In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a refreshing full body workout using weights that benefits from both sitting and standing positions.
This is an intermediate level routine and incorporates all areas of the upper and lower body as well as core. Utilizing the body's position in both a standing and seated position, Meredith uses light weights to add extra resistance to every move which helps give you a more beneficial workout.
If done correctly, adding weights to most workout routines is a great way to add more challenge and benefit from your movements. Being that this is an intermediate level workout it is a good idea to be familiar with the weights you will be using (substitute with water bottles, lighter weight of cans of soup) and we recommend watching the "preview" at the beginning of the video to get an idea of what you will be doing.
As always keep your water close by, never force any movements that cause you pain or discomfort and remember to have fun:)

This is a good one and all I need 😉 I'm a walker yet I need some resistance I love this because over the years I've suffered some injury's to my back lower so I use low weight but I'm used to staying fit so that's where modification comes in 🙌🏾 How many days a week should one do this workout ?

I am glad you enjoy the workouts. As far as lowering blood sugar, you need to monitor that and make sure you are doing what is best for you!
Is it important to keep feet on ground when seated? When I bend back for abs, my feet tends to rise. I can get a lower chair instead of my Silver Sneakers chair which is high as I am short. I do one video every day. You are great.
Hi Mary! It is good to keep the feet on the ground so the abdominal muscles work and it’s not just rocking back and forth to sit back and tall. Just make sure the hip flexors are not doing all of the work:)

Hi ,the arm raise exercise at minute 12:18 when my arm is raise up to the side ..my arm/elbow don't have to be straight it can be bend ?
Yes, it can have a slight bend, that is fine!
I tried this 2 times. i thought easy to follow, but by second time my back hurts terribly.
