One of my favorites by this duo. I grew up in the 80s... I was 13 years old when this song came out. Saw them in concert, on The Big Bam Boom. One of fondest memories of my youth.
I was supposed to see them in concert for the first time this summer but then covid-19 happened ☹

Best duo in history
I'm 22 when I heard this song on the radio some years ago, my mind just clicked back on it. I never knew the name so I asked my mom and since then I couldn't stop playing it, I even put it as my ringtone. I would dance before answering and no I didn't have a sound card for Gta vice city, so you know I couldn't hear shit. I was shocked to know this song was in the game.. 😌😅

Just found your channel today. Great Hall and Oates song. I remember listening to it on my work lunchbreak with my Walkman. Loved the beat which was so infectious! Hall and Oates like Micheal McDonald could and can sing anything and make it great!

I saw Hall and Oaks with Sharon Jones (RIP) and the Dap Kinds and Trombone Shorty in Chicago a few years back. No Joke. More diverse crowd than Wu-Tang and Outkast. Out of the hundreds of concerts I’ve been to H&O will always be one of my favorites. Make sure to check out Sharon Jones and Trombone Shorty. Dance Party!
I love the video too, but funny thing. In his book, John Oates says it was while they were stuck in that claustrophobic drum that they realized it was time to wrap things up. At the end of the tour they split for several years.

One if my favourite
Totally one of my guilty pleasure song. I always wanted to open a restaurant. Not like the retro cafe in back to the future but a little more upscale and play nothing but stuff like this as the background music. Whole menu on a chalk board with like 5 or 6 entrees and a few house appetizers. I think it would fly.
