al español, aunque no entiendo nada de inglés trato de seguir las recetas y me resultan. Me encanta Paul. Saludos desde Curicó, Chile.
Thank you Paul for that easy recipe for Apple Pies, my favorite because I love apples, the love you put into it when making it and tasting it with so much charisma, makes it look more delicious and crunchy and I know from your expression that it is so! Congrats! 👏✌🍏🍎😋🤩🤗✨
Oh, Paul, that looks divine. So simple but speaks to your heart. Why didn't I ever think of baking some of the cooking apples first and mixing with apples I like to eat? Not sure what cooking apples are. In the States, they always advise using Granny Smith's, which are sour and I hate them....so, perhaps those are the ones to be cooked down. I love Honeycrisp and Golden and Red Delicious apples...I prefer a sweeter pie. Never had it with custard or cream. I must say I like a lot of cinnamon in my apple pies, which I will add on my own. I would like to have seen you remove the tarts from the muffin tin...it looked like they would still stick and I would end up with apple crumble. Heh.
@@supergran1000 Very very rare. Just found some after many years, at a great orchard that's giving them a try! Mostly, we have to sub Granny Smiths or similar-- not the same, and I don't think I would use this recipe without Bramleys.
So interesting re mixing the apples. I will try that for sure. One question: As a Canadian I never know which apple to use as a "cooker"! Any ideas? One thing I really miss are Bramley apples. Yum!
Granny Smith is always a good choice in Canada for baking and is easily available! Braeburn and Northern Spy also are good for baking. I will often use three or more varieties in the same pie.
Hi Paul! Could you please upload big size apple pie?🙏🙏I’ve never baked good apple pies. They are always too wet or crust is too thick. Just can’t get it right.🤦♀️ Please please share your best normal size apple pie🙏🙏🙏
I was searching for a great fresh apple cooked filling for my mini Dash pie maker. I don't like pie crust with shortening. Yours are essentially puffed pastry based. T*H*A*N*K*S*!
Hi I'm just a home baker very much inspired by these videos, have you thought of lining your tin with muffin cases and then you can just lift out, I'm going to bake these today and do half lined and half unlined and see how it goes will let you know x
@nova7260 oh that's a good idea, might try it. Or maybe a 2 rectangles of greaseproof paper making a cross underneath the pie so that you can pull it out like a brownie.
Question about the icing sugar. Here in Canada icing sugar contains corn starch, so my concern is will this affect the pastry in some way. Or did you mean to use confections sugar, which has no corn starch. Love the idea of individual pies never thought of that.
Hello I’m not here to waste much of your time I just came across your profile on my feed and you seem like a business minded person so I thought I should hit you up with a business proposal.

Hi Paul, i know im watching this 2 years later, the thing I just don't understand why people continue to do these things in a small bowl, get a big bowl and give yourself some room to move, i wasn't even in my teens when i noticed this, I'm 62 now and people still do it. I just don't get it,would go for a bath and get into the sink 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cooked apples, no, no. Get slush pie! Use a sweet apple rue and you get a luscious crisp apple pie. Cut apple slices to appropriate size for correct baking.
I love all of these Easy Bakes episodes but it would be extremely helpful if there was less slow motion on the close-up shots. It is distracting and sometimes makes it difficult to focus on what Paul is actually doing in those close up shots.
I know others have voiced a different opinion, but I really appreciate the slow motion, zoomed-in shots!
I will definitely bake it, how good the filling looks, an interesting tip cooked apples together with raw diced apples .., be blessed !🙏🙏🙏❤❤🍎🍏.
I made it according to your recipe. It's just fantastic, so delicious! Thank you!!!
That’s a definite keeper ! Home Sweet Home !

Apple pie using slices of Granny Smith's and a piece cheddar cheese with your slice of pie makes a great breakfast!

Jonagold, Braeburn, and Honeycrisp are others recommended for baking, though I would never bake with Honeycrisp--too good fresh.
In the UK, cooking apples are Bramleys. Do you have those in the States?

Wow i love apple pie👍❤️👍👍
Yumm,! Thanks for the recipe and instruction video. Love apple pie but don’t always want to make a big pie. These look like they might freeze well?
MMMMM this pie was TOOO GOOOd!!!, I almost got cuaght by the pie POLICE!!! PHEW- i think i like this little pie....

I love your recipe but I love to mix the sugar with cinnamon powder and sprinkle it on top. And by the way you’ve got beautiful blue eyes

thank you.
Hi Paul do you use salted or unsalted butter?
I was searching for a great fresh apple cooked filling for my mini Dash pie maker. I don't like pie crust with shortening. Yours are essentially puffed pastry based.
T*H*A*N*K*S*!
recipe says cold butter paul then says room temp bit confusing
I did exactly by gram and technique each step it was very crumbly and hard to roll thin. tasted fine just to thick in the shells?
Hot apple pie and ice creams... :)
Other versions of apple pies you can find visiting our channel :)
The little pies taste great but I struggled to get them out of the baking tray intact - even though I buttered the tray as advised. Any ideas?

Oh! Your last name is Hollywood 😂. I'm gonna watch the video anyway. I hope I enjoy it. Wish me luck.
Wow! I'm glad I stayed. I enjoyed the video.
Love the recipe, and seeing Hollywood baking. Not a fan of the slo-mo editing, super distracting, but otherwise love the videos.
Nice simple recipe, nice simple method to, not to keen on the slow motion parts 😂 😂
Thank you for your lovely compliment. I hope my recipe was able to help you.
🥰❤❤😋mmmmm
No cinnamon or nutmeg in with the apples? I have never had an apple pie that didn't have cinnamon in it. :D
No docking??...
❤️🥰😋💯🤝👏👏👏
Why on earth don’t you use an apron? Love from 🇳🇴.

Totally agree lol 😂
Even though i sealed the edges and put a hole in the lids the apples bubbled out all over the place. What a mess. Think I’ll stick to large apple pie.
Cooked apples, no, no. Get slush pie! Use a sweet apple rue and you get a luscious crisp apple pie. Cut apple slices to appropriate size for correct baking.

so you didn't add any spices at all. interesting

A relatively poor instructional video
