What tricks do you use when making corned beef hash?
I didn't have Lava Salt, so I substituted Lava Rock. My little brother is no longer with us. But this is how we learn as cooks.

Why does everyone think of corned beef when they think of hash. My mother always made roast beef hash, and I do the same thing; in fact, I've never prepared corned beef in my kitchen. And rather than chop everything up before cooking, I get out the good ol' cast iron grinder (thanks to my mother-in-law) and run the meat, potatoes, and onions through it; then I cook it up in that all-important ingredient - bacon fat.

Corner beef was actually made from a shreds chicken, added by right amount coloring ad seasoning.
So they popularized beef chucks in hopes of disproving it

I will, however pass this to someone who does like Corned Beef Hash.
This vid is fairly deceptive. It's advertised as things that go well with corned beef & hash. Nearly half of it is how to make it from scratch & what can be added to it (no, not other dishes, just more herbs/spices/complements). I couldn't even finish it. Man, RUclips has gotten SO...business/commercial oriented (i.e., pay us your subscription fee & do whatever the hell you want--as long as it doesn't get us in trouble with regulatory agencies). This is one of the MANY clips I've clicked on only to go, "What is this??? It ain't what the title is promoting." RUclips getting really old, really fast....
